I've mentioned these all before, but I'll reiterate my support for a $170-ish Ghost remake. It has to happen next year. It just has to...right? As well as a $200 minifigure-scale (UCS) U-Wing and a $100 minifigure-scale B-Wing. That all seems like a lot of money, and it is, but given LEGO's current pricing, I think that's the only way to do justice to those three ships.

Sorry if someone's already mentioned this, but legofan_33 mentioned that they assumed the CMF would be revealed before the Magical Treasury book. So is there any evidence that the pictures of those CMF figures are actually buried in those unreleased pages somewhere?

Merpeople CMF confirmed! I really need to get a life...

UCS Falcon at long last. Forgive me, for I have sinned! To be fair, it’s a graduation gift, so I’m not the only one paying for it. However, I understand how obscene the price is, and I may still cancel the backorder if I have a change of heart.

LEGO Star Wars 2020 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

UCS MILLENNIUM FALCON, DEATH STAR, AND TANTIVE IV ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR BACKORDER IN THE US. ACT FAST! -
To be fair, we don't know for sure about one of the leakers until we see Diagon Alley and the CMF revealed. Plus, they said they'll be back next year. Sure, they're probably a fraud, but at least they aren't a definitely-fraudulent, reincarnating troll like the other one. And yes, you do need to work on that acronym. I've gotten to the point where I'm just going to enjoy my Privet Drive, Astronomy Tower, and Burrow for now, maybe waste money on a couple Bricklink orders, and patiently wait to see what LEGO has up their sleeve next.

As much as I'm really looking forward to the CMF, my main priority is the reveal of Diagon Alley, which I still fully expect to be my favorite set of all time. Currently, my favorite set of all time is the new Burrow (that thing is just amazing, matched only in detail and beauty by Bag End/An Unexpected Gathering). My guess for both reveals would be anywhere from July 6-31, the thirty-first being the most likely because it's Harry Potter's birthday (and J.K. Rowling's; the "coincidence" seems less and less amusing as time goes on). Oh, well...I have school work to keep me frantically busy until then.

I will never again believe that LEGO shies away from "dark" scenes. They do what they think people want to buy, and in the case of HP, I'm okay with that.

Since the CMF could be revealed in a matter of hours, I'm going to list my predictions for the remaining seven. They may not be original, but they are my own opinion: 1. Harry Potter/Gregory Goyle Polyjuice (accessory: extra hairpiece) 2. Ron Weasley/Vincent Crabbe Polyjuice (accessory: extra hairpiece) 3. Hermione Granger in Gryffindor t-shirt (from Half-Blood Prince Quidditch Match; accessory: yellow bird) 4. Gilderoy Lockhart in pearl-gold robes (accessory: Cornish pixie) 5. Sirius Black (Grimmauld Place suit; accessory: Padfoot) 6. Firenze the Centaur 7. Madame Pomfrey (accessory: Skele-gro) EDIT: I really hope we don't get a cat Hermione...that always struck me as a really weird part of the movie.

Fair enough...

If we do get a CMF reveal tomorrow, is there any standard time for it?

The delusional part of me is expecting a Diagon Alley reveal on Wednesday. I can dream!

Anyone else think there's a good chance that the winking owl from the City Forest Fire set will be reused in Diagon Alley? I was going to order it on Bricks and Pieces, but I figured, "What the heck? I might as well just wait a few months to see if it shows up in the HP line."
-
No offense taken! We will have to agree to disagree on some things (until the set is revealed) but overall you make a lot of valid points. What I tried to include was a list that I thought was 100% possible based on precedent, albeit maybe only 60-or-so% probable.

I would like to see more racial diversity as well, but let’s face it, JK Rowling is not great at writing characters that don’t look like her, and I don’t think any of the characters you mentioned appeared in Diagon Alley in the movies, anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I would LOVE to get Angelina Johnson and Lee Jordan with Quality Quidditch Supplies, but I predict we’ll be getting a very white lineup of figures. I actually think Doris Crockford and Dedalus Diggle are very possible (maybe at the expense of some other figs). I mean, we got the Trolley Witch in the very first wave, so literally anything is possible.

