bricklayer replied to bricklayer's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I havent seen lego at my local stores. Maybe they are just giving it a test run. soon they will also sell groceries -
When i go down the lego aisle just itching to spend some time looking at the sets. My son has no interest to look(gotta fix this) I try coax him to look so that it doesnt look like me whos looking.....but he doesnt. Listen, got nothing to be ashamed of.I keep telling my wife. Its an innocent hobby and not illegal.

Lego at Bestbuy & Futureshop(Candian stores)
bricklayer posted a topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Just noticed tonight, thought id share. Bestbuy.ca has tons of lego for sale. Futureshop has a couple of sets. Its good, because besides walmart(and smalll specialty stores) you cant get lego any other place. I wonder if they will match and give an extra 10% off. I saw that they are a little cheaper out the gate for a couple of sets. Bestbuy.com doesnt have much at all. -

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
bricklayer replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I never had lego growin up. So my dark ages were about 4-15(11 years) then 22-30(8 years) Taking the general average of everyone. So my dark ages lasted 19 years But im gonna make up for lost time -

New to Lego...Let me throw this out there.
bricklayer replied to bricklayer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Something I thought. Ive dropped a lot on golf.At $40 a pop for 4 hours. It doesnt compare actually. For $120 you get the bricks for the rest of your life.....and any others you buy. I guess the only limit is our imagination!!! -
Hi, I never had lego growin up But now im older I can afford it. But im asking myself some questions and want your personal view. 1)If I drop $120 on a nice city set and build it....then what? What do you do(look at it....play with it....rebuild it) I have no desire to play with it(only when my son is older) I DO have a desire to build it......but how many times would I rebuild the same set? It would be nice to look at on a shelf. But isnt it crazy to spend tat kind of money to build something once and let collect dust on a shelf? Maybe the point is....eventually I could also do my own MOC's using all my sets. However.....I just want to buy EVERY set I see!!! Pls help. Thanks,

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
bricklayer replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks, It just weird why they would advertise without giving any instructions....i mean someone has built it for them to have a picture of it. I will ask lego and see if i can get a response. -
