LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

That's what I'm thinking too. Obviously I'd kill for another Andor set, as you all probably know, but I'm gonna keep my hopes in check as to not become fully delusional. The hint is vague, and I've no idea what it's even alluding to. -

I don't think the problem with the Batmobile is the price itself—it's not a regular system-scale Batmobile, obviously, and the PPP ratio is fairly good too—900+ pieces for 100€. The problem is, who is this set even made for? Schumacher's Batman movies aren't particularly popular or liked to begin with, but I assume a ~40€ set would sell well—both with kids (thanks to the villains) and adult collectors. But a 100€ oversized collectors' edition one, with probably a minimal character roster? I don't see this selling well at all. -

They specifically said it's a regular retailer set when asked the same question. -

I know, but my point is that the Mr. Negative rumour was quickly deleted by the original source, and I think others implied it's false anyway. -

I don't think so, since I'm pretty sure the leakers have said that there aren't any more Andor sets for this year. -

It is. Crossing my fingers for a big fig Lizard or Venom, because otherwise... ugh. It wouldn't make sense for it to connect to the deli since it's not a Spider-Verse set. Hoping we get one next year that does, either Miles' or Uncle Aaron's apartment would be amazing. -

Isn't it like... the single most praised trilogy of all time? I can't think of any other that people love so much, and the same time is so iconic. -

It's the same set. Turns out it's not a Batcave after all. -

Interesting tidbit about 75433, an unknown ship set. A reliable leaker on Discord said that it's a "regular retail" set, and "they think they understand why it's being kept a secret". Wonder what it could be then... this is the only unknown set left for 2025. Kinda crazy that it's January, and we already know the full line-up for the year (which is great, since it helps assess the budget). -

Now that I think of it, maybe it's something more like this? The piece count is fairly similar. https://brickset.com/sets/7784-1/The-Batmobile-Ultimate-Collectors-Edition The problem is, I don't see it including many minifigures then. The piece count is really good too, since it has 900+ pieces for 100€. -

Unfortunately that was a miscommunication on the Discord leakers' part. A random guy said "What if 76317 is based on Spiderman" and one of the reliable leakers replied "Yes". After that, another one confirmed that there are no more Raimi sets in this wave, and the set is actually based on comicbook Spider-Man. -

Lots to unpack here. It looks like like there's a new gimmick type—not helmets, but busts with a minifigure. The piece counts are atrocious though—60€ for 379 pieces and 70€ for 436 pieces. More Endgame sets? What a surprise. Honestly, couldn't care less about those at this point. A 106-piece 4+ Quinjet and "Gauntlet ship" sound almost like Mighty Micros. The Iron Patriot playset sounds boring. An Iron Man 2 set sounds great actually, but it sucks that apparently there's no Wiplash. At least the price is fair with being 20€. The Quinjet sounds cool. No main villain of the movie is kind of a bummer, but at least it includes Quicksliver, and the piece count is actually great too, with it being 120€ for 1131 pieces. The most surprising set is Oscorp. Absolutely did not expect it being a regular playset. It's based on comicbooks, so LEGO has to go out of its way either the minifigures—but most likely, it would just be reuses. The price though... 130€ for 808 pieces?! What in the actual hell LEGO?! This is insane. 76317 is another comicbook Spider-Man set too, wonder what it is. Bummer it's not another Raimi one. -

Yesss, a buildable Wall•E and Eve! This is amazing! The Ideas Wall•E was one of the few sets I'm still really sad about missing out on, so that's a perfect opportunity to correct that mistake. -

You know what... I'd actually like a buildable B1 figure. But the problem is, this our... what, fifth buildable figure of 2025? It's just ridiculous, and I honestly have no idea why they sell so well—unless LEGO just makes them out of spite to us. -

Yeah, that's the August wave. Besides the January one already being mostly Clone Wars stuff, and the May and June one consisting almost entirely of gimmicks (helmets, microfighters, buildable figures), it turns out the August one (the main one of the year) is 80% Clone Wars and buildable figures. (Which made plenty of people here annoyed, because Clones are cool and all, but we're at a point where there's a visible overload of those.) The rumours are all reliable, except the Turbo Tank, which some leakers are unsure about. Anyway, here's a list (just for August though—we're still getting eight sets in May, three in June, an Advent Calendar in September, and a 1000€ Death Star in October): 75413 UT-AT (150€, 813 pcs; includes two Galactic Marines) 75414 Turbo Tank / Rebuild the Galaxy set (50€, 349 pcs) 75417 AT-ST [18+] (200€, 1513 pcs) 76428 ??? (???, ???) 75430 Buildable Ewok (90€, ???) 75431 327th Star Corp Battle Pack (40€, 258 pcs) 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter (60€, 537 pcs; includes three minifigures—Asajj Ventress, a Phase I Clone Pilot, and possibly Obi-Wan Kenobi) 75433 Ship (???, ???) 75434 Buildable K-2SO (90€, ???) 75435 MTT (150€, ???; based on Clone Wars with a blue and white colour scheme) So as you can see, at least half their sets in August are based on Clone Wars. -
I really hate how half the minifigures in the magazines don't include the shoulder pads. They really make most of the suits work—there's a reason they are there in the first place.

LEGO just loves their Quinjets. It's one if the few MCU vehicles that have a recognisable name and have appeared in multiple movies, so it makes sense why they love doing those. But in the grand scheme of things, it isn't more recognisable than a random ship from a random Star Wars movie—and obviously it's nowhere near the Millennium Falcon. -

It hasn't. We know nothing about this set besides it being 10354 Bag End with 2017 pieces, releasing in April. Not even a price... (Which I hope we get soon, because if it's 200€ or less I'll have to finally but an Icons LotR set.)
