  1. Safe to assume the same time I'd say, an appropriate time considering Fantastic Beasts 2 is out in the November
  2. I would buy a ISD in an instant. Maybe they could go the Falcon route and allow you to make both the Imperial I and Imperial II class. I would love that, maybe include accessories other than a blockade runner; a Falcon to put on the bridge? Battle damage parts? So many possibilities. I'd also love a blockade Runner revamp, or Tydirium
  3. The thing is, I don't really want to take apart and restructure a set that cost so much money, I don't really have the confidence in myself to do it. ive fiddled with the set a bit and have reduced the droop a bit, I'm fine with some drooping, but it's the fact that one is doing it more than the other that is bugging me. I think it's because there is a break in the side of the mandible structure to accommodate the cockpit, which is unfortunate.
  4. How I could see things working is that if we get a D2C Hogwarts, the CMF will probably be focused on complimenting that set. in the set itself we will probably get the main characters (Harry Ron Hermione) plus a few teachers. In the CMF we could get variants of those characters, but also other teachers and students. We could get Cedric and Luna in school uniforms so that we get Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw uniforms finally to populate the school.
  5. I've just posted about it in the main Falcon thread, but my left mandible has dropped dramatically since the ship has been built, it looks terrible
  6. Right,so I purchased the Falcon on release day and had it built by the next evening, so it's currently been built for about 6 weeks. ive just come home from university after two weeks away and have discovered that the left mandible (the side with the cockpit) is severely drooping. As far as I am aware there has been no significant pressure on the Falcon in my absence and no one has even touched it, bar a white sheet that has been keeping the whole thing dust-free. so I have a question, is this a design flaw that others have experienced? Or have I done something wrong in building, because I've disassembled a few panels and everything looks fine but it's dropping so bad I don't know what to do. Putting OCD aside, this is inexcusable in a £650 set of it is something others are experiencing.
  7. It's all but confirmed that that is the set with Finn, Rose and the executioner stormtroopers.
  8. I'm this potential hogwarts I'd be disappointed if they included the Chamber of Secrets, as some people has suggested. It would be small and not very playable, and would mean the castle would have to have a big base under the main buildings to house it, using up more pieces. a chamber of secrets would be best served in a £100-£140 set to get a large diorama with both sides of the room with some cool snake head builds, a central path, the giant head and a decent brick-built basalisk. play features could include opening statue Mouth for the snake to come through, parts of the statue could explode like when the snake attacks too. Minifigs would obviously be Harry, Tom Riddle, Ginny and Fawks
  9. I think the best way lego could do the set is to give a few large buildings/towers for example; Griffindor Tower the Great Hall the clocktower the astronomy tower greenhouse the building the bridge from the great hall connects to and then give us some walls/bridges/buildings without interior that can connect to the main buildings in different arrangements so everyone can have their own personalised rendition of the layout. hogwarts doesn't really have a solid front face that can be utilised in the same fashion as the Disney castle, Arkham and Wayne manor. So having mulituple modular buildings that can open to reveal interiors and can be connected would probably be the most viable way to do it, and if they do a few generic towers/buildings, it can give some the opportunity to buy a second set to add more to their layout
  10. I always see people complaining about the lack of moulding and printing etc. On the Star Wars figs, try being a superheroes fan... bar the Batman Movie you'd be hard pressed to find even leg printing!
  11. TIE Striker, Force Awakens X-wings, Slave 1, A-Wing, Y-Wing, Krennics Shuttle all greatly designed ships that are currently available
  12. I thing that would be quite unlikely. The Simpson sets are completely different buildings. It doesn't really fit with how lego produce their sets, in my opinion, to do two very expensive sets that are just different parts of the same building. They've not done anything like that before in this scale as far as I'm aware. also I think people are forgetting that the design of the castle does not lend itself well to a playsets if we were to get the complete castle. There are a lot of thin buildings and towers that form areas with courtyards in between that would be quite hard to reproduce in a playset. The only way would be a scale model.
