The pics don't exist anymore on instagram (apart from the harvester I haven't seen them there, too). But search on youtube. (; There you can find them in mega blurry quality - but better than nothing. Yes and no. I think that @Foreman-Alex is right. Some time ago it was reported that there shall be real functioning water canons in (some of the ?) fire sets. So possibly this might be one. And if so, it was much bigger than in reality. (But I personally would prefer a brick built, non-functioning, but realistic looking water canon.)

It seems as if the new polce subthemes is mainly about planes. Because of TLG not wanting to put weappons inside the City theme, they now give us no military planes but police planes. (I can't remember having seen a police plane anywhere yet - no pics nor in the reality),) 2. After many seesaw the harvester transporter actually seems to be an agricaltural one (and not a forest one). 3. 60217 will be a fire plane - I suppose an exclusive set. 4. That 60216 isn't titled as a fire station gives me the former hopes back that the set will be a huge firefighting scenery inside Lego City.

When you search for “heavy loader“ in the internet, pictures of an excavator with a big front shovel show up. So I bet that this set wil be a re-design of 7630 Front-End Loader. This would fit for a price of ten Euros til twenty Euros (earlier info) and tie in with other stand-alone construction site vehicles like the mobile crane (in the Capital) in 2018 or the unimog with excavator in 2017. Nevertheless I completely agree with you that a whole construction site theme is since long overdue - we do not only need more vehicles, but additional an unfinished building (in built), containers and a tower crane plus some sort of re-design of the 6383 Public Works Center where the vehicles can park, be filled (with a silo) and be cared of and where the plans for new buildings are made.

I really hope that, too! The new medium legs were a great invention. So they of course have to be used in future CMF series. But even more I'd like them to appear in regular sets - but I don't expect that to happen before 2020.

Ah, thanks for clarifying, dimaks! So the info that 10267 will be a Freefall Tower was wrong.

Thank you very much for the info, @Kevii23! I've got two questions: 1. How big is the burger bar (only one floor with the bar or even one or two floor(s) on top of it)? 2. Is the harvester now an agricaltural harvester or a wood cutter? I completely agree with you, jonwil!

That's simply stunning, beverly888! It looks absolutely realistic and I like all these many details you included. Of course I voted for it on ideas - if it was released as a set, I absolutely would buy it. A decent sized aquarium as a Lego set is definately overdue!

Thank you very much for the news, @Robert8! I'm really looking forward to this series. The unlicensed series have gotten too rarely - only one per year is really a shame. I wish back the beginning of the CMF series when there were two til three regular series per year and no licensed.

These are great ideas and excellent drawings, @Dorayaki and @Robert8! I really hope that TLG will use many of them! At least I would buy nearly all of these figs.

Thank you very much for the info, @dimaks13! So we'll get 10264 Amusement Park and 10267 Freefall Tower in 2019?! Although this would be great, I highly doubt that there'll be two Fairground sets in one year. I bet that either the Freefall Tower was pushed back to 2020 or it is part of the Amusement Park set. Independent from that I really hope that next year's Fairground set will include minimum one smaller ride and a lot of decent sized stalls (in the style and size of the Pizza Van). Since a faiground nearly only consisting of huge rides looks that boring and is so unrealistic.

Thank you very much for the link, @The Cobra! But what is that: two fire stations?! I can only imagine 60215 being a mobile fire station and then 60216 the "normal" one. Independent from that, I'm disappointed to see that 60216 isn't the set we were hoping (a city scenery with a fire rescue) after having read the Hothbricks set names.

Now that we've seen this year's WV set, let's think about 2019: It's the 10th anniversary of the WV theme. So I guess - and really hope - that there'll be (like in the CC style buildings series last year) a much bigger set like usual (around 150 Euros) to celebrate this. A WV town place with since long overdue candy shop and town hall would for me be the perfect thing. What would be yours?

