  1. There is a BrickHeadz thread, but it’s pretty much abandoned, so I’d say it’s fair to post here! I really appreciate the Turtles all having different shades of green to differentiate them more! I also like that they’re not based on any specific iteration, yet capture the essence of each of them
  2. Not sure if I would rank it quite that highly myself (top 15 or even top 10 material for sure though), but it's definitely a very well-made set that stands out among the crowd And yes, that is one of the best light brick integrations I've ever seen in a set, rivaled only by the Disney 100 projector GWP and a similar feature in a recent Friends set. The fact the window panels for that feature are all printed, just like they were in the other sets, adds a lot of value too!
  3. Not for a lack of trying The recycled materials reportedly didn’t meet their standards. The switch to paper bags however has been successful, with some sets here and there still having plastic bags, but like 90% of the sets I bought since the switch do feature them.
  4. I’d say the existence of a M:SL set is big enough news for a separate update!
  5. I'd say it was already heavily implied to exist thanks to the 2026/27 list Nice to have some further confirmation though!
  6. Must've missed it. Was that a separate post, or did he write that in a comment? Incredibly exciting, if so, because a M:SL set would almost be guaranteed to feature at least one new character!
  7. There are so many characters they could still do like Tom Nook's nephews, the missing Able sisters, or ANY of the seasonal / visiting characters! And of course, Crazy Redd. I NEED HIM. Speaking of whom: Never gonna happen, but how awesome would it be to have miniature versions of all the paintings and statues from the games? I don't even know how that would work on a legal level Did Nintendo have to acquire licenses from the museums that host these pieces of art, despite being public domain? Or is a digital replication safe while a LEGO recreation would require a fee? I know they worked together with the MOMA for the van Gogh Ideas set, but would that sort of collab be necessary for every individual piece of art?
  8. My thinking was that Dragon has very few options for what her accessory could be, hence Donkey being my pick Shrek has wayyyy more possibilities! Huh, forgot about that! Yeah, I can easily see him having a lute. Good call, way more straightforward and realistic than my idea
  9. According to brickmerge, 72537 is the previously rumoured Olivia Rodrigo set, so the identity of „Lollipop“ has now been revealed too! …which means KPDH is indeed still missing among the set numbers we currently know of Turns out you were right, @Accio Lego
  10. Good call! Here’s what I think could be the accessories: Shrek: an onion (printed 1x1 round tile), a microfig Gingy, or the fairy tale book he wipes his a** with Fiona: the small dog from Shrek 2, a literal balloon animal, a bird, or one of the kids as a baby fig Dragon: Donkey Merlin: rock au gratin Puss: rapier Gingy: gingerbread animal as a reference to Shrek FA Executioner: “Awwww” sign Farquad: magic mirror Big Bad Wolf: this one’s tricky… a pillow maybe? Or one of the Three Blind Mice? Pinocchio: the remote Fairy Godmother: wand and/or Friar’s Fat Boy menu Charming: a hand mirror or hobbyhorse
  11. I haven’t thought about that before, but how do you think they’ve realised the mask for the Bonkle cosplayer? Since it’s a costume, we can expect a regular minifig head. So will the mask attach via a neck attachment, be clipped onto a motorcycle helmet like a visor, be dual-moulded with the actual grey headpiece being a helmet that goes over the minifig head, or have two separate parts?
  12. Yu-Gi-Oh! will get a set! Allegedly, there will be an Ideas contest soon, with the winning entry getting made into a set!
  13. This gives off strong “I liked this band before it was cool” vibes
  14. She’ll likely have an alternative faceprint ^^ Also, why can’t a monster hunter be happy about scoring a bounty/kill?