  13. I really can't think of any way that they'd be able to make the whole castle. People seem to be expecting it but the only way that will happen is if it's some sore of micro scale model. I imagine it will be along the lines of the 2010 Hogwarts, but a tad larger. Buildings is like to see are the great hall, main tower, clock tower, astronomy tower, the wooden bridge and a courtyard.
  14. I don't think variety matters much when it comes to imperial and first order packs. Asking as there's some storm troopers to army build they'll get bought. i imagine this set will feature a executioner trooper, a snow trooper or two (as they are on crait in the trailer) and a regular storm trooper or an officer People paying £30+ for a Porg on eBay at the moment (yes, that is actually happening) are really gonna regret that decision I think.
  15. So the 'Supremecy Battle' set is the one to feature Finn, Rose and the Executioner Troopers. Do we know whether it will include Phasma? If so then this set is a must-have. I expect it to be along the likes of the Takodana and Scarif sets, small part count compared to its huge price to sell some good minifigures. next year seems full of affordable sets with fantastic minifigures; the Jedi and tatooine battlepack, a £20 set with General Grievous and Mace Windu, £30 sets with Yoda, training and old Luke and training Rey, and a chewbacca is even in a microfighter! I like this new trend that lego has started with Star Wars with smaller sets containing high-profile characters (think bounty hunter pack, Vader transformation and duel on Naboo)
  16. I'd say they could have shown the different colours in the hair, there's plenty of figures out there with streaks of other colours on the hairpieces. Even Chewbacca is an example of how it can be effecting. It might not have worked well, but it's something that could have been done. i think the colour is fine, but would have preferred it to be gray if I had the choice
  17. I think the most interesting thing about Lego Star Wars is that they have never really been able to capture the main characters correctly. At least in my opinion, they have never been able to capture Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie right. Han has always looked awful from the face and hair, the 2016 Death finally brought us a version that fits the bill, but that took 16 years to perfect... leia has been fine, but I don't get her character's vibe like I do from character's like Rey. luke has always had the shortest straw though, Lego has tried so hard, the 2014 version above being evidence of that... but he either comes out looking creepy or just not looking detailed enough. And it seems their failure to capture Mark Hamil has moved over to him as an older man. this is all just my opinion though. I would say however that I think the Force Awakens game version of Luke was pretty much perfect...
  18. I would disagree. The Prisoner of Askaban set was a great representation of the clock tower building. And the 2010 and 2011 sets represented specific locations quite well aswell. Especially the great hall in the 2010 set.
  19. Personally I would love a UCS Sail Barge. With the recent Skiff not featuring Luke, maybe there could be one over the horizon which features a second Skiff. i know Disney want to shy away from slave Leia, but I'm sure there's some way that Lego could get around it. As for other figures. Jabba and Max Rebo would be welcomed rereleases. R2D2, C-3PO, a good amount of guards, Luke Skywalker and I'm thinking the Boba Fett from the Skiff set, but with the arm detailing of the UCS Slave 1 minifigure.
  20. Don't you mean 5 versions? 1. philosophers stone/chamber of secrets 2. Prisoner of Askaban 3. Order of the Phoenix 4. 2010 5. The Bridge
  21. Atleast the packs will go down incredibly in price. It's such a shame this happened, the idea for dimensions was great and some of the year 3 packs sounded awesome. The minecraft pack would have been very interesting, would it have been possible to essentially have minecraft but with a Lego skin? i loved the story of the game and have had hours of fun on the adventure worlds. And it brought fantastic things like Doctor Who and Portal. But all good things must come to an end it seems. We're gonna miss you Lego Dimensions
  22. People should be receiving their VIP cards next week. I was surprised to learn that the wait is because they're engraving them with our names, pretty awesome in my opinion. I love this special treatment from Lego.
  23. So I'm guessing that this cantina would be an exclusive? Unless there's some sort of mos eisley UCS set coming.
  24. I went to TRU in Southampton yesterday with no luck.
  25. Can anyone point me in the right direction to these pictures?
