  1. I just bought three copies of The Nether Fortress (21122) from Books-A-Million for $10 each.
  2. I took another trip to Walmart today. I bought Catwoman Catcycle Chase for $9, Rapunzel's Best Day Ever for $7, and Chirrut Imwe for $5.
  3. Here's my top five: 5) The Batwing 4) The Penguin's Arctic Roller 3) Killer Croc's Tail Gator 2) Catwoman's Catcycle Chase 1) The Scuttler
  4. Those white pieces on the Bat-Space Shuttle are rather jarring. I hope the final model will be entirely black (or very, very dark gray).
  5. Even at $2.00 a pack, they are expensive for what you actually get. That probably wouldn't matter if the game was popular; but I get the feeling that it wasn't (my son lost interest in it pretty quickly).
  6. Nice find!
  7. I wouldn't be surprised if Series 2 of the Nexo Power Packs doesn't get released in some regions (like the last wave of Star Wars planets and the last wave of Chima constraction figures didn't get released in North America). Here in the U.S., some retailers couldn't even sell them for half price. I watched in amazement last Thursday as a Target employee emptied a nearly full box of Series 1 packs (which were marked 50% off) into the store's "donate" bin. It was too late for me to save them.... :(
  8. Those are some nice mods, legozebra.
  9. I sincerely hope not. I was never able to accquire the TLBM keychain because there aren't any Cinemark theaters near me.
  10. Thanks, ZORK64.
  11. Have we seen this set before?
  12. My son is a huge fan of Star Wars; but he isn't a huge fan of The Force Awakens That didn't stop me from buying him the entire line of constraction figures based on the movie, though (it helps that I found most of them on sale). While he was putting together Poe Dameron, he told me that he wished he had a second Luke Skywalker head so he could turn it into Pilot Luke. Being the indulgent father (and avid bargain seeker) that I am, I did exactly that. Here is the result: We didn't want Luke's pilot suit to look identical to Poe's, so we changed a few things. We replaced all the white in Poe's suit with black (it would have been better to use gray; but we didn't have the necessary pieces in gray). We also changed the hose setup slightly. It's not very movie-accurate; but we were both happy with it. He has already requested another Luke Skywalker head so he can make a "Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise" figure....
  13. Before heading to the store, I suggest visiting Walmart's website (https://www.walmart.com/). If you click on the "My Local Store" link at the top of the page, it will take you to a search engine where you can look up the inventory--including prices--of the stores closest to you. Choose a store from the list near the top of the page (you may have to enter your ZIP code) and then type in a key word to search for ("lego" works well for me). If you don't find any good deals, you can save yourself a trip to the store. Bear in mind that most Walmarts (in my area, at least) list all clearance items as "out of stock" on the website; so if the search engine shows some good deals but says the items are out of stock, it is still worth making a trip to the store to check (there's a 50/50 chance--based on my experience--that the items will still be there). There have been several times that I have found great deals on the inventory checker and arrived at the store to buy them before the prices on the shelves had been changed (the Battle on Takodana set I bought on Monday was still marked as full price on the shelf but it rang up for $15--which matched the price on the website--at the register). I hope this helps.
  14. I took another trip to Walmart. This time, I bought Killer Croc Tail-Gator (70907) for $30 and The Scuttler (70908) for $30.
  15. I bought Battle on Takodana (75139) for $15 at Walmart today.
  16. Walmart is clearing their shelves to make room for the new wave of sets. I just bought Magic Rescue from the Goblin Village (41185) for $20, Lance's Twin Jouster (70348) for $7, and The Water Dragon Adventure (41172) for $7.
  17. I bought the following at Walmart today: Queen Dragon's Rescue (41179) for $35, Super Hero High School (41232) for $30, and Lashina Tank (41233) for $5.
  18. Honestly, I had never heard of Deadpool Duck before; but now that I have, I really want that minifig. It was a really good choice for an exclusive, in my opinion.
  19. It's a trick of the light, due to the angle at which the picture was taken. The glare from the clamshell case makes the bottom half of the legs look like they're a different color: The official photo is taken head-on, so there is no such glare:
  20. This was fun while it lasted. You will be missed, VaderFan2187.
  21. Touche'. I keep forgetting that a new Jurrasic World movie is coming.
  22. Pictures of the constraction figures for The Last Jedi are on the LEGO Shop's russian site. They include: - A First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter Pilot (with red stripes on the helmet). It uses a new helmet mold with tubes that attach to a chest apparatus (constructed similarly--but not identical--to the one on Poe Dameron) and comes with a spring-loaded blaster rifle. - A new version of Rey (without a hat). I think this might be the first female Star Wars constraction figure TLG has made that doesn't have some sort of headgear. She comes with a lightsaber (with a blue blade) and a blaster pistol. She has a cloth element around her hips but not around her torso. - A member of the First Order Praetorian Guard (which appears to be a heavily armored version of the red Imperial Guards). It is almost completely red and comes with a strangely-shaped staff (it has blades on both ends that hold minifig-sized lightsaber pieces; it looks really odd). It has a new helmet mold and appears to use a new shell type on its upper arms. It has a long red cloth peice that covers its hips and legs. - And Chewbacca, who appears to be taller than the other figures. His upper arms, forearms, upper legs, and lower legs all use the new thigh shell (with tons of printing to represent his fur). He comes with his bowcaster (which includes a spring-loaded shooter) and his bandolier, which is recreated using light bluish gray clips attached to a rubber piece (BrickLink Part No. 98567) that wraps diagonally around his torso.
