  1. I definitely agree with you there. It's not my favorite show but most of the acting is pretty decent. People give it a lot of crap that it doesn't deserve. Sure, it's not as great as I'd like it to be but I'm a hardcore marvel fan so I'll watch it to keep up on the MCU
  2. I agree. Although I think it's most likely that Jarvis will turn into Ultron somehow. However, I don't think he'll stay as Ultron forever. I think they'll become separate entities
  3. I always thought his bodily organs and such we made of synthetic material but I could also be wrong. Isn't a cyborg like half human, half robot? I don't think Ultron used any organic parts to create the Vision given his disgust and pure hatred for all of humanity
  4. Idk, I don't think Coulson is a full on robot. The vision is though. Coulson is still human so that's what sets them apart. The vision is made of synthetic material. Coulson isn't. Plus he can't fly, shoot lasers, or phase through things so I'm not exactly sure how they would "unlock" those things if he does turn out to be the vision. If he turns into the vision it's definitely going to pull me out of the world because coulson flying around and shooting beams from a diamond on his head would be weird. I guess I would be okay if Ultron kidnapped him or something and then turned him into the vision but I'd still prefer coulson and vision to be separate. Plus Coulson won't be in avengers 2 anyway so that doesn't see like it'll happen :/ I think Deathlok is a good guess. I'd never heard of him before but now that I've looked him up it does seem pretty likely.
  5. NO. Sorry, but Ultron HAS to make the Vision if he is going to be in it, in my honest opinion. Vision was created to destroy the avengers. I mean, Marvel isn't afraid to change creators since antman isn't creating Ultron but the Vision turns on Ultron and becomes part of the avengers because he realizes he doesn't have to take orders from Ultron and can think for himself. The vision is like the biggest mistake Ultron made in a way. Also, because Ultron makes him it sets up a whole level of internal conflict with who he is and why he was created. Now, I'm sure that could be paralleled with Coulson wondering who he is and why SHIELD brought him back but I just don't want that. And the vision struggles with his emotions and whether or not he can feel anything! It seems to me that clearly Coulson can still feel emotions since his revival. He was crying in the last episode and screaming in pain. The vision wouldn't experience that. If Coulson turns out to be "The Vision" he's not going to be the Vision, he's going to be Coulson who looks like the vision. Plus I really want Zachary Quinto to voice the Vision. And Coulson just doesn't sound like a Robot.
  6. Mike Peterson woke up in an undisclosed place on a stretcher with serious burns all over his body. He also had large centipede serum things strapped to his arms and one leg amputated at the knee. He then sat up and was calling around when he received a message across his vision "Stand by for further instructions" meaning he has the ocular implants as well.
  7. So if we really are getting an xmen set with a sentinel as some people are claiming we might, is it just going to be a minifig sized one? While it would still be cool to have one, couldn't lego just make a sentinel figure the size of the minifig clocks that they make? That way they would be as large as they are in the game (the big version). I also wish they would do this with Galactus. It would be so cool.
  8. Well marvel also has 5 movies coming out this year so I imagine Lego wants to try and boost off as much of that as possible. DC has 0 movies coming out this year. The way I see it is that Marvel is a much more marketable theme because they are much more prevalent, I guess you could say, in pop culture. DC has nothing to boost their sets this year really. Last year they had man of steel but this year they have nothing. I'm not saying there shouldn't be an equal amount of sets because I totally think there should, but I can see why Lego is pushing Marvel this wave/year, even if it is greedy. This is just my opinion on why there are more marvel sets. I might be wrong but I feel like this has something to do with it.
  9. I think that would look even better than a big fig and hope lego goes that route. His head piece can be rather tall as well to add to his height. Actually Ronan the accuser is the main villain in the movie.
  10. Very happy we finally got confirmation of these sets! And that we get a Storm! But if she doesn't have her molded hairpiece, I'm going to be very disappointed and upset.
  11. I'm pretty sure they just dropped the misty mountain goblins all together in favor of the gundabad orcs lead by azog which is really disappointing because they are the ones actually fighting in the battle of five armies. Not this magical army of orcs sauron somehow mustered together. I say that they dropped them because the misty mountain ones were peach colored and these guys are brown.
  12. That sounds like a total nightmare. Just introduce them and say they were born with their powers. And let Ultron take the lead, it's the "age of ultron" not Baron Strucker. Plus it's already bad enough ultron won't be made by antman, so I hope they don't give scarlet witch and quicksilver a fake father as well. I don't understand why that really even needs to be discussed if they don't have the rights to use magnetos name. Just cut their ties to him.
