I think what we're seeing is the warehouses are starting to ship the sets out, but very few stores (let alone areas) have them yet. It seems the midwest got them, but I didn't see anything on the east coast in the areas I checked. I bet another week or so it will be more widely available (though still not for sale) if it indeed is going to be for sale end of November.

EV has already been discounted on amazon US recently. With Lego removing the ban on sales on exclusives I think it's an even bet that you'll see EV or SC discounted before they're gone. I fully expect to pick up AOH at at least a 50% discount before it retires.

I would say that statement is more true of the other lego licensed products as at least SW has several (numerous?) well known vehicles. Regardless, I think obscure figures will always be more desirable than vehicles or settings to collectors (which I imagine most AFOLs ultimately are).

Snowglobe is black friday (nov 25-28), with VIP release 19-20.

Second (and third?!) set(s) aside, I'm intrigued to see the changes to the snowspeeder. I thought 10129 was pretty perfect and I'm not sure how much better it can be made, cockpit hatch aside. If they do something expected with the other slot (because at this point everyone expects either another falcon or ISD right?) then they'll have redeemed themselves.

I'm in the same boat you are (at least in terms of knowledge of LDD and whatnot), so there may be other options. However: http://www.brickulus.com It allows you to upload a LXF file and it will generate a parts list (with corresponding bricklink parts codes). Note that several items are not translating from LDD to BL for some reason, so you'll have to go into LDD and put that part number into the search box to see what it is. I've only tested it with the text output (Simple List) so I can't comment on how useful the other formats are.

Without seeing the movie I don't know how you can make that assumption (re: funhouse). I don't expect lbm to be as wild as tlm but it could be anything at this point.

The Santa snow globe is one of them; I thought the elves would be based on the prelim packaging having the blacked-out banner but they're a regular release so I am starting to doubt a second set. That holiday countdown calendar seems to have taken its spot.

There is one store that has 9/30 listed (Columbus indiana), man that is unfortunate. Hoping to get to a store or two tomorrow myself. Will see what happens!
