  1. That looks great, chris! ??
  2. Ooh! With LEGO really going for accuracy and detail (or at least more than ever)...designers probably will make the Diagon Alley brick wall entrance! Also, thank you everyone who replied to me and told me to not to worry because I didn't miss anything. You guys are awesome!
  3. Oh no! Pre-orders for US were up?! The Add to Bag option isn't there anymore. Guess I missed it.
  4. With covid-19, I don't think I'll be doing any feeling the bags this time around. :( I think I'll be buying a whole box maybe. Anyone else?
  5. I feel validated after hearing all of you guys against the staircase change in DH2! The changing staircases are so iconic since film 1, it would’ve been a tight squeeze but so exciting and heartbreaking to see students and Death Eaters fight as the stairs get blasted apart!
  6. I live in the US. But back in 2018, I pre-ordered at 9PM because I live on the west coast and it was midnight on the east coast. But, it has been an hour and I can't seem to pre-order it still. Maybe things have changed.
  7. Oh! The pieces can be seen here: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/hogwarts-room-of-requirement-75966 but now i recall it coming in a fantastic beasts set. And it is meant to be shot out of a minifigure’s hand. Darn! I was hoping to have spells coming out of the wands
  8. My excitement for each set: 1. For the Grawp set, I want to place the trees from the Aragog set and Expecto Patronum to compare them all. 2. I super appreciate the two thin pillars holding up a top heavy two stories! I spent the past 45 minutes comparing Burrow stills from COS, HBP and DH Part 1. 3. THE GREENHOUSE. Maybe it is the Hufflepuff in me but I loved the greenhouse back in 2007...so this is a treat. Dang, if I got two Astronomy Towers, I could add height and have two greenhouses! 4. I am excited for the sliding wall for the Room of Requirement! Do I also see blue clear pieces to place on the wands to represent the wisps that conjure when they start out performing the Patronus? 5. Blah, it seems like Harry and Ron still will not be able to sit side by side in this build.
  9. If Lego did want to put the COS under the Great Hall set, they could have the Chamber itself be under the hall, while the entrance with the snake door could be under the tower portion.
  10. I wonder if the new Ford Anglia will be the same build, or will they change it so both Harry and Ron can sit side by side.
  11. Ah, it probably is the Durmstrang ship. Hope they make a mast with the Durmstrang symbol on it! Interestingly, I am so excited for the Dursley house. I get this home-y feeling about building a small house at home in my warm bedroom. I know, I'm weird, but I am so excited!
  12. The Ravenclaw and Gryffindor common rooms are in towers. I super appreciate LEGO putting in Ravenclaw rather than Slytherin just because it is the second most prominent House. It would not be correct at all, but I'd love to turn the rumored greenhouse into a Hufflepuff common room.
  13. The new Knight Bus looks so good to me because it is so tall. But the more I look at it, I wonder: is it really tall? Or do the tall windows just makes it seem taller than it is? Is it the same height at the old Knight Busses?
  14. Yep! I agree with you too: https://2img.net/h/i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr213/tears-to-roses/Harry Potter/Forum Pics/clocktower_zpsbfad4071.jpg It perfectly represents it! Also, is the middle portion of the Clock Tower using the piece that was originally going to be the courtyard in the Great Hall: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/media.brothers-brick.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/LEGO-Harry-Potter-Hogwarts-TFNY-2018-FB-Cover-1-1024x538.jpg ?
  15. I agree with you! I think it is supposed to go on the other side. But because it has to stand alone on the box art and such, it looks more pleasing on the left so the photographers went with that pose.
  16. I am loving the center part of the clock tower! In case anyone is interested, the old clock tower double doors are 8 studs wide. You can make the whole clock tower taller and fit in the doors :)
  17. Holy crap!! I LOVE the clock tower build on the side. That will help connect it to the great hall too! and wow they got a lot of detailing at the clock portion. And the whole thing matches the great hall so well!!
  18. Does anyone else wish the trees from the Patronus set would match the trees from the Aragog set?
  19. Doclord, I’m feeling the same way about the Clock Tower. The original was so good and I have so many fond memories, my expectations for another one are way too high.
  20. With the new Jim Gordon leak, Gary Oldman just got two new minifigures of himself!
  21. I think if Lego did not have budget constraints, for the shrunken head, they would've definitely made a hair piece with an exposed stud on top. I imagine the hairpiece can hold the head piece exactly how Lego did the lanterns. There is nothing to keep the 1x1 yellow piece in but it never falls out!
  22. I love the Ernie we have already and the look of the upcoming one! This one is definitely more screen accurate with the bald on top. Oh goodness, I LOVE cedric. I wonder if his first task robes can double as Quidditch robes. ?
  23. FYI you guys, I bought an HP minifigure from the Lego store over the weekend...the price was 3.14 instead of the usual 3.99. The cashier said "they're phasing it out" I just wanted to let you guys all know in case anyone wants to stock up!
  24. Maybe they will include a giant clear dome to represent Prori Incantatem. Haha, just kidding! I'm in the same boat with you guys about the graveyard being a waste to make a big set. Maybe it will end up surprising us. imagine if the high price is because it includes the Riddle House lmao
