The thing is that I use my iphone to buy parts and I could get away with it back then, but now when I used a desktop I saw the layouts you mentioned but the problem is it won't give you the parts from the GWP even if it doesn't find it. Like you mentioned, if it's not a regular set, it doesn't populate the search lets you choose the bricks. I can't do the same with blind bag part numbers either.

What’s up with LEGO and GWP’s? Before it was easy to find the sets on their search engine, even though it wasn’t easy. Now it’s completely banned, no parts count or blind bag accessories exist through there. I know it was mentioned before but now my shopping cart that I have saved since it was do able a few weeks back, it dropped in brick count related to that set.

Thanks, the only thing I have seen on third party stores is like 140 bucks for 20 pounds, but I was just curious to see if it was really worth it for the time being.

Second hand LEGO retail stores have been targeted by robbers, especially in California where they just recovered close to $300,000 of stolen LEGO sets. LEGO value awareness has been steadily rising, which is now targeted for their resale prices. Insurance agencies will never pay fair market value, but storage spaces do offer insurance on their units, the one I used only covered up to to a $1,000, so it really depends the brand you choose.

I have a lot of LEGO I'm trying to get rid of and just got this email from LEGO news about their brick trade in program: LEGO® Brick Take Back (legobricktakeback.com) I want to get a gift card rather than digital cash back, does the trade in offers sound reasonable versus taking it bulk locally to a third party store? The max we could do at a time is 45lbs and if eligible the difference between $108-180 is drastic IMHO

Whoa that cannot be true, LEGO doesn’t hold the license for Ninja Turtles anymore and that’s the head of Raphael from 2014, unless they are selling old licensed parts or we’ll get an error either way when ordering them. That rancor figure would be $60 alone and with the arms an easy $100 lol

Yes, you can’t find them that way by popping up, just type in the set number and it will show the pieces. I’ve been placing a huge order for 40601 parts but typing it does work, it just doesn’t “populate” names don’t work either, just numbers

I’ve been surprised too, but I was curious why the manual spits out the cape box number from the lord of the rings set because the other four are mini capes for the hobbits but the actual box that comes with the set has a different part number! That’s just for the brown one, the black one is separate on its own on pick a brick!! I’m just waiting for the red skirt and the door to get released from this set, but I think my MTS villagers are ready to meet the rest of the town! My pick a brick order with the new torso arrived: I got 10332 but never had a chance to build it, but I think I’m now ready to do so that my other villagers arrived. I’m missing capes but this will do:

It’s funny when I see cool faces for my pirates and knights and then find a totally different modern accessory on the back! My MTS torsos came in with the capes, which is the set from Rivendell like they mentioned here, so the manual and pick a brick is completely wrong on the capes included the only thing is that I’m on a mission to get only brown and black capes for my Wolfpack and other tax assessors LOL

Did Anyone notice the graphics overhaul of PaB on the US page? Everything is 3d rendered now, somewhat, from what I have seen anyways! My Standard orders from the first and 3rd of July have been Shipped!

Maybe, I did get my Wolfpack and goats from the best seller category or maybe lego wisen up on finally using their main factory back home in Europe to replenish stock. They were a few MTS torsos and that was the existing green villager and the wolf, now it’s just the green one

That Black Falcon knight was a big deal at that time, granted we didn’t have PaB back then but it was the only way to get that new shield. Aside from the horse skirt, the armor was similar to the other dragon sets. Honestly my only complaint about the Kingdom’s Joust aside from the build was how out of scale it was with the other kingdoms sets, the castle was smaller, so was the dragon knight’s wizard tower, I always used to pose the entrance as castle checkpoint before the castle but it was a weird castle building. Even the King’s Carriage Ambush wouldn’t fit his castle gate but could pass through the joust set LOL. I remember towards the end of Kingdoms the next wave would feature more older factions, but they went back to fantasy sets in 2013 rather than the regular castle themed sets. I really wish we could had gotten a third kingdoms wave but even back then the hype for wave two was exciting! I like the in between wait times of the new castle sets. The speculation is pretty exciting, because really don’t know what to expect, however I do miss it when Lego sets had like 6 sets per waves.

It was in the back of the box and a nice Easter egg is that if you search for the building instructions in Lego.com it will tell you can combine them LOL. Not my picture but I found one off ebay, my kingdoms set are locked up in the garage in boxes at the moment. Looking back on it, we used to get a lot of kings in a majority of sets, like the black falcon faction, I just made my own. But one mod I did was update the tent color of the black falcon tent from dark green to dark blue, man kingdoms was just wild and didn’t know I was living the dream until recently.

Nice!!! I commend you for your work on the deck below!!! There’s no room and if you made room that’s creative, I’m looking forward to your final work. I ended up covering the exposed deck with those grates that you find in Blackseas barracuda remade ship. I honestly bought two 31109’s because I liked the pirate cabin, I legit bought furniture and expanded some details inside but I ended up loving the ship that I combined them a bit more. I like the size, it’s a perfect companion to the other ships.

I remember now hahaha, it felt dirty and guilty buying extra pieces for PaB back then because of how easy it was. The biggest thing I miss was the fast turn around on standard bricks. The shortest amount of time I remember was 4 days from Europe to Texas. Consumers like myself remember that, but 28 days omg, I can wait but I’m wondering what changed in the process from before!? After weather delays my PaB order came in: I’m just building up my MTS civilian population, I already have a bunch of knights! 10 is the sweet spot for me, but seriously 5 for 25 was too much, that was 3/4 of my order for these pieces either way!