Yes, I, too. But pics for sure won't appear before mid November. And with TLG's strict policy this year, I even wouln't be surprised if we firstly got to see them in mid December. Which I'm surprised about is that we still haven't the whole winter wave list yet - disappointing. I hope that TLG will release a decent building with nice interior for the burger bar, too. I mean: For the price of the set this should be possible. Of course you can only await a one floor big building. But nevertheless it could be great if enough bricks and stickers were used for it. There's hoping for a minifig scaled burger mold which would really be great! Ah, thanks for mentioning. Btw: In contrast to some of the past years, I'm regrettably no longer aible to get info (and then of course post it here, too) about (the winter wave) sets. The toy shop where I sometimes was allowed to have a look into the retailer's catalogue had to close. It was a lovely, small toy shop which couldn't compete againt amazon, ebay and the big toy chains. I'm very sad about this ...

Thank you very much for this press release, WhiteFang! I completely agree with you Robert8! The tree and the snowman do look really bad. Plus I dislike the fact that the fire engine doesn't fit inside the garage by its whole length. And a beanie for the baby would really have been necessary, too. But the minifigure selection, the two new torso prints (fireman + baby), the interior details and esp. the exterior archtitectual design of the building and the frozen fountain are hillarious! I have to agree with you, too, mirecg! Like already said, the set is fantastic. Nevertheless I feel that our WV isn't still a real village: The only "shops" we've been getting so far were the bakery and the toy shop. We definately need more civilian downton buildings like candy shop, winter sports shop, hotel, grocery, ...

Thank you very much for the list so far, Digger of Bricks! Creator vehicles normally don't interest me because of there too big and unfitting scale for City. (An exception was the Monster Truck Show this summer.) The Riverside Boathouse could be a nice set. I suppose it's the biggest set of the winter wave, let's say 35-50 Euros. Nevertheless I would have prefered a shop. Since TLG does release shops in the City theme only very sparing, the Creator and Friends themes are the ones which sometimes help out.

Thank you all very much for the info! This supposably will be one of the very limited number of Ideas sets I might be buying. Since it isn't only a neat idea, but for sure will look great. At least the grandma and esp. redcape look amazing! I bet that there won't be more than three minifigs, maybe even only two. But having the Big Bad Wolf included, too would make the set much more appealing.

Thank you very much for the press release, WhiteFang! For sure this set isn't such a fault like Assault on Hoth. Nevertheless I must say that I've got really mixed feelings about this set: On the one hand I'm glad that TLG offers us a new, much bigger and more detailed version with updated and even some completely new minifigs and that they did include much more rooms. On the other hand the price is really too much for this set (like with Assault on Hoth again hundred Euros too much), the carbon freezing chamber is too small, the battle scene Luke vs. Vader is (apart from the "bridge") only indicated and the two Junior sized vehicles are useless and the bricks should better been used for a bigger location. But the most I dislike is that many rooms can only be looked into and played inside by the top of the set (and not by the side like with nearly all rooms in the DS). Consequently I do need to read or watch a good review in order to chose whether the set is really good and worth buying or not.

Since 2019 is the 20th birthday of Lego SW, I bet that there'll be minimum one (regular or exclusive) set from each OT episode - so likely sets from Tatooine (Owen's Homestead with Owen, Beru, Luke and a droid would be really cool and go perfectly with the Cantina, the Sandcrawler and the Tatooine BP from 2018, plus a Tantive IV RBR needs to be released as a redesign) Hoth (sadly very likely again a redundant Snowspeeder with Luke and his gunner and a Snowtrooper with cannon) Endor (a small set with Endor Luke fighting against a Scout Trooper on a Speederbike would be great, plus the AT-AT needs to be included in a set, too - perhaps a remake of the Endor Bunker Battle?)

For OT fans the 2019 winter wave seems to be very lame again since there isn't listed one System scale OT set! So I hope that there'll be at least one Exclusive (at the best Owen's Homestead with Owen, Lars, Luke and a droid) and maybe a small set in spring (at the best a little Endor scenery). But in principle we OT fans can't complain - we got many great OT sets in 2018. Plus for summer 2019 there has to be some OT stuff since it's the 20th birthday of Lego SW.

Apart from the kiddish playmaths and the food set which contant could imo have been chosen better, the Xtra sets are hillarious and match perfectly in a Lego City! I hope that TLG will release more of these (brick, not playmaths) Xtra sets next year! But even more I hope that the number of sets beeing allowed to buy will be heightened from 5 to min. 10!

Hopefully the Talent Show will this time be placed in some sort of studio BUILDING. But shouldn't there be a new family house for 2019? (2015-2017-?)
