  1. No way it's a big fig or molded with that price point but I am hoping for a good brick built version of the Balrog.
  2. There are pigeons coming in the new city anniversary set. Great new addition to any village/town/city in castle or fantasy settings.
  3. Yeah didn't it happen with maybe one of the Marvel or HP series.
  4. That's interesting. I will be placing an order in the next week or so and it will be interesting to see how this pans out.
  5. There is a feature to make Bilbo disappear. The interior looks good. Still will wait till the 25th for further judgement.
  6. Yeah that's not the solution parents find the app very helpful and most of us Lego fans use it and find what we want.
  7. Yeah plus they may make adjustments to the model and increase the piece count so yeah the price will probably be close to 200
  8. Yeah It was one of the sets I voted for. I really hope the price is around $150 but we will see.
  9. The only animals I've seen in the shire set is a bird and a horse of which we already have molds for so nothing new unless there is something we can't see.
  10. Your missing what I'm saying. this is the set we are getting the set was already in design production etc. This is the final set it's been in boxes already. I'm saying the rumored price of 200 was probably wrong. He was saying the price increase from 200 to 270 could have been the side builds that's not likely as I said the set has already been finalized for some time now they just don't add side builds right before the set releases. The debate of the price increase from 200 to 270 was what he was referring too and I'm saying that just doesn't happen overnight things don't change like that and production can't just switch up like that.
  11. What I'm saying is the side builds were already apart of the build this build has been in design a long time ago. They just didn't decide to put the side builds in last second these sets are already produced and in boxes already and have been for a few months. So what I'm saying is there is no way that's where the supposed 70 dollar increase would come from because the set price was already there. They just didn't add 70 dollars all of a sudden to the price for the side builds. The side builds were already factored into to the original price now if there was a price increase I'm saying it was due to tariff's, tax increases, shipping costs being higher etc.
  12. Nothing new in the shire set.
  13. The side builds have no bearing on the price increase that makes no sense. There obviously was some misinformation out there about the price the build was already done a long time ago so the price increase if there ever was one from 200 to 270 has to do with some other factors like Tariffs, shipping costs, increase in raw materials etc.
  14. I'm wondering if the tariffs are being considered for the pricing for this set or was this the price all along.
  15. I hope so too. This new price is not great.
  16. It's said to be minifig based
  17. I never saw anything about Pippens torso but now that you say it yeah that statue was on there but again that's just a generic torso and not a named character but if they do end up on PAB they will disappear quick like the Nazgul
  18. It's the husband and wife. These prints will likely not end up on PAB. The only recent one we have had was the nazgul and that's just a generic torso print that can be used for many things. Set looks great I have the original so this would be great to get but I still need to get Rivendell and Barad Dur. If the gwp is good may get this day one.
  19. Just look at the sales data on BDP it's right there on the sets when you click on them it shows how much they were supported when they are being crowd funded. All the castle stuff sells out the western stuff does not. The train in series 4 was the closest to being sold out so far.
  20. Yeah this looks bad for the Bond franchise. Look at what Amazon has done to ROP and WOT. I'm not looking forward to Bond going forward.
  21. The beauty of Lego has always been you can create whatever you want and interpret things the way you want to. When I was a kid there wasn't any minifig heads that you could use for a non-human villain/hero so I had to use my imagination to create interesting bad guys. There wasn't much variety in fig heads in the 80's and it was up to you to come up with what you thought your knight, suire, nobleman, princess, queen, king, peasant, etc looked like. If you like more male knights you can make make them if you want your army more female you can do that. Today there is so many options for minifig heads and parts. There are so many different creatures like in the DnD series and a lot of different species in Ninjago and Monkie kid the possibilities now are endless.
  22. 5 figs sounds good to me can't wait to see what the new faction will look like.
  23. There were plenty of army builders in the early days too. Myself included many of the fantasy and castle figs were scarce even back then.
  24. Here in Connecticut the lego store in Danbury had the reddish orange brick suit and the February figures. I'm not really interested in the brick suit guy but I did find some other fig parts like the wizard and lion knight legs that I ended up getting along with the hermit crab.
  25. Not really it looks more like a Bull shark to me.
