  1. Statistics prove, prove that you've one birthday, one birthday ev'ry year. But there are three hundred and sixty four unbirthdays. That is why we're gathered here to cheer. A very merry unbirthday to you, to you. A very merry unbirthday to you, It's great to drink to someone and I guess that you will do. A very merry unbirthday to you! -Walt Disney's Alice In Wonderland (1951) A Very Merry Unbirthday! by Walter Benson, on Flickr I love the books and film so I decided to make this scene to commemorate my love for them. I was very much inspired by Legohaulic and Littlehaulic's scene. The chairs were inspired by the gazillions I've seen on Flickr. Here is a reference photo.
  2. Is she any relation to Seriously though, I'd have to say Mrs. Claus is a great idea. Maybe we will see her during the next winter/fall series of collectible minifigures! I don't think we'd see her in series 9 because it'd probably be out after Christmas. I have to add that there are so many great guesses in this thread. I'd love to have some of these as actual minifigures.
  3. I love Agent Coulson but I wouldn't want them to bring him back. It'd feel like a cheap revival. Something about it wouldn't seem right.
  4. Nice review! With the exception of the two unique figures, the word "leftovers" kept ringing in my head when I read this review.
  5. While the Weta version may look better, the virtual one from BFME2 is way more fun to play as. I honestly think there's a good chance we will get to play as Tom Bombadil, although I don't think he will have a role in any of the levels.
  6. I think it would've fit in the funnies fine! Buzz sure seems happy that there are so many superheroes.
  7. Very well done! I love how you achieved the Neimoidian feel so well. The details are great! EDIT: After taking a closer look I'd like to make a small suggestion. The floor is quite bare. Maybe adding a tile design with different plates or tiles would make the creation look even better. You know how extravagant those Neimoidians can be, after all!
  8. Great review! It makes me want this set even more. So many great parts.
  9. I remember that you could use Tom Bombadil in Battle for Middle-Earth 2. He looked accurate to the book and was so awesome and fun. A LEGO Tom Bombadil should be pretty cool, although he will probably only ever be in this game. Somehow I doubt we'd ever see an actual minifigure of him.
  10. Epic! I love the way you balanced the tiles and studs. The towers are fantastic also!
  11. Yes that lighting is fantastic! Makes me wish I could/would build sci-fi.
  12. Happy birthday Master and Commander Bonaparte! Hope it's a good one.
  13. Lovin' the new sig fig!

  14. Lovin' the new sig fig!

  15. I had to pop into the Guilds sub-forum to see this, and I'm happy I did. Great stuff as always!
  16. Nice sig fig man. :)

  17. Great stuff! I love Pirate adventures. [bloggedcp][/bloggedcp]
  18. This is a nice set. I loved the review. ("I am not Chuck Norris!") I have to say the price is a bit high like most exclusives, but if I could somehow eventually score this set for just a small percentage off it'd be worth it. I believe that was what I did with the Naboo Starfighter awhile back.
  19. I'm going to hold off signing up at the moment due to constraints. It is not so much time restrictions as it is money and physical bricks that hold me back. Hopefully that can change and I will be able to contribute, but for now I will hold off. I am looking forward to seeing everybody's creations, especially some of the more elaborate Mustafar MOCs that will be made.
  20. Ahoy Mister Phes! :D

  21. Ahoy Mister Phes! :D

  22. I would really be interested in seeing an Oz: The Great and Powerful theme, although the Lone Ranger is more likely and a chance to return to a western Lego theme would be cool. In fact I was even predicting a Lone Ranger theme back in 2011. I'm really hoping I'm right. EDIT: Here is some news on TMNT over on Hoth Bricks. I believe it says something about the theme being confirmed by a reliabe source. I'm not too excited, although I always did like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was a kid.
  23. I read a couple books over the summer that I enjoyed (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Peter Pan) and I thought I'd make a vignette to commemorate it. It's a simple little scene, but I like it. Reading a Book by Walter Benson, on Flickr Walter loves reading! Late Night Reading by Walter Benson, on Flickr Walter does some late night reading. (I guess he has built-in nightvision with that low light) Enjoy!
  24. I'll be sure to blog it if nobody else get's to it. I just didn't want to seem like a hog.