Ohhh The Owl Lectern! Honestly I’m a sucker for the modular hogwarts setup, but releasing three sets within a short amount of time can be dismaying because of running out of space. It’ll be hard to choose which is the ultimate set to keep. I like a little bit between all three recent releases, but what makes me mad is that LEGO releases Harry Potter GWP at odd times of the month. I’m waiting to buy the great hall when they release a HP GWP worthy of it’s purchase, because that’s exactly why I missed out on Gryffindor’s common room and Grand Staircase, I already had every HP purchase before they came out and it was frustrating for me by buying sets when they came out. Unless it’s The Bank, then yeah that’s different but these smaller sets are making me wait a bit. I like that they included the rock base, but I forgot that the classroom can fit in the dungeons, I’m all for spacing these purchases out to be able to buy the 1000$ set combined but I’m a sucker for modular sets, especially Harry Potter ones! You are correct, 3 recent great halls is getting a bit annoying, I’m a fan of the microscale set but I’m finding comfort in Harry Potter sets because recently LEGO hasn’t been releasing Playsets that much, it’s either vehicles/ships and static sets, I like the playset scales of the Harry Potter lineup that can be expanded upon a monumental wizarding world of Lego hehe

Homie, Lego sold this set with a picture of two sets combined, we could combine it front and back with little mods, the set mas made to be connected and expanded! Back then that set brand new sold for 120 bucks, looking back on it, I remember when they discounted it towards the end of its run and I regret not grabbing more. Even back then it was considered a masterpiece of a set, I remember the critique in a good way that was a mix of AFOL and Lego. I agree with a reimagined version of this set, I’m just curious what factions they would feature, Kingdoms was a fantastic run, I’m curious if they would retheme to the current/old factions! As with old sets, I just got the reddish brown replacement bricks, I also got my mill village replacement parts and I’ll be happy to replace the broken ones or old ones. With that mentioned though they don’t sell a few colors in that set that made it difficult to get them through BL because they are priced a little higher priced than usual.(the dark green and dark blue colors on the tent especially hehe)

I bought two 31109 just for that reason, to modify, I also was inspired by Barracuda bay’s ship build and managed to combine some building and brick elements to the 31109 ship. I used a prior pirate ship, i think the red beard bounty for the sails that fit on my ship. With that mention a lot of members on this forum recommended and showed me how to make sails or can make them for you. 31109 is just a bunch of 1x1 bricks that are red, green and gold, you can re color them easily if you order the same amount through PaB, but you are right, redoing the 31109 ran me close to 150$ in extra parts just for that reason. Changing the hull is the most complicated one because they are stud narrower than using the old pre fabs and that would require redoing the entire ship so I left it brick built. The 31109 is a fun build but I always disliked the brick sails, however waiting on an imperial ship any time soon could take years and by that time you could rebuild your custom ship to your liking time and time again!!!

To be fair, 10223 was meant to be purchased twice, you could connect two of them to create a bigger joust set with more tents and longer village display with front and rear structures!!! Aside from the build the furniture is some of the best in castles, I still replicate as much as possible in all my medieval sets, like the dressers, tables, chair and nightstands, etc.

So relatively speaking how does the Great Hall fare up with the other versions released in the last 5 years, it’s funny how the roofs went from grey to green back to grey, but what are their plans?

My second order of torsos are standard so I’m right up there with you on that one! Only the Wolfpack was bestseller from what I noticed! I only got 5, I usually get 10 of everything but I’m on the same boat with waiting for the other 5. I like animals on my medieval sets and pirate ships. Fingers crossed!! Nice!!! I love them already, I wanted these torsos more than the grey goat but still, I was busy trying to order different 10 pieces to make my medieval people diverse! On the subject of GWP’s I think LEGO hates it when they rebuild them through PaB I certainly did, especially with the astronically expensive Harry Potter ones, I managed to get every single piece for the grand staircase and Gryffindor room through PaB. I had to type in the set numbers because they don’t pop up there automatically. I also got lucky from a Swiss seller that sold replica decals to complete the set, they look close to real lego decals though. The fence 1x4 in brown was sold out and I had Gold ones to fill in for a bit. Hell my next order is an extra Majisto Workshop, but what sucks as usual the dragon torso never came hehe.

The capes in that set is weird, the manual has the cape pack listed incorrectly, the missing bricks listing has the same capes that popped up, the set has two capes that doesn’t show up digitally anywhere and the box has a totally different ID LOL 6488972 and only has the brown and black cape. I completely overlooked that mistake because that 5 capes popped up with the new torsos and animals and the other cape is not the right id LOL. My bestseller order from the first finally arrived! The Wolf torso, Lion shield and a couple farm civiles! My Goats get here Monday or Tuesday! As much as we shit on PaB I’m just glad they switched the new torso to Bestsellers!

When i bought that cape pack, I had it sorted under the 10332, it’s how I found the goat, for some reason a lot of lego pieces weren’t showing up under “newest” and out of stock, I had to manually find them through the set function. I got lucky with the black tron sets, but even then the dragon torsos on BL were a bit cheap, what sucks is that shipping was ridiculous, but I was waiting for them to show up on PaB even though others swore up and down that it was a delay but what sucks is that it never happened. I’m not surprised, even searching for GWP sets on PAB is impossible unless you type in the set number, because they do not show up with the name. Usually Lego is stingy with torso and pieces unless new sets are aimed at coming out. Myself I’m not greedy because I only want a few torsos to diversify my lego sets but at the end of the day, I don’t know what changed with LEGO because PaB in 2021 was the greatest setup of all time to get extra lego pieces, ever since then it’s impossible.