  13. Saw Frozen and loved it! Wish there were a couple more songs in it though. Especially one toward the end would've been nice. It was a very charming movie though!
  14. I'd say see it, but set your expectations very very low. The last movie I saw before DoS was catching fire which was unbelievably accurate so my expectations were set extremely high which led to me being sorely let down because of how far DoS strayed from the real story. I approved of many changes peter jackson made with the lotr movies but a lot of the choices in this movie were very unnecessary. Try and pretend it's not based on a book at all and you might end up liking it more than I did. Now this sounds very negative and probably doesn't lighten your hopes any, but I did really really enjoy what little there was of mirkwood and smaug is just truly magnificent. So I think you should see it and decide for yourself if you like it or not.
  15. Paul Rudd was cast as Ant Man! I think he'll fit in quite nicely with RDJ and Mark Ruffalo and everybody!
  16. But what good would beorn be against sauron? Beorn is only brute strength and has no magic or powers really at all. And if he does it's never mentioned in the book. I hope there is more in mirkwood such as bilbo enticing the spiders more and him leading them away. That'd make me very happy :) Maybe even the enchanted river with bombur. I'm still waiting for him to have a line...
  17. Is that a printed piece for taskmaster's shield or a sticker? If it's a sticker could you maybe put it on captain america's shield or would that look like crap?
  18. Saw Desolation of Smaug twice and it was god awful both times. I almost started crying. Terrible, terrible adaptation. The only thing I enjoyed was the spiders talking and smaug. Other than that, almost nothing.
  19. Well I saw the movie and absolutely hated it. As for the the sets: The Beorn one never happened, Dol guldur is decent for the most part, Mirkwood Elf Army is not that great of a representation, and Lake Town is pretty good. Smaug definitely would've been nice though and I would really like him. Back to the first wave: Mirkwood spiders is accurate I guess although the spiders look a lot cooler in the movie and barrel escape is pretty decent too.
  20. Sorry, I just got a little heated. I liked the first movie for the most part but I could barely watch this one. I might have been a little dramatic though with the "true fan" part. And I get that it's an adaptation of the hobbit and the unfinished tales but the hobbit part of that adaptation is not accurate in the slightest. Maybe catching fire being so close to the book just set me up for failure, idk
  21. Saw it last night at midnight and can honestly say I hated it. That was not what my father read to me when I was little. It was the worst adaptation of a book I've ever seen. It just deviated from the book so much that I wanted to get up and leave. I'm just so disappointed. Peter Jackson tries so hard to connect this with the other trilogy that it makes me mad. They're two separate stories so keep them that way god. I'm sure people who read the book will like it but any true fan shouldn't. To be completely and utterly honest, if you're a true fan and you liked it then you should be ashamed. If Tolkien wouldn't like it why should you. Great job appealing to the true fans, PJ. Great job.
  22. I think this is fake if you ask me. I don't see them making amon hen, especially if it doesn't include any new figs. Big waste of a set and money. Wouldn't even make any money. And with the witch king showdown it says it includes a "Nazgul". I'm assuming they mean a fell-beast because the nazgul are the ringwraiths. That takes away from the credibility. And Gondor soldiers and a troll being the only new figs in a minas tirith set? No way. There'd be denethor or faramir. Same goes with Osgoliath. A ranger is not enough of a selling point. This is fake fake fake fake fake. Lego is usually pretty decent with figs so I say no way
  23. That's true, I'm just thinking that maybe ironman somehow injected it into a suit or something and Ultron will take it over possibly. Maybe that's a little farfetched haha
  24. O I know! But I think it will somehow tie in with Ultron still. I think if Tony perfected it or something, Ultron would get it and use it to repair himself so he'd be indestructible without being sued by fox for giving him adamantium armor I believe he appears as both. At first he's the classic Electro and then transforms into the ultimate Electro.
  25. Hey, give some credit where credit is due. Mandarin was rip off yes, but the character development of iron man was fantastic especially with his PTSD and everything. Very realistic to me especially since I was in a psychology class at the time. I feel a lot of movies would have just written that off and had ironman be fine despite the alien invasion so seeing the realism marvel is known for was great. It also showed Tony doesn't necessarily need his suit to be super! (although it does help). I do however, feel the villain was underdeveloped and so was the extremis virus. We didn't really learn much about it at all. Kind of a waste. I'm sure it will have a bigger role in avengers 2 with Ultron probably having it or something. Plus it was kinda implied Iron Man has it in him. The big battle location at the end was also very random to me. It seemed they just wanted a good place to have a final battle so they put it there. On another note, I do hope we get more than 1 GotG set and xmen set. I'm predicting 3 GotG and 2 Xmen
