  1. On the initial hat, perhaps, as the previous rubbings and chemical-ings may have had an effect. I went straight to the eraser for later parts and the results were equally successful, however.
  2. "We'll be back with his head. See you later, Antony." Harder then leads the group back towards the inn to tell the owner their good news, and start work on cleansing the city
  3. Just hit 3000 posts... Crikey, I spend too much time on this site,

  4. "Some of our boys also told me of how he liked to take part in some heavy piracy near the Abra desert, going so far as to attack their ship in an effort to loot its contents."
  5. "Right now, the slimy bloke`s operating a prostitution gang in your lovely little town, as Romulus discovered first-hand. He can probably tell you more about it than me. In through past he's been wanted for murder and other such nefarious deeds. Believe me, Bacaright is a bad man."
  6. The eraser that I used was just a simple soft all-rubber one, like in our the picture. To my knowledge the pieces are no less glossy than before. I`d recommend testing this method for yourself on cheaper parts, however.[
  7. Awesome idea to celebrate the amazing building talent that we have here In our game community - good luck to all who enter! Hopefully this will also encourage the many likeminded individuals on Eurobricks to take the plunge in joining the Rpg. EDIT: Woah, that was an interesting spelling mistake, courtesy of my phone.
  8. "Well hello there, Antony. We are friends of Brutus here in the city on a job. We have reason to believe that a notorious git named Bacari is staying in the inn just down this way. We`ll be needing a warrant in order to take the bastard`s head off once and for all; as he has done much wrong to our organization. Are you willing to give us a hand here? I'm sure that our mutual friend has made you aware of our purpose, and so the removal of this criminal in your midst can hardly hurt our quest, and your future." He winks.
  9. Haldor interupts. "No, that plan is folly. How do you think we would be able to explain the battle noise - and the fact that we've all disappeared without leaving the front door? This man is not an idiot, we must go and speak to the town watch, it is the only sensible thing to do." The nord then turns to the bar owner himself. "Thank you for your patience, friend, we shall return with the watch's permission to rid this establishment of its criminal occupants. Goodbye for now." He then leads the group back outside, along the street and into the watch building, if no-body objects.
  10. A note to those involved with Quest #80: Tomorrow I shall be embarking on a jolly Irish holiday for ten days or so. During this time I will do my best to leech off whatever Wi-Fi I can find to post as much as possible, but there may be times where I cannot be online more than once per day. Thank you for your patience.
  11. Hello there, fine ladies and gentlemen of Eurobricks! Yesterday I discovered a most interesting trick for the removal of all kinds of prints in a jiffy, and without any of these extravagant and expensive chemicals such as Brasso. It all began when I found myself forcing a member of my ship's crew to try on various bicorne hats to see which fitted him the best. I thought to myself "Hmm, I wonder how this chap would look wearing a plain, black bicorne - if only I owned such a thing..." Well, I do own many black bicorne hats, but they all unfortunately are printed with white skull and cross-bones designs. I selected the one with the worst-looking 1980s print and set about trying to remove it. I tried everything, from chemicals to hot water, and even resorted to just scratching the darn thing. But it was no use, the printing just would not budge! A very exasperated Scorpiox soon decided that he would try everything in his limited power to achieve his goal, and would under no circumstances give up. Many, many hours later, I found myself rubbing away a common eraser in an effort to finally get rid of the printing. And, lo and behold, it worked! After only a few minutes of elbow grease, the eraser succeeded where all other methods had failed. So, there you have it, folks. All you need to remove printing from any piece that you desire is this: Plus a reasonable amount of effort. I hope that this proves to be of help.
  12. "My friend speaks the truth. We have history with this man Bacari. Trust me, he's not the sort of bloke you want staying in your inn. If you were to call the watch and tell them that you don't want us to arrest this man, they could very well... misinterpret things. The last thing an upstanding citizen, such as you, needs is the guards mistaking you for a friend of Signor Bacari - the internationally wanted bastard." Haldor smiles in what he thinks is a comforting way.
