  1. Does anyone else's Three Broomsticks come with an extra ax?
  2. Nothing over here in southern California. The stores over here are very strict with their release dates. BUT, if something pops up, I will definitely let you know.
  3. Nah, if anything, McGonagall's strictness kept all the Gryffindors in line. I am religiously checking LEGO.com everyday for pre-orders to go up. June 1 is right around the corner though so I might just wait to physically walk into a LEGO store.
  4. @Textorix, that looks AMAZING! This is a great solution to the new sets being a different style. By the way, I love that you kept part of the staircase tower of the 2021 set to have sand green wedges under the gray tower roof. It matches the gray/green combination of the building (apologies, the name of that building is escaping me) that came with the Astronomy Tower. Edit: Nevermind, deleting my question because I found my answer on Bricklink
  5. LMAO. The middle Fluffy head probably looks like it is winking. I might use this as an excuse to buy duplicate sets: to get more Fluffy heads.
  6. With the Hogwarts clocktower 2004 set being my favorite set ever and the 2019 having lackluster interiors (the pendulum)...here's to hoping there's another clock tower remake in the 2021 style because I would love to have them tackle the pendulum again! (that is, if DH sets are for sure not happening anymore)
  7. You guys are bigger LEGO experts than I am so I wanted to ask: Does the mouth of Salazar Slytherin look tall enough for the Basilisk figure to slide through?
  8. Agreed. McGonagall is the best of the bunch. The department stores near me also have only Transfiguration and Potions. Edit: Took out the info you guys already said about gryffindor and slytherin being the most popular houses.
  9. Ooh! I wonder if LEGO would ever make a D2C just of Dumbledore's office: accurate both inside and outside?
  10. I wonder if the picture of the six golden figures are cropped from the actual boxes. They seem to be placed on the bottom right corner of the boxes.
  11. You aren't the only one who finds the badge on their school uniform sweaters to seem more film accurate! It wasn't until the other day that I realized the badges are inaccurate but I loved them more WITH the badge.
  12. Dang, if we are back to a 7(?) stud wide Great Hall, would a lectern with an owl wing-stretch piece take up most of that width?
  13. Oops! I take it back! Thanks for the reminder!
  14. If the new Quidditch set is only $30 compared to the 2018 set at $40, do you guys think it is enough to make stands for all four houses? That's why I love the 2018 set versus the other two Quidditch sets.
  15. Someone here once brought up that WB -possibly- wants to have the HP Legos mimic the theme parks. With how DA and micro Hogwarts turned out, put me in the boat with those who say they won't make Gringotts without the dragon on top. Oh! When TLG does make Gringotts, I hope they aim to make it three story. Having all six pillars will be so nice to look at!
  16. If the brick-built Remembrall rumors are true: Joking aside, I remember 13 year old me LOVED the Remembrall LEGO piece...so I personally would love a brick-built one!
  17. It's a dark-reddish brown in the first movie. I still love it, though! I can't wait to have a McGonagall with a bun!
  18. Is her outfit based off of the deleted scene of POA where McGonagall sees the Gryffindors in the common room after Sirius Black broke in? Edit: nevermind! I see Guyon's post. Ignore mine :)
  19. Oh! Good point that it could be his Head Boy badge. I recall my 12 year old self thinking, "Maybe the filmmakers didn't want his robes to reveal that he is a Slytherin in the flashback." And too bad for the stripes not being on his legs too. I guess it's LEGOs way of saving money...having one print for legs that work for as many robes and suits as possible.
  20. Whoa. I had this exact thought this morning! I figured the 2018-2020 accurate sets could sit on my shelf. Then the anniversary sets could sit on my desk because if I don't compare them to the 2018-2020 style, they're pretty! I am kinda stoked for the Tom Riddle figure. I've always wondered why Tom's robes has an H instead of the Slytherin crest in the film. But glad to see this was replicated into the minifigure unlike the 2002 Tom.
  21. Do you MOC your sets, Juve? My thoughts on the $250 being a chess set? At first I didn't care for it. I like to think they will make each chess piece buildable and they will be decently sized because of the price. Hopefully, the board is more than a flat board and they make it, for lack of better term, "very HP": a few columns and bits of fire pieces to surround the board maybe?
  22. I recall in an interview with the GH 2018 designer. He pushed for grey roofs whilst higher ups pushed for green roofs. From the Clock Tower to the Astronomy Tower, more green appeared on the roofs. Do you think the anniversary set of the old waves was a way to get back green roofs? Just hope they don't make them all green moving forward.
  23. For those who have seen the leaks: Did Hogsmeade get leaked? May I ask how many buildings it comes with? Will we have to buy multiple to make it look like a "full" Hogsmeade? Thanks in advance!
  24. Thank you! I hope he comes with a hat! If not, that's cool too. He already looks so good.
  25. Even though my minifigure scale Hogwarts castle already fills my shelf...I am SO curious if there will be more Hogwarts expansions. Looking at the $100+ ones....I hope two of them are giant Hogwarts buildings! Edit: Also, my worries for the sales of this theme is slowly fading. It seems more popular than ever if LEGO is producing so many sets. WAIT...if they're "anniversary" sets, I'm afraid they may me remakes. With the Great Hall being remade many times, in my head it seems fitting to slap a 20th Anniversary banner on a remake than a Hogwarts building they've never built before.