  15. The next Fortnite BrickHeadz set has been revealed with a Supply Llama and Fishstick! The llama is slightly cursed, but I like them both ^^
  16. The Monsters Inc BrickHeadz set has been revealed! Mike looks hilarious
  17. Two more minifigs have leaked! One is certainly the monster hunter, no clue what the other could be… Looks more like a BAM figure to me (minus the dual-moulded printed legs) Edit: Duh, the torso and legs are for the Bionicle Cosplayer, but the head can’t be right! A carved pumpkin with a worm coming out?! Maybe it’s the faceprint underneath the Trash Monster’s slime headpiece?
  18. Yeah, the only chrome piece still in production is the One Ring. I think the reason is a negative environmental impact of their production (like toxic gas).
  19. Fingers crossed Mudbray is in one of the Pokémon sets to make that 4
  20. Pooh looks great, Piglet… eh Nice to see the minifigs return, but Christopher Robin would’ve been a welcome addition! Also, there’s only thing that comes to my mind when looking at the piglet figure: FIRMLY GRASP IT!!
  21. There are multiple years in hold in high regard, ordered chronologically: 2008: Very nostalgic year for me, with SpongeBob, Indy, and SW all having really memorables waves! 2012: The Lord of the Rings finally got sets, the Hobbit also had a great first wave, Star Wars was on a roll with that Jabba’s Palace and some cool TCW sets, and both Marvel and DC had their big return! 2014: The LEGO Movie, need I say more? The Hobbit sets were also fantastic additions, especially the Smaug set, and Simpsons had their debut with the first (non-sports) licensed CMF series. Rebels had really cool sets too and I miss the times we had 4 yearly battlepacks 2015: TFA had a fantastic first wave, Marvel shined with the AoU sets, and DC had awesome JL comic-based sets. 2017: The LEGO Batman movie had some of the best DC sets to date, The Ninjago Movie sets were also excellently designed, and TLJ got plenty of cool sets. 2018: The big return of Harry Potter with one of my favourite CMF series to this day, and the Solo sets were top-notch as well. Infinity War also had a great range of sets. And I never forget the moment we finally got a Minecraft chicken after waiting for 4 years! 2019: TROS had some really solid sets, but what makes this year special to me is the Upside Down, which still firmly sits in my top 5 sets ever released. The LEGO Movie 2 also provided some instant classics. 2023: The glorious yet short-lived return of Indy alone makes this year memorable, but we also had a couple really good Marvel sets like the Final Battle from NWH, some solid Mando S3 sets, the fantastic Ahsoka sets, the JP anniversary wave, the return of LotR with Rivendell, plus the long-awaited Gringotts! Oh, and Sonic came back with a full theme! 2024: The SW anniversary was fun, Marvel had some bangers, and the sets from the survey leak were all impressive (particularly Barad-dûr, the Snow White Cottage, Burrow, Deku Tree, Simba, and Jabba’s Sailbarge). Plus the debut of Animal Crossing! 2025: Babu Frik and TROS Palpatine alone elevated this year for me, but we also had the debut of the fantastic One Piece sets, the new Black Pearl, the large-scale Mario Kart set, our first Star Trek sets, and the return of Simpsons! 2026: It’s early, I know, but this year will easily go down as one of my faves as well. More Zelda, Stranger Things, Minas Tirith, Luigi, M&G, One Piece S2, Pokémon, and now Shrek? And even more new themes? Sign me up
  22. It is, because if a GWP is expected to sell out in half a day, some people will get the respective required set on day one, who otherwise probably would’ve waited for a sale. Of course you can argue that few people overall act like this, but it’s still a rather questionable tactic No, I didn’t mean they should continue producing the GWP sets, but rather create a large enough supply that lasts them longer Of course storage space is an obvious problem here.
  23. The list is accurate, as it’s from Maxbautde It’s not the first time we had a full list of the September CMF before getting detailed information on or pics of the May series. Pretty sure that also happened in 2024 with the D&D series! If I remember correctly, there was also one year where we had pictures of the May series before the January one was on shelves even
  24. No. Shrek will have a moulded head with a standard torso and legs Plus some of the mutant characters in the TMNT sets ^^
