Another nice one! Great to see some awesome bionical work that can put most of us to shame
  2. Nice debut! It's super slick and sexy - excellent work! Welcome to EB~!
  3. You might be able to get a grey one relatively cheaply come January when the new Batman sets come out. It might not be the exactly the same print but it may be close! Good luck.
  4. Thanks! I'm glad you liked the look/colour and the greebles. I had a lot of 'space' to work with on this moc, cause I had to hide some of the mechanics, and I actually spent a lot of time trying different amounts of 'greeble' and some colour schemes to be interesting but not take away too much from the action. Good to know it was worth the effort

Woh that's totally awesome. It's funny as a non technic/bionical guy it's kinda hard figuring out what the scale of that tank is... and when you popped it open and saw the minifig, i realized it was a lot bigger than it seemed! very cool moc with great play-ability features. I wish lego sold nice technic sets like this

    Experiments

Haven't seen the movie, but that's fantastically built, designed, lit, and photographed MOC! Well done.
  7. Are you going to post more with the Ninja Death Pixie? Does the door open up? It looks like it might have some sideways play-action but I can't really tell. And why is everyone bald?
  8. Nice! It's got a beefy 'don't mess with me' feel to it. Might I ask what you used for lighting?
  9. Thanks! I actually have a version 2 planned out – sadly this does not function well over 8 hours public displays – so I’m going to rework it to be more stable – and going to add lots of improvements, like a bigger base! I have some ideas of what to put on the base – but what would you like to see? haha it’s been awhile i’m getting rusty with my late night sales pitches! But shipping and handling is the killer – it fell apart the first time I tried to move it Don’t forget you can get it for just 5 easy installments of 999,999.99! Call now!
  10. Nice castle! The repetitive use or the arches has a nice systematic-symmetrical look to it. The front has a real umph feel to it - not a castle to be trifled with. I like the tree... though if I was a dragon Knight (and god willing, I will be some day), I`d climb up it and hop over the rampart
  11. Thanks. I admit I had a lot of fun writing the description and belting it out in my best announcer voice as i wrote it Thanks! Did you contact the operators? I said they were standing by! Errr... well the machine is automated. but you need the LGM for maintenance and feeding the machine. (not to mention ewok/wookie powered!) Yeah that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Actually the AC aren't in LGM uniforms... but I did make them all blue to be consistent
  12. Well who’s winning? For sets I kinda intuitively know what I have (not to mention the instruction booklets), and with the exception of some of the starwars stuff they will (eventually) be dismantled and funneled into MOCs. A bigger problem I’m facing is keeping track of Bricklink purchases and building supplies, more than once I bought xyz and cause it was a ‘good price’ only to realize I have a huge stockpile of xyz or even have xyz already coming in the mail! I used to have a spreadsheet but it wasn’t really useful outside of keeping a history of how much i spent :P And now that I’m actually pumping out more and more MOCs, I find that keeping an eye on what I have readily available is a new twisted problem – I remember I had lots of xyz, but when it comes time to build something, I realize I just used xyz last week on something else! Oy!
  13. I really really like these guys! Excellent combo. Very worthy of guarding your king!
  14. Nice shape. Great colours. AWESOME GREEBLING. I love it.

  16. Lovely build. The landscaping is fantastic and flows around the castle nicely. well done!
  17. Absolute beauty! I had the pleasure/honor of guarding the castle (so to speak) at brickfete. I only wished I knew more about it (you couldn't provide that little blurb to me ?) so that I could tell everyone exactly what the castle was - it wasn't later after public day did I learn more of the details. I can certainly say that this was (along with the landscape scenes) where a lot of people (more so adults) stood and just marveled at the size and detail of it all, especially when you started actually removing the panels to show all the inside. The sheer brilliance of the modularity is stunning to see. I just want to grab some pop corn and watch as you put it all together - it's a bit like watching ballet - except not boring. [it was also one of my top 2 favorite things at brickfete, shhhh don't tell the spacers]
  18. hehe opps, Thanks Though I meant I never played the game so I'm not sure exactly how the shock troopers are suppose to look like, I knew they were from Halo But yeah, I think I'll get some anyways, they look pretty fantastic and would complement well against other custom parts there! so count me in.
  19. Wow, I read this book years ago, and I remember the world quite well... but I honestly don't remember the end of the book. I remembered it was 'good' but I don't remembered what happened I guess it's time to put on the re-read list oh and I (and many others I assume) am currently reading a Song of Ice and Fire series (and planning out LEGO recreations of the locals )
  20. Looking sharp! I like the new shock trooper designs, even though I'm not familiar with the source material, they look great and would be a cool additional to any sci-fi armies.
  21. Get the wife to help sort! it's a 'together' time!
  22. I hope they put out a special collectors 3 set of these (in plastic). Really neat. hehe first 'man' on jupiter

    Canadian Eh?

Thanks everyone for the kind words, It was great meeting some of you, and chatting with everyone: young, old, noob, and vet! I just love talking about LEGO! And thanks everyone to coming out and supporting Canada's first LEGO Con! Speaking of Moose and hard to put together, even Dan -Brickmania had problems, so everyone is in good company And yeah... I think I'll finally have to upgrade my flickr account to get 200+ pics - though I didn't get many pictures
  24. Great to meet you too Toadtorrent, As well as everyone else, It's really nice to put some faces to the people on here. I no longer picture everyone as a classic smiley face Hehe. you could have tried, you'd need a good sized SUV or van... plus about 2 hours to pack it up

Can't wait to see (some) of you guys today. I'll be on the second floor - in the SCI-FI section. I'll be in Red! (not to be confused with the other guy in red near the viking ship-train)
