  1. Nice concept. I'll have to investigate these a bit more in the future. They do give off space police vibes though. Not sure if this was intended.
  2. Nice shape, appearantly foldable landing struts, and very easy to get in the cockpit. What more would a mini pilot need?
  3. Beautifully done. And as 12 Volts says, kuddo's on the way you did the screens of the workstations in the back. If you finish the screen, you might start thinking of a turbolift attachment, and the captain's day cabin?
  4. Pre-ordering is always a fluid thing. You can never know for sure which fans will at what time decide to order. The 150k production limit was never changed. The set limit was only (virtually) adjusted upwards to accomodate the most ordered sets, and I reckon the Bricklink team took a hard look at how the least ordered sets did before increasing the cap of the most ordered sets. To me it looks like the Bricklink team did the right thing to halt orderering of the top 3 sets. W.A.L.T. and Antique Cabinet had roughly a 1000 extra orders in the last couple hours. If taken into account the Stonewars numbers in Yperio_Bricks post (which I know are on the low side, my last calculation after the latest decrease of the Alchemist Shop's cap had nearly 40k of preorders for this set alone), BDP7 was literally bumping the production limit. My feeling is the Bricklink team made the right call a couple hours ago.
  5. I just checked, and as I write this the Antique Collection and W.A.L.T. sets have a bit over 30k pre-orders. So if STONEWARS is even remotely correct with the other 3 sets, there are less then 5k availabilities left to reach the 150k production limit. Those adjustions are more likely canceled pre-orders that were put in the data. It is telling that the numbers of the three most-ordered sets all went down. I stand by what I said, the Bricklink team has half a dozen series of pre-order data under its belt, so are able to make predictions.
  6. The Bricklink Team does have half a dozen series worth of pre-order data under its belt now, so they're in a position to make predictions.
  7. The instructions of all Series 6 sets are available through (at least) the Series 6 page on Bricklink.
  8. That's a nice combination of sideway-placed bricks with plates/tiles on the path. It is barely noticable the walkway goes down. The detailing on the house flows really well from one part to the next. I really have to zoom in on the walls to see where you stack plates/bricks, and where you used the sideway method. In comparison, the foreground slope looks maybe a bit too barren.
  9. Oh, a goodie! I wonder how difficult it would be to fill up the wings and lengthen the fuselage.
  10. I can't remember if the movie showed this much of the complex. Great work!
  11. That's a nice undercarriage for the scooter. The dwelling looks perfect for a remote farmers housing. And the sidebuilds (antenna/condenser and harvest boxes) complement the set well.
  12. I look forward to seeing the model from more angles once voting starts.
  13. A Massive effort. She has a good color scheme, the masts seems to be in the right positions, and you left plenty of space between the gun hatches on the lower gun decks. Most builders leave it at 3 or 4 studs between the cannon hatches. From detailing, I like those golden wings on the upper stern, those golden epaulets, the lanterns, and the curvature of the stern sides. Those red crabs look a bit out of place. No golden crabs in your possession? What seems to be missing is an indication of the gaff sail and the jibs. Also, the curved 'railing' from the poop deck should continue a bit forward so the stairs leading to the deck are covered. Those spots seem a bit unprotected as it is.
  14. That's a really shitty situation to come upon... That said, the topic is nicely displayed. Maybe an improvement would be an actual qlcove at the window the noble and the bishop are standing?
  15. I don't exactly remember which was the first set that I got back in '78 or '79. Might be the Knights' Tournament, the Knights Procession, or one of the Classic Space sets that came out back then (either the Space Shuttle (442) or the Space Transport (918)).
