"Why? They'll be able to see at the same time that they'll wake up, so it'd be smart if most of us tried to handle the most vicious foes whilst they can't hit back!" Haldor hits the Roc from the front row.
-
Haldor draws his sceptres and swings at Aeryponis B when it draws close. "Put me last in the order, case I manage to get off a ritual!"
-
Haldor felt for his weapons. "Do I get to kill her?"
-
Pfft. Haldor played that card all the way back in Quest #19, although Guts nearly killed him for doing so.

I think that the climatic dragon scene with the dwarves added a great deal to the film. Think about it, in the book, after all of the reputation of the dragon built up by the dwarves and their hate for him made clear, it's a bit of a disappointment that none of them ever get to see him alive. Bilbo sneaks into the mountain, chats with Smaug who then flies off to torch Laketown. Thorin never gets anywhere near the foe he despises, and that isn't good. Peter Jackson tried to remedy a fault in the narrative, and didn't do too badly at it.

Which of LEGO's existing Phase I/Clone Wars Clone Troopers would be the best to use as a computer operator/technician? -
I don't think that this is CMP's fault. Certain people unfortunately don't seem to be paying attention in a game that seems to me really rather simple. In the nicest possible way, it would be great if those people could concentrate a little more so we can this this over with and move on with the quest.

"Oh, I'd love to take you up on that. I guess you've got important business to handle right now, but I can see you later, right? It's been great talking with you." Haldor smiled one last time and turned to the nearest other leader. "But surely you'd rather fight for a cause you believed in, mate? Loyalty is one thing, but fightin' great wars on somebody else's whim and not knowin' why... that can't be what you want. You want to fight for the honour of your people, not for the hot-headedness of a couple of un-elected kings. Who could blame you for that?" He tries to influence Garohn chaotically.
-
What action would you recommend Haldor take?
-
It's 2014 here as of twenty minutes ago.
-
I absolutely loved the reprisal of Peter Jackson's carrot-eating man as the first thing we see in the film.
-
Haldor influences Bastala Chaotically and guesses that she is chaotic good. "Damn right. Glad to hear some sense being spoken for once, you seem to realise that it's possible to not just go all-in all the time, keep things back in reserve. People I've dealt with, recently on a ship over just these days past, our captain seemed to think you're either with someone or against them. Black and white tactics. But the world ain't like that. You know what you're doing, you actually get how to plan a show. From where I'm standing right here, you should be in charge. I'd rather you than some battle-hungry war-mongering brute like Marga over there. Better than twice what her head's bringing to the table, better to look at too." He breathed deeply as the orc wrapped a slender arm around him. "There anything you can't do, my lady?"
-
No, BrickG is right. Tolkein clarified in many of his later works that Orc is the 'correct' name for goblins in his universe, and that he began using that word to differentiate from traditional goblins of folklore. He continued to use the word goblin as a corruption, however. Think of it as similar to how the Middle-Earth human race is known only as 'Men'.

"You clearly know more about it than me, or the other clan leaders here for that matter. You seize the bridge, makes it clear to the kingdoms that war ain't what you're looking for, but that you're not going to let them walk over you from then on. But what about these other leaders? Would they just roll over and let you do it? A internal conflict could really screw things up." He sighed. "Never had politics like this back home. People died, but here, there's so much more too it. Don't reckon I could cope in your position, it takes some smart thinking to run this kind of show, I don't know how you do it. You've got strength like no other, miss. You know what needs do be done." The nord smiled. "With respect, miss, I like you too." Haldor tries to influence Bastala in a good way, whilst also guessing that she is lawful good.
-
Haldor keeps trying to influence Bastala, this time lawfully. He also guesses that she is a true neutral. "Sounds as though you know what's what in these parts, I appreciate you helping me out, I really do. You see, this is my first time in Baltarok, but it looks as though I couldn't have found a smarter guide to show me the ropes. This bridge, though, everyone seems to think that it'll bring more harm than good, that's it's all just a High Kingdoms plan to kick folks in the teeth once again. What about you? What do you think? Something tells me that your word means a lot more than half of the rabble shouting about in here." He looked around to see that no-one was watching him and grinned. "In my humble little opinion, some expert that I am, that Marga don't have a clue what she's talking about. Call me blind, but I can't see nothing but a smooth green sea, hell, I could lose myself there. There ain't nothing wrong with you. Well, not that I can pick out from this far away, unless you want me to take... a closer look, miss." Haldor smiled playfully.

Haldor guesses Chaotic Neutral for Bastala.

May I ask why the Italian army is wearing Spanish Conquistador armour? -
Haldor pushed his way through the crowd until he neared the lightly-skinned Bastala, hoping to influence her in a good manner. "Hail there, missy. Mind if I talk? That is if my inferior norse and human presence don't repulse you too much. Are these meetings always so... enthusiastic? I reckon you've been to a fair few of the things, strong, capable girl like you is bound to know what's what. Since you seem to handle yourself so confidently, do you reckon you could fill me in on some of the other folks we've got here? You know, who are the type to likely knock my block off just for stepping near? And who is as reasonable and accepting as you? D'you get what I'm saying? I'd rather not have to waste time pissing off a bloke for my humanity when I could be spending it cheerfully with a delightful and authoritative leader who deserves my respect." He adopted what he imagined to be a winning smile.

For Christmas my family gave me the most recent AT-TE, the also recent AT-RT, the new Tank Droid and the TOR battle pack. I'm extremely pleased, especially with the AT-TE. Although there is little floor space, the panels provide excellent coverage and it wouldn't take much modification to create and interior.

Dear Fabian, We haven't met in a good time, enjoy yourself over this period be sure to stock up on goods for my return. Here's a rather exotic gladiator's helmet that I picked up in a far-off land, I reckon it would look good lying on your shelf for customers to admire. Make yourself a nice profit in the honour of your favourite nord. Wishes, -Haldor -
Resist the urge to just buy every set that has nice minifigures, I'm going to try and pick one or two themes and buy only sets from those.
