    My daughter and I binge watched the Netflix series yesterday.(her first binge watch session ?) It was pretty cute...like most 4 year olds she wants all of the animals in Lego form. Can't say I disagree, bring on the jackalopes and elk!

    Excited for the series to debut. I hope they develop the characters differently than the web shorts... Honestly, the vapid boy crazy nature of the elves was such a turn off that I don't let my kids watch it. Seems like a disservice to the quality of the sets.

    I did notice there are two male characters and I read the fine print that Friends is undergoing a brand reboot. I hope that means that there will be some more characters. We have like..409848 Mias! The play features seem more in line with the other action series' sets... talking specifically about the tree house. It looks like maybe the bedrooms are companion sets to the house of friendship? They look fairly small as well...wonder if they are taking the place of the <$15 animal sets/subtheme?

    I was coming here all sad because I couldn't see proof of next year's elves sets on insta and I see some rumblings here that the theme *is* coming back! Off to look at the Nexo topic! HP and Elves?!?! yasss, queen.

    I think Lego at BN, at least locally is kind of a "best kept," secret for us nerds who want access to new sets right away but aren't close to a Lego store. I think that will change as they aren't going to be carrying many other toy brands from now on. Gotta take advantage while I can!

    Try Barnes and Noble- I went in this morning and the box they had out was untouched. My DD needed the N-Pop girl and we found her I was nervous we wouldn't because the reviewers all guessed she will be popular so we went on an adventure today. She fits right into her Animal Town, where Minidolls and Mini Figs coexist in harmony. I also got Cole because that is my son's name! I don't really know anything about Ninjago- but my nephews are all too happy to explain things to me. I am going to win Aunt of the Year when they each get a movie set for their upcoming birthdays!

    It seems like a lot of build up to just cancel....new characters and new shows... I love this line and think they are doing really cool things with it.... Elves Advent, anyone?! They could do lots of interesting things with Elves (I mean, arent they really the unsung heros of Santa's whole operation? : ) ) perhaps the could get up to more interesting things that like...idk...require builds??? (sarcasm font.) As a mother of a girl in Lego's target Demo for their female centered lines I can say my daughter is tiring of the Friends characters....she has so, so many copies of Mia. (Introduce some more Friends, for the love!) I have a box of repeats that I keep away from her sets. My daughter was so excited at the prospect of Sophie and more Elves. I hope a previous posters' thoughts were true and the we have a couple more years ahead with story lines relating to the other Elven powers. Unicorns! Merpeople! Other neat imaginative things!

    I couldn't sleep the other night and I kept on thinking of all the ways a DC Superhero girl Advent calendar could be awesome. I know it is slightly off topic but still....Just wanna get that out there. The Friends theme needs a break.

    Now* that* is dedication. My Target had the cmf mixed with other series of cmf. Impressed a 10 year old by feeling out 2 lobster loving Batmans. Not bad for a suburban soccer mom.

    I don't quite get the criticisms about including one character versus another.. while the movie is clearly a love letter to the DC Comics universe... it also is an original plot that none of us have seen so it seems strange to make those sorts of comments when we have no idea about the role they play in the Lego iteration of the Batman Universe.

    I love all these sets...kinda meh about another dragon. Maybe next year they can have some adventures with unicorns. That would send my daughter's heart (and mine,) aflutter.

    So awesome! Ariel's bubble feature is super neat! I also really like how full of depth and levels you have made this! Now I want to buy Lego princess sets in bulk!

    My daughter is watching DC Superhero girls right now... I totally hope one of the mission based sets features Beast Boy and maybe one of his animal forms. We also really like Teen Titans go and it makes me laugh that the same voice actors voice them in age series. And of course, Cyborg!