I'm fully expecting a Death Star-worthy complement of figures: Philosopher's Stone (I refuse to call it by the ridiculous American re-title): Harry Potter Rubeus Hagrid (no new figure needed, but a dark brown overcoat would be nice) Professor Quirrell (no new figure needed) Mr. Ollivander (no new figure needed) Tom the Innkeeper Two Gringotts Goblins Chamber of Secrets: Harry Potter Ron Weasley Hermione Granger Molly Weasley Arthur Weasley Percy Weasley Fred Weasley George Weasley Ginny Weasley Gilderoy Lockhart Lucius Malfoy Draco Malfoy Mr. Borgin Half-Blood Prince Harry Potter Ron Weasley Hermione Granger Fred Weasley George Weasley Ginny Weasley Cormac McLaggen Lavender Brown Fenrir Greyback (no new figure needed) Bellatrix Lestrange (no new figure needed, but dress printing would be nice) Narcissa Malfoy That's 30 minifigures, unless I counted wrong, and even though I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment (and maybe making it a pain to view that list on mobile devices) I'd be surprised if we don't get at least most of those. Compare to the 21 minifigures in Cloud City, as mentioned by @TheRandomBlocker and 27 (give or take a few droids) in the 2016 Death Star. But keep in mind that we've gotten far better value in HP thus far than Star Wars has ever given us.

The only problem with a VIP early release is that there won't be any stock left for the September release, because why would anyone NOT want to be a VIP? There's no obligation to do anything other than give information which you would have to give anyway in order to purchase the set. In my opinion VIP early releases are kind of silly, because they're almost the same as general releases (which makes me shudder to think of a paid LEGO VIP system sometime in the future )

Quick, someone hack DK's website!

Yeah, and they only added those images of the summer sets after their official reveal, so I think there's a fair chance that there are some Diagon Alley images hidden in there as well, but we'll see! Quick question: When I try to preorder the book from Amazon in the US, it says "Order now and we'll notify you by email when we have an estimated delivery date for this item." Why would anyone place that order? Does Amazon not know when they'll be in stock? It seems very odd. Does anyone have any experience with that message?

And I'm only 26 years old. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I hope LEGO starts a slow social media campaign build-up like they did for the Falcon. But I guess the two aren't really comparable.
-
I suspect we may see the reveal before the July 7 release of the Magical Treasury book, since it supposedly features Diagon Alley (though that may just be the micro GWP, who knows?) Sorry, I'm so clueless about social media; what platform are we talking about here? I checked @Falconfan1414's Instagram and didn't see anything

I have no idea how I forgot to add that one! Yes, WWW is a must!

Technically the Hogwarts Express from 2010 included both the Flying Car and Luna Lovegood, but that's a fairly minor film crossover. Personally, I really do want Borgin and Burke's. My preferred buildings would be: -Gringotts -Ollivander's -Flourish and Blott's -Quality Quidditch Supplies -Leaky Cauldron -Borgin and Burke's That may be unrealistic, but we'll see. One reason I'd like Borgin and Burke's may be selfish, but it's so that there's no need for anyone to have the 2011 set anymore.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say, sorry if it was unclear. Maybe my wording was just more cautious in case others disagreed, but I absolutely detest the Mickey/Minnie set. I hate old-school Disney, Mickey especially, I hate the price of the set, and the set itself is just... well, ugly. You hit the nail right on the head. Hence why LEGO will need to make way more Alleys than Mice.

Wow, I didn't even know the Crocodile Locomotive existed! Totally went under my radar. The only thing is that Diagon Alley is over twice as large and will surely have over twice as many pieces as Mickey and Minnie, and will surely be more popular (unless I'm just projecting my own taste). I guess we'll see. It'll be a big red flag if either of the two that you mentioned is delayed, though.
