  1. Oh, yeah, and there's also the Marvel logo... definitely a set of all time. I absolutely hate it. Why anyone would pay for this is beyond me. It's a red box with a few letters. The minifigures look boring, same old same old. The display option is ridiculously bad. It looks hilariously awful, despicably horrible. Just plainly laughable. Then there's also the Airport Battle. Again, it looks bad, and completely not worth its price. The display is tiny, and the Quinjet is like a miniature, completely out of place. Giant-Man looks bad, especially the head. The minifigures are all downgrades. Captain America is still the Age of Ultron version. Black Panther is super plain. Wanda looks bad—the faceprint and the hairpiece don't work at all, and no skirt looks poor. Spider-Man has no leg printing. And Bucky, for some reason, is the Winter Solider version, not the Civil War one—and a poorly done one at that! No arm printing, which is crucial for him, and the hair is black... why? Worse—because if he really is, why isn't his hair short and why does he still have Mjölnir?
  2. So... to start with the good... The Spider-Verse set would be quite amazing—if it was 30€ instead of 50€. I still can't get over that price point, it's ridiculous. The builds are great and look fun (especially the PDNY car), and the minifigures are nice. Spot and Jefferson look awesome. I don't like the torsoprint for Miles, they really made it way more detailed than it needs to be. I would just skip the dark blue, it ruins the simplicity of the suit. Now, let's talk about Gwen... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT HAIRPIECE AND THAT FACEPRINT?! They literally have a perfect hairpiece for her, and they decided to go with... this, instead? The faceprint also looks completely off, especially next to Miles' more cartoonish one.
  3. Eh, that's a completely different scenario. The Malfoy Manor is a regular retailer 150€ set. Ham Aslume, on the other hand, is a 400€ D2C that's (presumably) a modular build, like the X-Mansion or the Sanctum Sanctorum. I just really hope that in terms of minifigures, it's on the level of the Daily Bugle and not the X-Mansion.
  4. Grogu with his hover pram looks awesome. I really love the accessories, and the display stand with the figure is a nice addition. The Acclamator, on the other hand, is awful. The ship looks weirdly disproportionate to what it's trying to portray, but also... 50€ for this? It looks like a 30€ set at best, it's ridiculously small. I have no idea what have all these pieces gone into.
  5. It's kind of funny that we'll just get a single Harry Potter set in March then.
  6. Looks like we'll be getting another 4 Privet Drive set in the Summer—but this time based on the Prisoner of Azkaban. Balloon Aunt Marge has been teased by maxbautde on Instagram.
  7. Oh, that actually looks awesome. LEGO would really benefit from introducing a new torso type like this.
  8. Buildable B2EMO is much likelier than a buildable K-2SO methinks. (But I hope it's neither. Just give us a regular set with minifigures.)
  9. They couldn't be fake. The set numbers and prices are confirmed, thanks to various retailers.
  10. I mean sure, in that case you're right. Still, once again, this doesn't change anything and the point remains. It's been nearly a decade, and the sets aren't available.
  11. 76967 (25€, 317 pcs) 76969 (45€, 468 pcs)
  12. No. I will be in heaven. If by "Dedra Battle Pack" you mean a set with Dedra and three Death Troopers to protect her, that is. There's only one Dedra, and I love her to the fullest extent.
  13. It was actually the same guy that told Sony to re-release Morbius (promising a box office success).
  14. Uh, no they didn't. The last Lord of the Rings set released in 2013, while the last Hobbit one was in 2014. But the point still stands, and it doesn't change anything—it's been a decade, and the sets are inaccessible now. They're going for crazy prices.
  15. That may be so, but you're not the target group for this set. Those sets are targeted towards adult fans who like LotR enough to buy a set and display it. The people who are "truly" into LotR and completing their collection which started 12, 13 years ago are only a very small minority. People won't be convinced to buy the set because of unnamed Hobbits—it needs big names and popular characters to make it sell well.
  16. Insane that most of the January sets have leaked, the official images are around the corner, we're getting Summer leaks already—all while Jurassic World doesn't even have any set names for the January wave. But the January sets aren't for the new movie. And we have names for Andor and The Fantastic Four sets.
  17. I'll be disappointed if the mystery Andor set is a Battle Pack. We're already getting just scraps with only three sets for the whole series, but I can't imagine one of them being a small set full of generic, unnamed army builders.
  18. No. It was actually yours all along—they've seen it on Euorbricks and decided to go back in time in order to implement it in their set.
  19. We already have nearly all the characters, but that's not the point. The theme has been dead for over ten years before we got any new sets—those minifigures are not easily obtainable, and when they are, the prices are cosmic. When you're paying for a collectors' set like this, you want all the main characters to be there, and not just fillers made of no-names. I'm not saying the dwarves necessarily have to be in this set, but the argument "we got them before" is pretty ridiculous in this case.
  20. U-Wing is a 70€ set releasing on May 1st, based on the second season of Andor. In June, August or September we will be getting another Andor set—although there's no information on the price and what season it's based on. I hope this means LEGO has noticed the demand for more Andor. If I was to guess, I'd say it's either Luthen's Fondor or a TIE Avenger. Those make the most sense I think.
  21. Yeah, but like... The Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts are super-safe bets. They're not new properties with unknown characters—those movies are guaranteed hits.
  22. Nope. I was hoping that after Sora and Arin got new suits for the Tournament, they'd just start getting new suits each season like all the other Ninja. I guess not.
  23. The X-Mansion isn't though. I expect the Ham Aslume to look more like this than the Sanctum Sanctorum.
  24. So apparently the leakers are not sure if we're getting a Superman set based on the movie. Boo-urns says that the Fantastic Four set is the only Super Heroes set based on an upcoming movie. But according to Clay, "Other sources are now reporting that there is still the potential for sets based on the new Superman film." I guess we can only cross our fingers then. If we're not getting one, I will throw away my Superman suit and become the Jonkler. The insanity will increase by immeasurable numbers.
