  1. Oh man, I hope not. I'm super glad we got a Scorpion, but the one from Bridge Battle is about as good a one as I'd expect, and man do I ever not need three Scorpion variants. It's crazy we'll have three Scorpion sets before getting a single Lizard, though. Guess they gotta justify that new tail mold?
  2. I knew we weren't expecting them, but I guess this catalogue leak confirms that we're not getting a comics-based winter wave this year. Guess that was greedy to hope for since we're getting a massive wave of Infinity War sets, but... still. Was hoping to get a few new, more obscure characters, since IW is mostly going to be remakes of existing characters.
  3. "Y'all like cosplay, right? Well we gave the lead of this a $12 wig so she'll be easy to cosplay! Enjoy dressing up as Nobody's Favourite, Medusa!"
  4. I suspect that Lego, much like the vast, vast majority of humanity, will continue to not care about the Inhumans. If we never got any Agents of Shield sets, I can't imagine we'll get anything for the infinitely worse looking Inhumans show. Best I'd hope for is maybe Black Bolt, probably as an SDCC exclusive. (But I'm with you that a Lockjaw would be sweet as hell)
  5. Well I don't think anybody was expecting that...
  6. I think that's mostly because all the previous animated comic book movies weren't theatrically released. I can't think of the last animated theatrical superhero film--Mask of the Phantasm? We may not get much merchandise because of the Marvel/Sony split, but I think we should look more to, say, Big Hero Six than the direct to DVD films as reference for the Miles film.
  7. You could include the first Spider Man line, which was similarly separate from the main Super Heroes like to help even things out some? Anyway, I'd be in favor of their inclusion.
  8. Okay clearly that wasn't DOOM, but a Doombot. I demand the listing be changed, because there's no way that fool Stark could defeat DOOM!
  9. Got dang, we're already starting up the "secret exclusive set" rumor mill?
  10. Silver Centurian is a very good fig, but I think you're so forgetting that ALL MUST BOW BEFORE DOOM!
  11. I will gladly trade you a soda for a Hulk. Seems fair, since you'll need something to help you wash down all that plastic.
  12. Plus, there wasn't a whole lot else of interest in that round...
  13. See, I would like to encourage everyone to do the exact opposite: Buy two of the set so you can complete the Arena circle, and sell off the second set of minifigs. ...because I'm planning to skip it and just buy the figs on BL, and it'd be really helpful if the rest of you did that to drive the prices down. Thanks!
  14. Do we even need another Venom or Carnage, though? The ones we got were already great--not sure what they could do to improve them. Plus they were in really cheap sets, so even if you missed them they should be pretty inexpensive on Brick link?
  15. It's really good... except that all I can see it as it's the X-Men 3 Juggernaut, which... Ugh, X-Men 3.
  16. Hawkguy and Arkham Statue. ... Also, are we going to see the other Kabuki Twin later on in this competition?
  17. Maybe he's shutting it down until Arkham Statue wins?
  18. Would it help if, as an Ultron voter, I switch my vote to Black Panther?
  19. Maybe one of the War Machine helmets?
  20. Ooo, good call. Jango Fett works okay, except that it's way too recognizable as mandalorian armor--makes the whole thing read as like a Star Wars mech to me? Plus I like that the Adaptoid helmet is just a knockoff Iron Man helmet, which is super appropriate.
  21. Awesome. Thanks for doing this! (Also for ruining this in general, it's been fun)
  22. It's really, really bad--few years back I was making minifigs of me and my wife, and the options for black woman heads were pretty much just Storm and some Star Wars alien with purple eyes, neither of which were great. Slightly better now, but still no official option for "black woman with glasses." Got a custom printed, so it worked out in the end, but it was an eye opening experience in where the limits of Lego's minifig options currently are. ANYWAY. Beyond that, I also just really wish we had more army builders in the Marvel theme. I get why we don't (since superheroes are built around battles between smaller groups of super distinctive individuals more than, y'know, Clone Troopers v. Battle Droids) but that Iron Man vs. Ultron set was great. Hoping they start working an equivalent into every line it makes sense to... and Black Panther is the first one where it does, since Age of Ultron, as the Dora Milaje have distinctive designs, are cool characters, and are massable. Not like Stormtrooper massable, but where it'd make sense to buy 2 or 3 of the set. ... Granted as primarily a minifig collector, of COURSE that's my most desired kind of set, but... still, I think we'd all love a day when Lego puts out an AIM, or Shield Agent, or Hand battle pack.
  23. It's not really a color swap, though... This one is more like a Munchkin (or Tim Bit for you Canadians out there) to the Ragnarok ship's donut. But either way, this seems like a shoe in for inclusion in a set.
  24. Sure! Or just putting up the new round as a new post as well as editing the first post (which may be easier since you could just copy and paste?). Whatever is easier on your end.
