  1. Awesome, I hope this is true
  2. Very early for a Bricktober leak, which kinda makes me think these might be being released in a different way? Or they were pulled forward due to TRU closing? i guess time will tell, but these things are packaged and everything when there’s still 5 months till they would be released? Interesting to me. i predict in the Uk, somewhere like Smyths or Argos or Tesco will grab them. Tesco recently got the DJ polybag from Star Wars and the Unikitty sets as exclusives, so I’d say they’re very likely candidates.
  3. To those worried about the lack of some characters (Hooch, crab and goyle etc.) I’d say hold off on the worrying for the moment. We still have a 22 Minifigure series to see, and I fully expect a few of these characters to be in that, as well as the D2C. but those aside, they’ve only just scratched the surface of these 3 films. There’s so much potential for sets; the troll attack, the Philosophers stone chambers, the chamber of secrets, gringots, dragon alley, the Knight Bus, Hagrid’s Hut, the leaky cauldron. Lego are being very smart about this theme it seems, and focusing the sets on particular scenes rather than sourcing from multiple films. With this model I think they intend to be releasing Harry Potter sets for the duration that the Fantastic Beast films are out there (with 4 more films after this year that’s atleast a 7 year window). So are playing the long game. I think by the time this theme ends, we will have the most comprehensive collection of characters the franchise has ever seen in one place, and the theme will be a licence tentpole for Lego along with Star Wars and Superheroes. now bring on August 1st so I can buy them all and me and my partner can spend the weekend building them!!
  4. I guess because it hasn’t been revealed and the Minifigure from that scene have been shoehorned into the Hogwarts Express Set. i still hold out hope though, I really want Aragog!
  5. Those prices are unbelievable! I really hope the UK prices are not higher *ahem*jurassicworld*ahem* $40 for 500 pieces is fantastic value for a licenced theme!!
  6. For those who will want to mod the tree, I definitely think that just duplicating the part of the build for the branches and adding a second layer of them on top will add a good density to the tree.
  7. I’m not saying it would be, it’s just an option that they could do. There’s lots of figures you can ‘just make’ and Lego will still make them into sets. It was just a hypothetical idea, geeze
  8. Yes you can make him, but Lego will very likely want to be able to sell you one
  9. Looking at these sets, I think we can make some educated guesses on who will be in the Minifigure series to accompany the sets: Madame Hooch and some other players (probably the twins and Malfoy) for the Quidditch set maybe an accurate Harry and Ron for the train set? Sirius Black for certain, potentially a dementor more students for the Hogwarts sets, Neville, Dean, Crab, Goyle, I expect them all in the series if they’re not in the sets or D2C based on the Baselisk in the Great hall, maybe Ginny and Tom Riddle and then probably the House ghosts to accompany Nick
  10. How plausible is it that perhaps they’ve used the wrong Minifigure in these images? And the PoA versions will indeed be whats in the final Express Set? Would be a huge shame if they’re not accurate to the scene considering the lengths Lego has gone to on accuracy
  11. I didn’t even notice, that’s so weird, considering their clothes from the scene on the platform in CoS are in another set...and Hermione is in her clothes from the Dementor Attack. Very strange
  12. There’s been leaks of Harry and Ron from that scene in the movie, so the set is coming
  13. Hardly something to complain about when most of the figures are insanely accurate with full prints, and tons of new moulds. Big deal 2 characters don’t have leg printing, try being a fan of the Superheroes line...
  14. WOW, that Hogwarts Express really came out of nowhere! How has no one leaked that! love the Quidditch Set, with all the towers represented, multiples of the set will easily allow a full pitch! I remember someone ranting that Snape couldn’t possibly be in this Set, so that’s fun. shame about the Willow being small, but the Hogwarts building is fantastic. I don’t think any of these looks as good as the Great Hall Set, but they still look fab! Interesting that there’s no front picture of the Hogwarts section in the Willow Set, nor a picture of Aragog
  15. It does allow it, it depends what comes in the set, maybe Hagrids Hut, maybe a bridge, who knows
  16. Fair enough, is it not odd how early these have been leaking though? I mean a Beckett Minifigure leaked for a Star Wars Set the other day and that set releases in a few weeks. i know I’m almost certainly wrong, but oh well
  17. Mot saying I’m a genius...but....I am
  18. But are we. Things can change. Maybe the date got moved forward. I just think it’s strange how early these figures are leaking. Other recent themes like Jurassic World and Solo have leaked about a month before, not 2 and a half. i know I’m probably wrong, but I can dream!
  19. So these BrickHeadz are being released July 1st...are we sure that the Harry Potter sets aren’t being released then? We haven’t seen any FB Minifigure leaks. I know it’s unlikely, but what if the Harry Potter sets release July 1st, and the August 1st date has been just for FB all along?? EDIT: I’ve been thinking this considering all these sudden leaks when there’s nearly 3 months till the sets release. But we haven’t seen any from the new movie ‘s sets
  20. A more accurate Minifigure list: Aragog in the Forbidden Forest: Harry Ron The Whomping Willow: Harry Ron Filch Snape Quidditch Set: Harry Oliver Wood Marcus Flint The Great Hall: Harry Ron Hermione Susan Bones Draco Hagrid Dumbledore Nearly Headless Nick McGonagall Quirrell Unknown/probably activity book: Olivander
  21. That’s leaked Quidditch Harry having a black broomstick points towards it being a chamber of Secrets set IMO, with the poster accidentally giving Harry a Nimbus 2001
  22. There’s no way the great hall is part of the D2C, atleast there wouldn’t be a bigger version as some have suggested. If it was part of a full Hogwarts D2C, it would have to be smaller than the $100 one
  23. What if Olivander is the activity book Minifigure? They’re known to leak very early (as seen with the DC ones recently)
  24. If we look at the Hogwarts castle image used in that teaser page, what’s used on all wizarding world merchandise at the moment, the castle seems to be in two sections. the great hall and tower, and then the assortment of buildings to the right, and it has a connecting section in between the two. the great hall set obviously covers the left half of the castle, and the Whomping Willow Set seems to cover the connection, so perhaps the D2C is the right hand side of the castle? With perhaps extras like Hagrids Hut, and maybe even a second half to a quidditch pitch if we just get half in the rumoured set? link to image in question: http://www.mugglenet.com/2018/04/lego-harry-potter-launches-minisite-teasing-forthcoming-sets/
  25. It’s so depressing comparing new Star Wars and Harry Potter figures to marvel ones. New mounds, leg printing, dual moulding. And marvel gets none of it. Why is it the super heroes line is where they’re cutting costs?
