  1. I'm thinking it is as well but the ronan on the box has what looks like a printed hood or helmet and that black figure does not. Nor is it holding his hammer.
  2. That smaller black ship is shown shooting one of those missiles I guess no fin for him though. Maybe it's printed on his head though. I recall reading the fin would be scaled down from the comics but that he would have one.
  3. I'm thinking maybe Yondu? I'm thinking it has 4 minifigs. Look at the bottom left hand corner of the box. It looks like it could fit 4 minifigs in the lineup
  4. Yes, I do. Not as much as the marvel but I have a decent amount of knowledge about DC heroes and villains. I only used batman as an example because when I think of "serious" and "DC" I personally think of Batman so I addressed him specifically. Forgive me if that's a tad ignorant of me. I'm not the biggest batman fan
  5. Sweet! But it looks like Starlord is holding a lantern with switches on it? And where all the marvel figs are set up who is the black figure with the black hood/hair next to thor? Also there's a fig with a blue head and a purple body 2 figures over in between modok and cyclops. Who is that?
  6. I understand that, it's just not my type of kids show. I like a lot of animation it's just this particular type isn't my favorite. I have nothing against them, I'd just prefer a bit of a more mature marvel animated show.
  7. Yeah I imagine those shows suck. I've seen a few of ultimate spider-man. It was okay I guess. It relied too much on slap stick humor though and I generally don't like that kind of comedy. I'm alright getting sets from it though, I'd just like to see more spider-man variants because I'm not overly fond of the current one they keep giving to us over and over.
  8. I hardly call any of the marvel movies comedies. They have a lot of comedic elements but don't represent the over-all tone. As for shows, Ultimate Spider-man does try and make everything way too comical though. And what spin-offs are you referring to? The movies or shows? I don't watch any of the animated shows so I wouldn't really know but Marvel is typically known for being funny and realistic. In my opinion, batman is way too serious to take seriously. Hence why even the lego movie is making fun of him for it.
  9. I wouldn't exactly call a November 19th release and a February 7th release very close. That's almost 3 months.
  10. There was just no way any of the avengers could have gotten to london in time either. The battle took place in the matter of 15 minutes. I don't think Thor necessarily disliked any of the avengers. At the end of the movie they all departed as equals and seemingly friends
  11. I'd say most likely June or maybe late May
  12. Yeah that's true. But I doubt Thor would have the time to hear about the battle on TV, fly across the atlantic ocean (He's in london, right?) all the way over to D.C. by the time that big and epic battle is happening. It'd probably be over by the time he could get there.
  13. Idk, I took it as Thor was on Earth now. That way he's already on Earth so they don't have to waste time bringing him back here for avengers 2.
  14. I mean to be honest, Darth Vader was never that fantastic to begin with. He looks awesome and sounds awesome and has a great deal of presence on screen. However, he's a terrible fighter and sith lord. He literally just swings his arms around. He doesn't do anything in the movies other than strangle some people and throw the emperor down the reactor shaft and that didn't even require any skills. He can't even move fast and would've lost quickly in a fight against any capable jedi. Same with Luke. He's a terrible jedi. The only thing he does is guide the missile down the reactor shaft and blow up the death star. Don't get me wrong, I love darth vader (NOT ANAKIN), star wars, and the original trilogy but the characters weren't perfect to begin with. Actually Thor is on Earth now (it was revealed in the credits of thor 2 that he's back on earth) so he could technically appear whenever he wants.
  15. Yes it is. If you don't like it, don't tune in to it every week...no one is forcing you to do so. Some people out there enjoy AoS, myself included. Not everyone thinks it's a bad show. (It's really not). Same goes with star wars. If you only like the original trilogy, don't watch the prequels! It's simple as that. The prequels haven't "damaged" the original trilogy at all. Vader wasn't a big baby in them before the prequels came out, so he isn't magically one afterwards either.
  16. Okay, I think we get it that you're a DC fan..doesn't mean they deserve all the exclusives..A tumbler is a dumb waste of the slot. Batman doesn't need any more vehicles.
  17. Maybe after it fails they'll sell the rights back to marvel?
  18. I would probably say The empire strikes back is my favorite. Then maybe Revenge of the Sith or Return of the Jedi? RotS is okay. I hate Anakin though but I love all of the Jedi. So probably Return of the Jedi. My least favorite would have to be phantom menace because the only cool part is the duel at the end. Also because they totally underdeveloped Darth Maul. He could've been a lot cooler but he was only in the movie for about 5 minutes total. I also dislike a new hope. I've just always found it boring..don't hate me.
  19. Yeah I heard about that. That's so dumb. Dr Doom is a dude! My dad would be so mad if I told him this...Johnny needs to be white as well for obvious reasons. I agree Reed could work as black..I'm really not looking forward to this reboot at all. They're going to jack it up. Hmm..that's interesting. I'm not sure if they'll sell spider-man but I suppose there's a chance? It'd be awesome if they did.
  20. There's no way ultron would be a big fig. He's human sized and is probably just gonna be an iron man suit one way or another. I'd be really mad if they made him a big fig. And he's most likely going to be vibranium seeing as how in the movies it's almost the same thing as adamantium and it's silver as well.
  21. That's technically a separate vision. They share the name but that's about it. They weren't even created by the same comic book artists. Whedon's using the vision ultron created.
  22. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to use it unless they (idiotically) sold the term "adamantium" along with xmen to fox. I mean adamantium's first appearance in the comics was for ultron! I really hope they can use it. If not, I think they'll just say he's made of vibranium which has already been established in the movies just not as cool
  23. No, it was officially confirmed. Although a report said make up artists were trying a lot of makeup for vision's "chalk-white complexion" which is weird because vision has red skin. I hope he sticks to red skin. He would look weird with white...Hopefully he looks sweet though.
  24. I highly highly doubt it. Ultron probably won't create him until at least halfway through the movie. Unless it's iron man that creates vision and shield that makes ultron or something dumb like that. But there wouldn't be very much time for a romance to start and it would be very forced especially when both characters are still being introduced at the same time. I would expect it in avengers 3. Plus don't forget vision was made to kill the avengers so he should be a villain for a majority of his screen time.
  25. I doubt it. If anyone can pull it off it's Whedon. I think he deserves our trust. Plus Ultron is the villain so I doubt avengers 1 can be better unless they completely screw him up.
