  1. Congrats! It's well deserved.
  2. Indeed, this is fabulous Don't bother to repeat all I wrote in the Fabuland-DS topic, but all of it is true for this MOC too. Really, really cool concept. And for some reason Shadows' rambling made me want to listen to Animals by Pink Floyd (after all, it has songs about both sheep and pigs)
  3. Inertia also had to leave, has this been taken into account when calculating how many votes are needed? So we only have to make two more persons understand that Lord Ash deserves to die, that should be doable. I think. Even though time is running out. I wonder if Hinckley/Lord Savril can be convinced to change his vote. And the good friar hasn't cast a vote yet. Haven't checked the complete transcript of the voting to see who else could be worth trying to persuade. (though I'm quite sure we can't convince Lord Ash to vote for himself, or Calvin to vote for his employer )
  4. I don't believe him, in fact I think he's a traitor. But I'm certain that his puppet master is a bigger threat, which is why I voted for him, and I would strongly urge you to do the same, General, a simple fisherman isn't worth your time and effort, Lord Ash is!
  5. Lovely Great selection of figs for the characters, and great job capturing both the SW atmosphere and the Fabuland feeling at the same time. No wonder you won Funny thing is, when I first saw the Fabuland Tantive IV on Nannan's Flickr I just knew you had to be involved And it came as no surprise that it was a co-op between you and copmike. Please do more SW-Fabuland, it's a very cool concept that I think has lots of potential. (I wonder what kind of fig you would use for Han Solo or Obi-Wan)
  6. I think you are mistaken, taking out Lord Ash would probably help a lot more than getting rid of the stinking seafood slaughterer (OOC: crap, I really must figure out some other alliterations to use ) Please Sir, I urge you to reconsider, as Rotrigous said, we need a united front. Actually, I wouldn't mind missing it if it means we get rid of that traitorous Lord Ash. (OOC: and I don't think it would help the game at all to lose the most active player )
  7. Rotrigous, your words sound very wise to me, hopefully others will see this too and vote for Lord Ash. Agreed. Vote: Lord Ash / TinyPiesRUs
  8. Right, this was much information to consider, and while I do, and wait for an explanation from General Marcus, I'll at least remove my vote from the fisherman. Unvote: Calvin the Fisherman / Atoll Dweller Now, back to considering (OOC: that is, work )
  9. But from the character's point of view they look quite random (OOC: I fully agree about the commitment part though, people really should be able to make a few posts at least. And preferably cast a vote too.)
  10. I agree with my superior officer, (I guess he could just order me to vote like him ) Vote: Calvin the fisherman / Atoll Dweller (I will of course revoke the vote if he shows up with a good explanation)
  11. We can vote out dragonator? That should stop the random killings Anyway, who are we waiting for today? Is it the flatulent fishcatcher again?
  12. ...or to be painfully exact, an IRC find (got the original link from matija on IRC) Anyway, doesn't look like DARKspawn is very active around here at the moment, so I'm taking the liberty of posting his amazing castle MOC called "Château sur la Rivière" Brickshelf, Flickr. Haven't had the time to properly enjoy it yet, but so far it looks very, very impressive (the bridges are just lovely)
  13. Right, now I see that my lieutenants math came to a different conclusion, 12 vs 5 should be possible to handle, but still, we should be careful and at least try not to kill another loyalist.
  14. A sweet tank Not too fond of Mars Mission, but this was really nice. All the greebling is very good There's one thing about it that bothers me though, I think the treads are too narrow, a tank of that size should have wider treads. But, I guess the narrow treads can work in Mars' lower gravity.
  15. Typical, I take a small nap during my time off from guard duty, and what happens? Of course the bloody chef decides to ruin the party by committing suicide. I wonder who will cook our food now, guess we'll starve to death before managing to find out what has happened in the castle. And he just had to be a loyalist, seems like we could be in serious trouble if whoever we kill today (assuming that we actually manage to do so) is a loyalist too. Then we'd be down to 10 loyalists vs 7 traitors, assuming my lieutenant's math is correct, which I believe it is. After all, he's my superior officer, so he must be right. (at least that's what he told me)
  16. (OOC: I really wonder if this will be merged with the previous post or not...) *Michael the guard is standing all by himself in the great hall, wondering where everyone else has run off to* Hmm, it's awfully quiet in here now. Not that I'm not used to being alone while standing guard, but there should be a large gathering of people in the great hall now, and yet I'm standing here all alone. I really wonder where everyone else is... Perhaps the king's seat is nice and comfortable... but how could I dare trying it, a lowly soldier, in the King's seat (may he rest in peace). Guess I'll just have to stand here all guardylike until the others return from whatever they're up to. I'm sure the traitors are up to some kind of nasty mischief.
  17. I am also the youngest, and I only have two sisters. One of them was never really interested in LEGO, the other had quite a few Technic sets. (Which she still has, in pretty much mint condition, something which I find quite impressive. I wonder if she will let her children play with them when they get old enough) So when we grew up the primary reason we had for conflict about LEGO was me borrowing pieces from my sister's collection... One funny thing I've noticed though, last Christmas one of my nieces got lots of Duplo, but was it she that built with it on Christmas Day? No, it was her parents, very cute
  18. Sir, I think the dungeon closed its doors and threw out all visitors yesterday, so those who traveled there should be available some time today. After all, the dungeon lies far to the west, and thus it's still early morning there. I find this notion of the day starting later further to the west quite strange, but the wizard has assured me that that is the case.
  19. That of course depends on us getting enough votes today to execute him. I hope it won't be as difficult as yesterday. Of course you are real. Now, about that breakfast you promised...
  20. Welcome Christine May you have a not so speedy recovery (so you have more time for building LEGO )
  21. Yes Sir, private Michael reporting for duty, sir! And we've lost another loyalist, I'm almost getting worried that we won't be getting out of here alive... though that particular loyalist seemed like quite a slacker, maybe we're better off without him.
  22. So, today I've visited the opera. That is, I went to a concert with what is probably Norway's best band ever; Seigmen. They are for most practical reasons not an active band, but when the brand new opera house asked them to perform how could they refuse Only, this time they had support from a men's choir, and a string ensemble. Which worked great, some of their songs are very well suited for both choir and strings. It is easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to (and I just noticed that I forgot to post this last night, oh well...)
  23. Seigmen - Nemesis (having just seen them live in the Oslo Opera house )
  24. And to get by with fewer IPs than they have customers. (but now we are getting off-topic)
  25. With Flickr things are a bit different than with Brickshelf. On Flickr the easiest thing to do is to go to "all sizes", select the one you want, medium is usually fine for forum posting, and then right click on the image and select "Copy image location" (or something like that, different browsers name it differently) Then you can paste the address into an [ img ]...[ /img ] (without the spaces of course, and with the URL to the image in place of the dots) Like this: (the medium sized version of the image you posted a link to)
