Sonic the Hedgehog - Rumours and Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nope, that’s all we know Not counting on any new characters. I still think Blaze and Cream are the most likely due to their body shapes, but Silver may already have eaten up all of this year’s budget. Send him back to the future made of fire. -

The smaller set is rumoured to be Tail’s Tornado-1! The 2023 set was a different Tornado, right? -

Sure, the target group is clearly millennials, but the fans that grew up with Gens 2-4 are also millenials, and those who were kids when Gens 5 and 6 came out are also adults now -

Oh yes, Pokémon fans can be almost as crazy as Star Wars fans, if not more so I don’t wanna contribute to that, my wish is just that they give all Gens some love ^^ -

According to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat, we’re getting 4 18+ sets this summer, as 2 sets have previously been mislabelled as 6+ and 12+. Fingers crossed they’re not all from Gen I Mewtwo and Gyarados are almost guaranteed I’d say, but please let the others be from any other Gen -

Must‘ve slipped through the cracks, but there is another upcoming set, 77120 for $50 ^^ (source: jedijacpenguin) 2 sets sounds about right! Fingers crossed for a new character, but if the last summer wave is any indication, we shouldn‘t get our hopes up Super Silver anyone? -

@Bloquerto: Nice list! No Igaram though, and two Smokers is a bit overkill Also, not sure how likely Dr Hiriluk is, given he’s a Not 100%, but last year we knew about the Baratie’s set number from the get-go. It’s possible a D2C set is still in the cards, but I doubt it at this point -

Oh, I didn't know know that! Well that increases the chances a bit! That would mean no Whiskey Peak set though, and I can't imagine them omitting Miss Wednesday, Mr. 9, Igaram, and Miss All Sunday -

I like the idea, but Mr 5 and Miss Valentine don’t appear in the Little Garden arc, do they? If ranked by likelihood, I’d put them in this order: Mr 3 and Miss Goldenweek kinda have to be in the Brogy & Dorry set as the main antagonists of that arc. Miss Wednesday is very important story-wise and since Whiskey Peak is very likely to have one of the sets dedicated to it, she’s bound to show up along with Mr 9. Miss All Sunday is also crucial, but they could easily save her for S3 sets. If Igaram, Mr 5, and Miss Valentine appear depends on the size of the Whiskey Peak set. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s actually the $100 set, in which case we could get lucky! Miss Monday doesn’t appear to have too much screentime, so she’s not particularly likely. I’ll put Mr 13 and Miss Friday at the bottom because they’d both require new pieces. I would love to have them, but that’s out of the budget I’m afraid. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if Drum Castle was actually the $60 set to allow for more Baroque Works agents to get minifigs. If we get Chopper, Wapol, and Dr Kureha, I’ll already be satisfied ^^ The arc to get shafted this time like Syrup Village for the S1 sets is definitely Reverse Mountain. Laboon can’t be done justice with a small set -
Lego One Piece rumors and discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Battlinpanther's topic in LEGO Licensed
Now that Miss Monday is also confirmed to appear in S2 (probably in a smaller role since we haven’t seen nearly as much of her as the other Baroque Works agents), I really wonder how many of them we can expect in these sets. Mr 3 and Miss Goldenweek have a good chance of being included in the Giants set. The $100 set is probably the one based on the Drum Island arc, so definitely none in that one, leaving the $30 and $60 sets, plus Garp’s ship. The larger one could be based on the Whiskey Peak arc, but there are so many characters here and presumably only like 4-5 minifigs in the set, and we need some heroes too. The $30 set could be based on Loguetown, so an easy Buggy repeat plus Alvida. Garp’s ship probably comes with Garp, Smoker, Tashigi, and a few of the Strawhats, so no chance. Wouldn’t make much sense to have them here anyway. Doesn’t look all that promising, unless they go all out on the $60 set or have that and the $30 one both be based on Whiskey Peak. At least that means they should have enough material for a wave to fill the gap between S2 and S3 -
Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion

A picture of the Tom Nook paperbag has been found! Nothing too special as expected, but it‘s nice to get him in such a cheap set, plus more bell and fossil prints are always welcome! -
The Dragon Ball display set rumour got corroborated by other sources too, so it’s safe to assume it’s actually coming Personally, I hope for a set based on the OG Show rather than Z or the follow-ups, because it’s the only one I’ve actually watched back in the day Kinda funny how they retired Monkie Kid, only to release a set based on a licensed counterpart the year after Since it sounds like an Icons set, I hope for Shenlong with the 7 dragon balls plus young Goku.

