Thank you very much for your nice comments, General Armendariz, Wout and the Inventor! I really don't understand why the according folder of my BS gallery isn't yet public - it's now more than 24 hours since I "rescaned" it. And like it is now you can't see all the additional pics. Thanks, General Armendariz! I tried the best to make it looking as realistic as possible and including everything necessary. Thanks, Wout! Yes, the Town Plan cinema had only very few sets. But you can't await everything from a 150 Euros set. Nevertheless it is an absolutely awesome set and imo until now the best City set ever! Thanks, the Inventor! I definately wanted to create that little room for the camera. Regrettably that folder of my BS gallery is not yet public - otherwise you could see a clearer pic of the camera from the front. To the people: A SF thriller was played in the cinema. Suddenly the aliens jumped out of the screen, took the guests with them and leaved through the screen. Nobody knows where they are gone. Rumours say that these people were forced by the commander of the aliens - a very cruel one btw - to build the next MOC - a vaudeville - which shall even outgun the cinema. Btw: Welcome to EB, the Inventor! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that news, BatonMedved! Please don't call me unpolite - but because of some bad experiences about "mailmen" bringing news about new sets to us without real prove I won't believe before we get an official or unofficial confirmation or pics. I personally am a bit sceptic about this possible new theme: Of course it'll (hopefully) be nothing similar to the Aquazone theme from 2007 since it'll be a subtheme of City! So perhaps we could see some redesigns of the Aqua Mission sets from the mid-ninetees (without mutated sea monsters or other fantasy creatures) - that would be awesome! On the one hand I think it could well be since - this theme would offer a lot of vehicles and action (mainly important for TLG's main audience, the JFOLs) - this theme hasn't been there for now more than ten years - the sword fish in the Pirates Advent Calendar and the octopus in one of the regular Pirates sets might be used for a new Aqua Mission theme On the other hand I doubt it since - I can't remember that in the power point presentation on one of TLG's employees there wasn't mentioned some theme like this being that demanded among us FOLs - so it would be a bit strange to make a survey but then not release the sets which are demanded - this theme would be something very exceptionnel and a totally own theme which does not fit that good with the rest of the City sets until now I personally would perhaps like this theme. But nevertheless I'd much more prefer to get some extensions to the awesome 7641 City Life - a post office, a bank, an armored car, a grocery and a delivery van - since they are much more neccessary than some aqua mission sets! So I only have to say: Let's surprise us! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that news, Navy Trooper Fenson! 15 Euros is payable - I think - since it comes with this awesome exclusive minifigure! So I'll very supposably buy this book. I found a more precise description of the book here (regrettably only in German). I totally agree with you, Jammiedodger714! Well, do you think it might be that the Tantive 4 comes with a very small command center of Javin 4 and perhaps even with Javin 4 Han and Leia minifigures? I don't think so. But I really hope that we'll see a Javin 4 Base in the next years! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much, alex12! Well, I do what I can. The shopping center is my favourite one. It would be really awesome if TLG would take some of my ideas and make them into real sets since more shops and especially a mall would be ! Not that I at all events call for any price or something for that - I would be already very happy to "only" be aible to buy them (of course overworked by TLG since my design can be surely improved, there should be some stickers added and the minifig constellation could and should be improved, too). Hello everybody! In the summer semester holidays of 2008 I built following MOC: Cinema This is a part of a pedestrian zone of a big city: On the left side there are three different houses with shops: Inside these houses there is - on the left side on the first floor a coiffeur, on the second floor an estate agency and on the third floor a bed room, - in the mddle on the first floor a bar, on the second floor an illegal gambling den and upstairs a roof terrace and - on the right side on the first floor an Italian restaurant-pizzeria, on the second floor a living room and on the third floor an attic On the right side there is a big cinema palace: Inside it there is - on the first floor the cash point and a snack bar and - on the second floor the movie theater Some details: - the movie theater: - the room with the camera and the stairway: - the snack bar: - the show boxes of the cinema: - the bar: - the illegal gambling den: - the living room Many more pics can be found in this folder of my BS gallery (when public). Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Thanks, 3D Brickthing! I totally agree with you: a Lego Store with some minifig-scaled Lego sets would be ! Klaus-Dieter