  13. "Bacari? I remember him, albeit faintly. Where is he? Sounds like we're going to have to put the beggar down." Haldor motions for the other heroes to prepare themselves. "Lead on, Romulus. Take me to this Signor Bacari."
  14. Haldor grasps Romulus sharply by his shoulders. "What's going on? Do you need help? Is there danger?" Haldor reaches behind his back with one hand and quietly draws his axe.
  15. He pats Romulus on the back. "Aye, take care of yourself, lad. See you back here in a little while." Haldor then steps forwards and speaks to the bar owner. "Sir, my friends and I have come far and wide in search of work. What kind of jobs do you think fine folks like us could handle in this city?"
  16. Haldor steps aside as the man comes pushing past. "What's up with him?" The nord begins heading towards the inn door after the man. He pushes the door open with one arm and calls back to the party as he does so. "Let's see if we can't make a start with our reputation-getting, maybe even some drinks and fine women while we're at it."
  17. "Thank you, friend, you words have been of great help to me and my allies. We'll go and check out this tavern and see what we can learn." He turns and gestures towards the inn with his hand, indicating that the others should follow him. "Come on, this way!" But as he is nearing the pub's entrance, Haldor notices a shady-looking character standing close by and decides to speak with him. "Greetings, sir. I am a mercenary from far away, travelling with this group in search of work." The nord points to the other heroes in turn. "This is our first time in the city. What can you tell me about this place, and the kind of jobs I would be able to pick up?"
  18. Wow, awesome scene, Captain! "Before we start making any serious plans, perhaps we ought to see what the locals are thinking." Haldor makes his way over to the tramp sitting crossed-legged in the middle of the street. He drops a coin into the man's lap as he does so. "Hail, stranger. Me and my friends here are travelling mercenaries, I was wondering if you would be able to tell us what's what in the city. Who's in charge, what kind of bloke he is, that kind of thing."
  19. The Wolverine: I've never been much of a fan of X-Men nor ever seen one of their films - but I ended up watching this with a friend and enjoyed it very much. I found the plot interesting and the action exciting, definitely one worth watching and with no obvious major flaws.
  20. If it's just a case of Skrall in-character asking Amma to change her plans, I can't see anything that could possibly be wrong with that.
  21. Haldor nods his head respectfully. "Thank you, Brutus, we will not fail you." He then turns around to face the other heroes, rubbing his hands together in anticipation. "Better get started then, eh? Looks as though we're dealing with a bloke that's let power go to his head, got some nice guards on him and won't let nobody come near enough to cave in his skull. Should be fun." The nord takes hold of the map provided by Brutus and takes a long, careful look at the various locations in the city. "Right... I reckon that we'd be best off checking out the forum before we do anything else. Forums are places where the wise men talk, right? I can't think of a better place to begin our quest." He pauses. "Is there anything worth seeing at the wall, Brutus? If not, we should probably get going. The forum first, if you're all happy with that."
  22. "Aye, glad to hear that, mister Unth'or. If you're looking for spare equipment, you're welcome to borrow these Pugilist's Gloves of mine for the duration of our venture. Should help you to hit a bit harder." "What kind of welcome should we be expecting? By the looks of it, we've got the army on our side; but what about the people themselves? We gonna have to lay low?"
  23. Haldor follows the soldier out into the streets and over to Eubric's seaport, finishing the last of his ale as he walks. After finally reaching the particular boat that would take the heroes to their destination, the nord turns to address his unfamiliar colleges. "Alright, so you're the gentlemen - and lady, that'll be serving under me for this particular venture. Fine folks you look to be too. I trust that we can depend on you to do your jobs." He props himself up on a nearby wall and begins to sharpen his axe, glancing at the others every so often. "Ready when you are, comrades."

  25. I've just had a thought: what if Atramor had special mirrored Wren's Chaos in Eubric spell?
