AG - Introduction and Discussion
Professor Thaum replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Andromeda's Gates
Welcome lightchao... Sadly Andromeda Gates seems to be on a break (a very very long one I conceed) Here are the rules of Era I, but for the coming (I hope so) Era II there should be many changes... so use it as a guideline, but not like rules. -
Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion, Era II
Professor Thaum replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
@Wellesley may I suggest you some settlement dedpending on how you want to build : 1- The "capitals", and most achieved settlements are Kings Harbour and Arlinsport, ready for built fitting with the most beautifull towns of 18th century and the high ends technological progress (for 18th century, of course) 2- The standard are Port Raleigh, Elizabethville, and Stormhaven 3- Jameston as the furthest east colony of Corrington is ready for frontier aligned built 4- I should make no comment on Mesabi Landing. Corrington do not know what the hell to mess with it... The place for weird, testing ground, jury-rigged thingy, etc etc. A chance that the count has more interest being at sea than ashore, I dare not imagine what would happen there else. -

Wow, another great one of yours... agreed with @Mesabi this version with the black roof is more contrasted than the medieval one, and the palm trees are a really cool add-on -

This one is cool too ! Any resemblance to real Corrish, living or dead, is purely coincidental. and we Sea Rats are considered as crooks.... pfff -

Amusing twin builts prequel to a magical gate between them ? -
Eh, I like this trans-red, trans-clear window looks like a corrish flag
-
Now that Montoya is back, @Bregir would certainly be forced to jump again into BoBs (with numerous builts of course - his implication into the game mechanics is above any reproach)
-
Montoya seems to be back ! Tortuga and Celestia are some kind of neighbour I love this scene, and I agree that original colour scheme works well.

Thanks feel free to reuse the concept, there's no patent Thanks for the kind words, as I told sooner I always have inspiration of real photos, these were in a book talking about Port Royal/Savannah etc and were about wooden poles. The fact that nowadays we use metal ones proves that the concept was the good one Thanks, I would love to have enough real bricks to have this one built too I must confess that the copy paste tool does exist in the LDD software, so the cherry are pretty easy to set up... I made one hops tree and duplicate the others, but I rotate some cherry for a more realistic display -
No !