That's an absolutely awesome MOC, RebelRock! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and the details are stunning! Perhaps some more minifigs would add more life to it. Otherwise it's perfect! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

I have three new ideas for Impulse sets as additions to the awesome 10199 Christmas Cottage: Man With Snowblower a little snowblower including some snowballs minifig: man with winter cap Female Skier including two skis, two ski sticks, a rucksack and a tree minifig: female skier with helmet and gloves (like the one of a Hoth Rebel Trooper in the Echo Base set) Mountain Rescuer including two skis, two ski sticks, a long stack, a handy, a shovel, an ice pick and a rucksack minifig: mountain rescuer with fur cap (like the one of Solo in the Echo Base set) Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that awesome news, Navy Trooper Fenson! We already have got a pic of the Visual Dictionary since long - but I think that everybody thought that it'll be only in English. But it's even in German! The Luke minifigure looks really - to make it Yavin 4 was a great idea! Hopefully we'll then see a Yavin Base in the next years, too, with an awesome Princess Leia minifigure in Yavin 4 style ! I actually regrettably fear that it will be quite expensive, The Rancor! Surely minimum that expensive than the Collector's Guide - but supposably even more expensive since firstly it's "only" about SW (which means license costs) and secondly because that exclusive Luke minifigure is included. So I don't know whether I'll be aible to afford this one! I'm not that much interested in the visual dictionary - but I want that exclusive minifigure! This year really lets explode my wallet with its so many awesome SW OT and City sets! And next year will surely be as good - and even as expensive - as this year! Klaus-Dieter

Having seen the lovely chrome silver stormtrooper magnet I now had an idea: Do you think that there'll be a chrome gold C-3PO included in the Tantive 4? Or a chrome silver ...-3PO (like seen in the same scene when the Tantive 4 is attacked by the stormies)? Perhaps that's too far - but nevertheless a thought. Klaus-Dieter

[REVIEW] Anniversary Silver Stormtrooper Magnet
Klaus-Dieter replied to PDQAg's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Why not a minifig-scaled chrome Rancor?! You don't like the silver stormtrooper magnet, do you? Klaus-Dieter -
I totally agree with you, Richie, since I couldn't have expressed myself better than you did with this statement! The current "Castle" theme is - apart from the awesome MVV (but which is an Exclusive) - imo really ! Playmobil shows that kids not neccessarily need fantasy creatures in order to have much fun playing with toys. If TLG releases a Roman theme which would be like the current "Castle" theme (meaning with many fantasy creatures, a lot of war vehicles that never have been existing and other fatal historical uncorrectness) where is then the difference to the current "Castle" theme (when you don't count the different torsos) and where is then the voice which says "What beautiful sets - I really must have them!"?! I totally agree with you, Cap'n Blackmoor! There is only one single theme in which I'd like to see this mixture: a ghost town theme as subtheme of the Western theme. Klaus-Dieter

Thanks for clarifying that, DarthSion! Ok, then it's a FU set. But why do we OT fans then not get any OT magnet set with Darth Vader (which now appears in a PT and in a FU magnet set but in no OT magnet set ) and Luke (who seems to be on big holidays this year )?! Klaus-Dieter

