One of the unfortunate side effects of becoming an adult is a tendancy to categorize things. Children typically don't do that. We (as adults) look at a theme like Nexo Knights and immediately try to fit it into a predefined category. We say, "Is this a Castle theme or a Space theme?" Children (my children, at least) aren't concerned with categories. They look at Nexo Knights and say, "Robot knights! Cool!" I would argue that Lego's transition from traditional themes (those that fit easily into a defined category) to braoder, more difficult to define themes is simply the natural evolution of the brand.

It looks like it would be really easy to mod the stand so that it has a couple extra studs for the figure to attach to....

I bought Lego Large Creative Box (10697) at Walmart yesterday for $5.

I found the Batman in the Phantom Zone polybag (30522) for $1.19 at Target today. I bought six.

Battle packs used to be the only Lego sets I was willing to pay full price for. That may change soon....

I just bought The Elves' Treetop Hideaway (41075) at Books-A-Million for $12.

Belle looks good to me.... Beast really doesn't (in my opinion)....

I really want that mushroom monster minifig; but I doubt TLG will make it (unless, as BrickJagger pointed out, Nexo Knights lasts longer than three years).

Each of these sets comes with a printed tile featuring a stylized Brickheadz icon and a "1" in a word bubble, which suggests to me that TLG is planning to release at least one more wave.

The official version is less symetrical (the top hatch on the rear uses a different assembly than the top hatch on the front), which makes it appear less cylindrical (in my opinion, at least). Ramses25's configuration uses identical top hatches on both the front and the back, which looks much better (again, in my opinion).

Wow! Everything about this model is brilliant! I especially like the way the hands are constructed.

I like the way you've constructed the cockpit fuselage. It emulates the tube-like shape of the TIE Striker better than TLG's version, in my opinion.

I honestly have no idea why it was that cheap. I walked all the way to the self checkout line thinking it was too good to be true. When I got there, I scanned the clearance sticker on the front (I've had experiences in the past--at several Walmart stores--where scanning the clearance sticker causes the item to ring up at the clearance price while scanning the bar code on the box causes it to ring up at full price; it's happened so often that I got into the habit of going to the self checkout line so I don't have to watch the cashier like a hawk to make sure he / she scans the right bar code) and--much to my chagrin--it rang up as "ITEM NOT FOUND". The clerk at the checkout line tried it and got the same result. She called a manager, who tried it and got the exact same result. I was about to give up (thinking it was, indeed, too good to be true) when the clerk suggested scanning the bar code on the box. I did and it rang up for $17. By the way, I recently purchased a Classic Lego Large Creative Box (10697) on after-Christmas clearance for $19. I didn't have any problems at the checkout line this time, thankfully.

My personal top three are Glam Metal Batman, March Harriet, and Calculator. Orca would be on the list if she didn't have gills....

I just discovered this thread; but now that I have, I can say with absolute certainty that I will be checking it daily from now 'til Christmas. Everything you have posted here is awesome, Yooha.

I recently picked up a Nexo Knights The Fortrex (70317) at Walmart for $17, which is probably the best deal I've ever gotten on a LEGO set.