Pics of the Snoopy set are out! I love how they expanded the submission by adding the dog house and having the starry background in a foldable form! Such a clever idea! The new feather / grass element might come in very handy too ^^ -
Latest news about Lego animal moulds
BrickBob Studpants replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Had the animals been printed, the only way to interpret this set would be that a maniacal giant stuffed either living or taxidermied animals into his treasure cabinet The lack of printing makes them look like statues or models ^^ Of course one can then ask why the cabinet includes animals in the first place, but this seems to be a selection of parts a lot of AFOLs like to collect (gems, crystals, armour, weapons, animals, etc).- 5,845 replies

Latest news about Lego animal moulds
BrickBob Studpants replied to Roebuck's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Since we don’t have plant or food item threads, I’ll bring it up here Upcoming sets also introduce cherries in four new colours (tan, olive green, bright light blue, and what I think is azure?) Quite impressive number of recolours for a piece that had very few for decades!- 5,845 replies

Any of the these 3 cartoon themes could easily get an 18+ set, but that’s not my point ^^ My point is it’s unlikely they would only get an 18+ set and nothing else (besides BrickHeadz perhaps). Sure, other themes that had playsets in the past have returned with 18+ sets and little else, like LotR and PotC, but I can’t imagine SpongeBob or ATLA going down the same route. A wave of regular playsets for kids and an 18+ set for millennials would make way more sense!

I changed my mind and started to work on an entry anyway! And no, it’s not another Blue Eyes White Dragon -
And it’s been officially revealed now too! Well that was a short-lived leak

I don’t think it makes sense to open a separate thread for it, so I’ll put it here The Project Hail Mary set has just leaked! Looks good!

The otter set has leaked! Not as cute as the original submission, but they added a baby to make up for that ^^ Also, I think they should’ve stuck to a river otter rather than a sea otter, but that’s just my preference -

BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I have read the Yu-Gi-Oh manga back in the day (when it was about all sorts of games) and have seen a handful of episodes of the anime, so I‘m not familiar enough to create an entry, otherwise I would‘ve done so Excited to see what people will come up with! -
It has been suggested before and would fit well, but in that case I‘d be a bit miffed about the whole „returning theme“ rumour. Dimensions doesn‘t count Also, what relevance does Portal have right now? It‘s not like a third game is right around the corner!
-
Now that we know that the returning theme is „P“ with a $160 18+ set, I‘m kinda stumped. If Stonewars were correct with classifying it as a gaming theme, the only options are Overwatch, Pac-Man, or Atari, but the latter two had Icons sets before, which wouldn‘t fit with the set number, and the former has no chance of returning amidst all the controversies. People have also suggested Horizon, apparently forgetting the last set came out less than a year ago This makes me think Stonewars were mistaken and it‘s not a gaming IP after all. But which theme would return with nothing but an 18+ set? This fits neither SpongeBob, ATLA, nor TMNT.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
BrickBob Studpants replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The number of people I‘ve seen online who seemingly have no clue how a contest works is depressing They just read the headline „LEGO Yu-Gi-Oh“ and comment nonsense like „hurr durr, $600 Blue Eyes White Dragon, no minifigs“. I know A LOT of people only read headlines and draw all their conclusions from that alone, but come on, this is ridiculous! *rant over* A minifig series might be in the cards (pun wholeheartedly intended), but there has been exactly ONE contest like this before, which is not enough to establish a pattern -
Huh, „Lollipop“ is KPDH after all? Brickmerge claimed 72537 was the Olivia Rodrigo set, and now Maxbautde says it‘s Derpy & Sussie! More sets are coming in 2027!