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Klaus-Dieter replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There are a lot of great ideas for Roman sets which can be found here! Thanks for reading. Klaus-Dieter -
These are all great proposals so far! One thing I have to mention is that a Roman theme should be as historical accurate as possible! And that's really not too difficult. Playmobil did a very good job with very accurate Roman and Egyptian sets - so why shouldn't Lego, too?! Plus there aren't more new bricks needed to make it historical accurate in comparison to all new bricks needed to make it not historical accurate - if only TLG wants to! Here is one of my ideas which I really, really hope TLG would release if they did a Roman theme somewhere in the future: Ancient Rome 200-250 Euros (S@H Exclusive) Discover Ancient Rome! Are you the owner of a taverna who serves thursty soldiers their wine? Or are you a rich Roman citizen having a big meal at home? O rare you a senator spending his free time in the thermae? Or are you one of the praetorians protecting the emperor? Or are you the princess being carried around the city in her litter? O rare you the emperor himself residing in his throne hall? It’s your choice! This set consists of four parts: 1. Aqueduct, Caesar Statue And Litter a small aqueduct (but tall enough that minifigs and carts are aible to cross it), a statue of Caesar and a litter which accomodate one minifig and is carried by two minifigs including a golden tumbler minifigs: the princess, two male slaves (to carry the litter) 2. Thermae a thermae with entrance and a fountain and a well decorated baths inside accessory: some bath towels minifigs: two senators, one female slave 3. Roman Villa A Roman villa with first floor: entrance with atrium in the middle, little taverna on the right side and dining room on the left side second floor: (atrium in the middle,) bedroom on the right side and balcony on the left side including some tumblers, some apples, some cherries, a golden plate and a chicken leg minifigs: taverna owner, rich Roman citizen, his wife 4. Emperor’s Throne Hall a throne hall for the emperor with big entrance, portico and a big throne plus some statues inside including two golden tumblers, two golden plates, some apples and some cherries minfigs: two praetorians, the emperor More ideas will follow in the next days and weeks! [REVIEW] Anniversary Silver Stormtrooper Magnet
Klaus-Dieter replied to PDQAg's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you very much for this great review, PDQAg! I of course voted for Outstanding simply because it is outstanding! That's really a great surprise! I hope that it'll be available in Germany, too, and still until end of September when I'm going to buy some big Lego sets. Then I supposably would buy it if it isn't too expensive. Klaus-Dieter -
Thank you very much for these pics, AoNZ and PDQaq! The Silvern Stormtrooper Magnet is simply awesome! I hope that it'll be available in Germany, too, and even still in September when I'm going to buy Home One, the Stromtrooper Magnet set, the Wind Turbine Transport and perhaps the Tantive 4 (if it appeals to me). And I hope that it isn't more than 15 Euros. The Dark Side Magnet set is really bad since it mixes up FU with OT! Why didn't they release one for FU (with battle-damaged Vader, Shadow Trooper and another minifigure such like e. g. Juno Eclipse) and one for OT (with Snow Trooper, DS Trooper and an Imperial Officer)?! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that advise, The Cobra! I corrected it. This topic is no wishlist, The Cobra, but a discussion about which sets you think might be possible and a discussion about themes/sets which were already confirmed or about which rumours have been heard. So you should at least not write "wishlist". Nevertheless I totally agree with you on two subjects: 1. I really, really would like a new Western theme, too. But with the many new licensed themes I think that is regrettably excluded. 2. I'm really not familiar with Rock Band. Would this make a licensed theme or a regular theme? If it was licensed I wouldn't like it. Nevertheless some guitars and other musical instruments would be awesome! I can't imagine TLG releasing a theme based on music - but you can never know. Klaus-Dieter

Romans or Greeks/Spartans
Klaus-Dieter replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
That's an awesome idea, Emperor claduis! I decided to open a new topis for Ideas for Roman sets - make sure that you'll drop over, too! Klaus-Dieter -
Hello everybody! In the last time there have been very interesting discussions about whether TLG should release a Roman theme - and the result was that the majority of members would really like to see some Roman sets. Now the question is: What Roman sets would you like TLG producing? Ideas, proposals and comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Legomilk mentioned "new themes" for the City theme next year. So do you think that we will "only" get sets of new themes (like e. g. seaside, winter, zoo, ...) or even some add-ons to the awesome 7641 City Life? Klaus-Dieter
-
That's an absolutely amazing MOC, kris kelvin! I really it! It looks very realsitic and offers a lot of interesting scenes and details! The most I like the tower. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

That sounds great! I can't wait for Sunday next week when the Tantive IV then supposably will be shown at BrickFair! Klaus-Dieter

Romans or Greeks/Spartans
Klaus-Dieter replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
According to flesh or not flesh minifigs I regrettably have to totally disagree with you! Flesh would be absolutely ! Flesh minifigs are only included in licensed sets until now - and I really hope that this will stay that way! Flesh is not bad - but the yellow color is the original color of minifig faces - and imo that is the best one since it shows no direct origin of the minifig plus it looks much more lovely. Nevertheless this is a very interesting discussion point you mentioned there. Klaus-Dieter -
Thanky, Wout! That it would go with the awesome 7641 was actually my aim. Klaus-Dieter
