  1. Finally got around to watching this today, it was very interesting. Thanks a lot for sharing :-)
  2. Happy Birthday! Hope it's a good one!
  3. Indeed getting ready.. (and being nervous.. we still have a few problems that must be solved..) (using 12 48x48 baseplates (football fields), more than 15000 bricks and rising.. no wonder some people call us mad ;-))
  4. Various Artists - Demovibes 7 (a long mix of demo soundtracks)
Tok særs kort tid å kopiere over i noko som kunne oversetje. "This is Base64 code. If you're translating this, you should consider getting (a) hobby(ies). I should probably get a few more, too. *Thinks*" ..and you know what they say:
  6. Great ship, I absolutely love it and I'm looking forward to seeing it in the next episode of The Whacker & The Walrus. And also, thanks for making me aware of the Radiant-Kestrel, hadn't seen it before, it's great The small black dragons come from 4766 Graveyard Duel. Somehow I think it's more likely that it would be commanded by Robur than Captain Nemo. But yes, it would have fitted perfectly into a Jules Verne novel
  7. As a matter of fact I'm visiting aj-ml, the builder of that pub, right now. Somewhat scary coincidence ;-) And I have a hard time stopping my heart from beating, her LEGO collection is HUGE. At least 1000 unopened sets, maybe 250k bricks.. a most impressive treasure cave :-D (No, I won't tell you where she lives ;-)) Edit: Now, I have to add that the reason for my visit to aj-ml's was to borrow a rather large amount of bricks for a MOC I'm building together with a friend for Legoworld Oslo. I hope I can show some WIP-shots during/after this coming weekend. It's going to be quite large, covering (almost at least) 12 48x48 baseplates (the football field kind actually ;-)) Edit2: Also, The Jolly Brick looks a lot better IRB, aj-ml has used some quite brilliant techniques some places *wub*
  8. vnv nation - freude (schlachtfeld wumpscut)
  9. Weeping Willows - The Moon Is My Witness
  10. Well, it does say "History, Adventure and Pirates", and we're both in that category. So yes, it does. :-)
  11. Going to Bingen am Rhein in Germany in Easter weekend for the Breakpoint demoparty, an event filled with a certain crazy breed of computer geeks called "demosceners", drinking beer and talking about demos. And drinking more beer, and watching demos, and drinking even more beer while talking about the demos we have just seen. Und so weiter.. :-D Before that, Sunday to Thursday actually, I'll be in Hamar (in Norway) for The Gathering, the world's second largest computer party. 5000 computer screens glowing in the dark does have a certain beauty. *wub*
  12. Hello and welcome to EB! Good to see another AFOL return from his dark ages *sweet* ..guess there's not much left to ask after such a thorough introduction, hope you'll enjoy your stay here, it's a great community with lots of whacky (internal joke 1 ;-)) stuff going on all the time :-)
  13. Had some time to kill before an appointment today, so I dropped by the nearest toy store, which led to impulse buying two impulse sets, 5614 and 5615. From this I learned that I was wrong, they cost a little bit less than a cup of good coffee :-D (If I drink it at the coffeehouse, due to Norwegian tax laws being weird it costs less for takeaway..)
  14. Great.. now I have to come up with more entries.. nassty walrusses :-D Indeed you are.. our good walrus must have misunderstood what your entry was about ;-)
  15. As you should know, being your mommy is more than any one person can handle, so we have to share the burden.
  16. Yes, it is too dark to make out what is in the cauldron (or indeed that there is a cauldron :-P) Yes, and you are Bobbin *wub*
  17. I may have drunk too much beer tonight, but I just can't stop laughing at this :-D (excellent use of the ice cream, and the gears)
  18. a) baseplate.. see Sinner's latest post for a clarification about that :-) b) four pics? See the rules, please.
  19. Theme: Castle Name: Princess and pet Piece count: 26 (excluding the minifig) Overall picture: The sub-models: The pieces: This monkey could be a lonely girl's best friend.. or he could be a servant of the Evil Wizard that will murder everyone in their sleep and open the gates for the skeleton army. *skull*
  20. Hehe, very nice postcard X-D As for the "porn" debate.. remember Rule 34.. :-D Suuure.. blame the French, as usual. :-P
  21. Flipside - Stratosphere *wub*
  22. Great video using a great song from a great game *wub* Though it should have included more portals, of course. And a cake, even though it's a lie ;-)
  23. Amazing ship, I'm loving it more and more for every picture in the gallery *wub* The ninja skeleton was without a doubt my favourite detail :-D I thought Hinckley was the evil twin brother? :-P Everyone's favourite moderator^wadmin^wwhacker *wub* (as for which skeleton(s) (is|are) him, you'd have to see his sigfig to understand)
