  1. First of all the mech sets are $10 not $25 and there's only 1 wave of mech sets a year (excluding 1 double pack that usually releases 3 months after the first wave or in this year at the same time as the rest).
  2. Yes but still not as many as they used to. They made like 7 Batman sets in 2019, last year it was 2 (excluding 4+ and D2C). January 2023 may be set in stone (they could shift some things around and design more sets for then). 2HY 2023 will truly show us if movies have an effect or not.
  3. I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll mention it again, the 1966 Batmobile set from last April was only leaked mere weeks before the reveal at best. There are probably 1 or 2 DC sets that are unheard of in the pipeline, nobody knows what will happen.
  4. A $300 set and a $500 set left as well as a few $25 sets in August and September.
  5. People must be so miserable in their own lives that they decide to be a killjoy to other people.
  6. That crossed my mind a few times. That would be amazing.
  7. Expansions to the 2019 Batcave would be amazing! They left empty technic holes on the sides maybe they planned more but there were low sales? Who knows.
  8. I remember this, that was incredibly odd.
  9. The fact 3rd party retailers have it listed tells you it isn’t “Direct to Consumer”. Same release plan as the Benetar. We got a ‘66 Batmobile because when the ‘66 Batcave came out everyone was asking LEGO store employees if the Batmobile came on it’s own. It’s iconic and it keeps selling out just like the Tumbler. It could hold sales as a D2C just like the other Bat-vehicles. We got the ‘66 Batmobile in April last year and the Thumbler in October. We’ve had 3 sets in January (I live in the UK) and I am sure we will get a couple more spread over the year. I don’t remember seeing Promobricks say the $300 is the Hulkbuster. When did they say the $500 is Marvel either? Exactly.
  10. The $210 set isn't a D2C. DC is getting 3 live action films this year, same as Marvel. DC sets constantly become sold out. There will be more DC sets either later this year or next year. I don't think LEGO will leave us dry for the rest of the year. The 1966 Batmobile last year was only just leaked mere weeks before we first saw pictures.
  11. Having just read the Marvel thread, it’s going to be info on one Marvel set. Not sure why the tree emoji is the label for the countdown then.
  12. I have this issue, I assume it’s because I already have a pieces order in my shopping cart. Do you already have pieces in your main shopping cart?
  13. Thank you, I hope so especially with all restrictions ending the UK. Both options is probably best case scenario tbh.
  14. On the label for the countdown, all that is shown is a tree emoji. What grows on trees? Leaves but also fruits, nuts etc. but more specifically coconuts. Mario had the working title of "leaf" and the rumoured Indiana Jones theme is "coconut" so perhaps one of the two?
  15. Specifically for animal pieces no less. Most other pieces have either gone down or stayed the same. LEGO looking for some quick cash.
  16. — 4PM GMT / 5PM CET / 10AM UTC — Hopefully some DC info
  17. This is coming from Australia - one of the strictest countries in terms of COVID restrictions. Crikey no excuse for LEGO UK doing it then.
  18. The $210 is rumoured to be the Sanctum Santorum (or whatever it is called). A couple of people have said the $300 is the Hulkbuster supposedly despite no set number so I’m not sure. Then $500 we know nothing about. No chance the $300 and the $500 are both for Marvel as well as the $210. I think $500 might be too big of an investment for DC right now so I’m inclined to think the $300 could be for DC. Speculation on my part.
  19. This absolutely incredible! The layering works so well, I think this is a technique LEGO should use.
  20. That would make sense, Marvel was released August last year (still doesn’t give us confirmation though).
  21. I miss building my own. Still annoys me I can’t do it myself, I’m an adult for goodness sake.
  22. A-Frame Cabin and BTS have both been approved. Snow White has not. https://www.instagram.com/p/CaRazBmLSqO/
  23. The Chimps in the Jane Goodall set are these: One Black with the face colour above and two dark brown with the face colour above.
  24. We’re not sure why it wasn’t revealed with the rest. It’ll come soon.
