  1. I currently strugle with the inner light grey ellipse. Front and back of the smaller outer part is different. I think the front has two tiles attached (2x2, 1x2) where the back seems to have a technic piece. But I dunno how it's assembled. Any idea?
  2. I completed the outer 36 teeth thingy and the inner yellow one that transports the balls (except of the missing red balls and the tires). Next will be the light grey connector and then the inner light gray "turntable". If someone has started as well it would be great to see some images of the inner light gray part that supports the transport of the balls. Dunno yet how to built this one. The rest seems to be pretty straight forward thanks to the images akiyuki provided.
  3. Need the number of another part :) The inner circle that holds the balls has 32 tires. Whats the number of the rubber of them?
  4. This is an awesome module. I just need to build this. Already completed the outer "stargate" piece. Regarding the 36 red "teeth". Does anyone know its part number?
  5. Same for me with the iPad. Page says loading and then just stays greyed out.
  6. Interesting, not quite the same though. Different tires, different steering. But for USD 110 it's pretty cheap for over 2800 pieces and remote control. From the image the set is suposed to include one Servo, 2 L-Motors one infrared remote control and the classic battery pack.
  7. I vote for the revovery truck. But in the end it's your build and you should just create what you like the most ;)
  8. Here's my improved version. The connection of the up/down mechanism was improved. The rest stays the same. Overall height is increased because more space was required in order to improve the stability of the mechanism within the module. Therefore the moving up/down axles needed to be replaced by longer ones. Added two additional axles each in order to support up/down movement of the vertical 5L piece. Also Improved the two steppers by adding some bushes. A view from the bottom which shows how the overall 4 additional axles are secured. Please test and give feedback. Regards, Thomas
  9. Found some time to further work on the moc. Here's what changed: Decided to play a bit with a different track which is a tad longer and higher Reworked the bucket mechanism Prototyped a smaller bucket (guees it could be wider) Moved one of the motors directly on top of the front arm since the torque was to much from the main chassis even for an L-Motor. Removed the gray lego peaces on the arm and replaced them with yellow ones. Replaced the M-Motors with L-Motors Still don't like the chassis. Guess it's too wide. But it has to wait until I'm done with the other track. Here some images of it...
  10. Thanks, djm! Just built it as well. As already mentioned before it's quite fragile. The axle tend to pop out from time to time. Didn't find a proper solution fot it yet. Update: Found a possible solution if it's allowed to increase the hight of the module by two studs (or at least 1). Is that ok?
  11. I used the one for VOLVO L350F Wheel Loader 42030. Here you have one controller for both steering and acceleration and a dedicated knob for the lights. But you could as well use one with dedicated sliders for steering and acceleration.
  12. Why do they initially (out-of-the-box) only support the older WeDo sensors now that Lego upgraded them to version 2.0. That's a flaw in my opionion. Could it be that they need money to fix the Firmware and the support of the older sensors was an easy catch? Just guessing :)
  13. While I think the SBrick Plus has a lot of potential I will wait until it's done. Especially the software part will take quite some time as we learned from the normal SBrick. I wished that the SBrick Plus would have support for WeDo 2.0 out of the box and not just "maybe later". I hoped they would've developed a strong rechargable battery pack to support SBricks. We'll keep an eye on it though :)
  14. Had the same problem with Firmware and Battery both reported being 0 as @jaaptechnic reported. This happened after upgrading to the latest version of the SBrick iOS App. Luckily I had another iOS device with an older version so it was possible to upgrade the Firmware. After that I reconnected the SBrick the the latest version of the App and then performed another Firmware upgrade. After that all is fine so far. But did not upgrade to iOS 10. Reported this issue weeks ago. So maybe it's just a Firmware issue and all would be fine if the SBrick would have the latest Firmware? But that would be something the manufacturer needs to resolve. Maybe they send you a replacement to test this theory. Did you try to run the App with a brand-new SBrick?
  15. Even better, thanks. Now I can choose between the "old" and the improved version :)
  16. Now it's way better. Really cool. Thumbs up :) Will you post the changes to the original instructions?
  17. Just tried and the PDFs download fine.
  18. Really nice model and thanks for the instruction. I agree though with the comment of @M_longer about the wheel sticking out f the chassis. Dunno though if the chassis should be wider or the wheels should be placed more inside.
  19. As stated above the bucket wheel arm will be modified. @Gabi: This beast looks awesome so far. Keep up the geat work. Also like your renderings. @mario64: please do not quote the whole post with all the images, thanks.
  20. Seems I overpowered my SBricks by adding two additional lights to the already existing 3 lights on the same port. I now connected the two additional head lights to the empty port and since then I don't have any problems anymore with controlling the SBricks. Here's a photo showing the two additional head lights. I think it really looks way cooler now :-)
  21. Just completed it and I have to say again what a wonderful moc this is. A very clever steering mode mechanism. And in my opinion the look is even better than the original. The only problem I have is that the SBricks seems to shut down themselves (lights go off, lost connectivity) after a period of time with the lights on. Do you experience the same?
  22. Challenge accepted! Avtoros I'm coming :-)
