You're right. I did go through a stage where I hated the track links but with all the practice from those on the BWE I think we could become freinds. Thank you. The 42065 will just be a quick build and then it's on to the 8275 which I'm very much looking forward to. More links -

Build Day 1 - Days build time 3hrs / Total build time 3hrs Firstly, apologies to those expecting to see the 8275, it'll definately be next. Jake, George & Penny bought me the 42065 for my birthday and during our stay in LEGOLAND a week or so ago they saw one in the shop and wanted to know why I'd not built theirs yet. Feeling guilty (and rightly so) I told them I'd build it when we got home. I needed to build it soon for an upcoming project so I guess now's as good a time as any. So far the 42065 has been a nice, simple little build. It's repetitive but on a model like this I expect that. I'll build it as per the instructions to see how it goes then I'll chuck in a BuWizz unit to see the difference it makes. If nothing else it might help it keep a little dignity when up against the rampaging Dirt Crushers & Outdoor Challenger that Jake & George want to run it against . -
42083 - Bugatti Chiron
grum64 replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As the Chiron has prompted many to say they'll buy the Porsche instead, buyers in the UK might be interested to know that it's available at Argos for Β£159.99. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6074315.htm?cmpid=APP003 Moderators please move this if, in your infinite wisdom, you think it belongs elsewhere. -

I like this a lot, itβll be a day one purchase for sure but a question. Is it me or does that rear rim stand rather too proud from the tyre wall? -

Not keen on what I think is the wing mirror mount but will reserve judgement on the rest of the car until I get to see it in its entirety. -
Wondered why I hadn't seen any updates for a little while. Glad you had a good holiday. The build's coming on a treat & with the lighting it looks great

The 8275 is one of my very favourite sets. I built it several years ago but with no shed to keep/display my builds in I sold it. Instant regret. Luckily a short while later I saved one from the ignominy of being parted out to Bricklink. It cost me the princely sum of a 8053 and 8295 which to me made it a bargain. -

Don't think this'll be finding its way onto my To Buy list.
