  1. It's not just that. There is very little world building there. Like: Who is governing that Galaxy? (Could have been a frightening, mysterious threat everyone wants to get away from. Could also explain why another Galaxy is never really mentioned again in the sequel era) What did Thrawn and Ezra do during that time? (I kinda wished they found some understanding, Thrawn is a bad guy, but he can also be rational/reasonable, would have made sense imo) Overall, I found that S1 was poorly written. I understand it was the most 'star wars' out of all Disney shows. It probably appealed to a lot of younger fans, which is why I don't understand the lack of sets either? I also found three sets last time to be lackluster: this is basically rebels S5/6. Rebels got a whole lot more sets. Why is Lego treating this so sparingly? Doesn't it sell well enough?
  2. Very impressive! The legs seem like a bigger piece from a large animal? What's beneath the fur, keeping this together?
  3. That isn't remotely the weirdest thing about this. 😅 I'm all for weird stuff, truly: the mechs, micro fighters, rebuild the galaxy... It's fun stuff, accessible for children. Gives us some unique figures and pieces. But this is commercial slop. Those themes sell well, what if we did a crossover? It's almost insulting, it's a Lego version of the Picard "use the force, Harry"-meme... And like others have pointed out: it's not like we've ran out of ideas for good Lego SW sets either. Andor had two playsets. 2. We have this slop before a TIE Avenger. 😭
  4. Trust me even a 4+ usually requires some "family time", Lego can be quite hard to connect/press together for a small child. I don't think that's the issue. The number of parts though and the duration of the build: most 5yo simply don't have the patience to create a 300+ piece set (unless it's somewhat modular like Gabby's dollhouse, that can be done chunks) When I was a kid, sets had far fewer details and pieces. I still quite like putting together vintage sets for that reason, 150 pieces was a pirate island with a small raft and canoe, 300 pieces gave you a sizeable battleship... You really assembled and (maybe more importantly) disassembled such a set in no time as a kid.
  5. Piece numbers leaked. That Endor battle pack looks really awful at that price point and piece count. (Shouldn't be hard to give us 200+ pieces either, just throw in more greenery) Also it looks like a color accurate new snowspeeder canopy could finally come... in a smart set. Rumoured price is 70 euro. 😭
  6. Ooh, I agree. Although I fear there is no way around it at this point. I hope they dail back on it if it's a normal sized BP, similar to the 332nd battle pack which was rumoured at 27$/€ but got released at 20 $/€. Some retail sites listed it at 27$/€ at release, so it seemed like e legitimate change done by Lego.
  7. I do hope that the build does make up for something. For 30$/€ in an Endor setting, I'm hoping the builds make up for it by being a somewhat useful parts package (usually, moet people can find a good use for greenery parts)
  8. Yeah, but it would still make more sense to me to replace vader with a stormtrooper in the regular Bespin set? Anybody else notices how sparingly Lego seems to be these days with regular stormtroopers?
  9. I really like this scale. UCS sets usually are unpractically sized,l and don't allow any actual play. This is perfect though.
  10. That set would go so hard. I'm not the biggest prequel fan, but I would definitely get that set. I hope they do it, especially since most pieces they would need are in production now anyway? I guess we'll be seeing MOC's of such fighters as soon as the bricks land on PAB.
  11. I must say, I'm quite excited for the Bespin Duel... Finally! Also hope the Endor BP focusses on Rebels and Imperials and saves the Ewoks for the village. Only things that really stand out to me in a bad way are 'Darth Vader Art" and Luke maxifig... why? One of those could have been a Tie avenger or a Haulcraft. Can't imagine those sets would sell less than a maxifig or "Darth Vader Art".
  12. Doesn't anyone else think it's unlikely we will get both busts and build able figures of the same two characters on shelves at the same time?
  13. Yes and no imo: a Tie avenger f.e. is recognizable enough to get sold as a cool tie fighter regardless of familiarity with the actual show, I think. I find it hard to believe it would sell worse than the force burner snowspeeder f.e.
  14. Hahaha, I love this, Lego should have included it as an alternate build, good job!
  15. ? A ROTJ Luke wasn't on the list for the smart brick sets either? So this is a regular set then?
