  1. I think it depends on how populate the TV series will be, @Lyichir. But I could well imagine there being some more sets based on it in 2020. Maybe some Great Vehicles, very likely some of the Police and Fire sets.
  2. Thank you very much, @JopieK and @Captain Dee! (In contrast to a statue I built some time ago and will show you soon) I didn't have a concrete park in mind while designing this. Nevertheless you for sure can find several parks looking similar.
  3. Thank you very much for the news, @dimaks13, @jhuyser and @Digger of Bricks! It was clear that there'll be another - very likely unthemed - Police theme next year. Like @TeriXeri I hope that the police station wil maximum be the size of this year's Fire Station and then the flagship set will be action based with a huge location (either a decent sized prison or even better a big museum). Plus I agree with there might be a big fire boat since it was missing in this year's Fire theme. Plus TLG might add a big fire helicopter since there was only a small one this year, but in the past Fire themes always a big one too. I personally hope that there'll be some specialized vehicles, too, like a hazmat unit truck and a fire mobile crane etc. to give the Fire theme something fresh and new!
  4. Hello everybody! After a very long time it's time to show some of my creations of the past years. Here is one of my newer ones - the Park der Heiligen Hurtigesse (Park of the Holy Hurtigesse): As you may notice, I built he park around the awesome 40221 Fountain - when you take the set away, it looks like this: I hope you liked it!
  5. Thank you all for the news! Apart from the rugby ball I can't find the pics. But the things I read here sound interesting - esp. the reprinted duck (it was clear that we'll see a "normal" duck with the mould of the rubber duck soon, but I wouldn't have thought that already this year). Hopefully there'll be some historical minifigs included, too.
  6. I absolutely agree with you on this list, @Digger of Bricks! These are all mostly completely new themes - but I would even like very much to see Farm and Harbor returning, too. Plus some neighboorhood with different houses, supermarket and school would be nice, too. And don't forget a big train station. That's an excellent idea, TeriXeri! It could look like the SUV with the horse trailer from the Farm theme in 2009 - 7635 - which was imo a quite nice set: Like I already mentioned in my analysis of this year's City theme, I could well imagine that the 2020 Police theme will see a People Pack instead of the "classic" Starter Pack. In this I could well see a police officer on horseback, too.
  7. Thank you everyone for the news! So apart from the rumored UCS ISD (in which I'm for sure not interested) it seems as if the winter-spring wave had been all for OT for this year?! If so, this would be a very poor 20th anniversary of LSW! TLG at least should have redesigned a TIE Bomber or TIE Interceptor in black-grey and should have given us Luke's Homestead!
  8. This year City sees some new developments which might bear on future City subthemes and sets: 1. The flagship (and so even the biggest) set in the Fire theme isn't the fire station itself anymore, but a fire fighting scenario with a big burning building and a construction site. ===> I can imagine that in further years there will be subthemes where the station is smaller but the flagship set will be an action based scenario. Let's say the 2020 Police theme could consists of a smaller police station and the flagship set could be a big museum break-in or big prison break-out. 2. This year it's the first time after some years that the "classic" 10 Euros Starter Packs disappeared. Instead the summer wave sees two minifigures packs - one belonging to a City subtheme (Space) and one not belonging to a City subtheme (Fairground). ===> It could be that 2020 and later will see two minifigures packs (one belonging to a City subtheme and one not belonging OR two belonging to City subthemes) in summer. It might even be that we're getting a minifigures pack in the winter wave (e. g. a police minifigures pack with different kind of police minifigures, some crooks, smaller police vehicles and accessory). 3. The 80 Euros stand-alone summer set (2017: cargo terminal, 2018: hospital, 2019: ski ressort) isn't based outside any current subtheme anymore, but is a downsized subtheme on its own (everything absolutely necessary when thinking about winter rescue is included in the ski ressort set). ===> There may be a "whole-subtheme-but-only-one-single-set"-set in further years, too. I esp. can think of subthemes which were neglected in the last decade - such as farm or harbor. But I can think of combinations, too (e. g. CG and beach). What do you think?
  9. Some days ago I built up the zoo shop & café: I'm really overwhelmed about how many wonderful and realsitic elements there are included outside as well as inside the buildings! Plus I like it that you can detach the floors - so that's much easier and much more space saving for storing. The set is a true masterpiece! Like I already mentioned some time ago, let's hope that there'll be a nice (of course much smaller) addition to the building in January!
  10. First Aid At ATV Accident (8-10 Euros) - paramedic motorcycle in white-red with blue light in the back and two clips to hold accessory - black ATV - brickbuilt tree with falling-down-a-branch function - accessory: grey suitcase, walkie-talkie and plaster - minifigs: paramedic with motorcycle helmet and ATV driver with motorcycle helmet
  11. That's an amazing model, @ProjectGBK! It looks very professional. I really like the big cashpoint, the color scheme and everything all, too. I hope that your model or at least one similar set will be released next year for my fairground!
  12. From the description the set sounds really interesting! It's a pity that there won't be a cottage and a ski lift included - but that might give us the chance to see these elements maybe in some future WV set. But I've been waiting for a snow rescue theme as well as for a ski shop (even though it will for sure be only one floor big) for many years - so it's great that we'll get them! Sorry to say so, but I've noticed over the last couple of weeks in different topics that you do not respect other people's opinion. All members on this board or LEGO fans, but not every fan has to appreciate everyting lego does. I dislike many sets they made when I look at lego as an AFOL, but understand the appeal for kids. Just let everyone be, let them express their opinion, even when it's not the same as yours. It is a discussion-board after all. Thank you very much, *thomas*!
  13. Thanks for the info, @dimaks13! That's good to know. So there's hope that it will appear in the WV set or if not then at least in some City set next year.
  14. I didn't find the pics of 60203 - please can someone send me a link? But I found the set description. Here it is translated into English: Description: It's time to wrap up warm before heading off to the slopes with the LEGO® City Ski Resort! 15. Thank you all very much for the information and the pics! The Lunar Module is for my taste and my usage too expensive. Nevertheless it looks very well design and the baseplate with the lunar surface is a nice addition. The Legoland rides could have been a bit bigger and the Miniland could have gotten one more exhibition space. But apart from that it's amazing! I really like all the details which make it looking like a real Legoland. There is a devent number of minifigures and accessory included. And this set will very well go with the Legoland Driving School set and the Legoland Train set. It would be nice if the next years saw more add-ons to this / the Legoland set(s) like a Legoland restaurant, a Lego Factory, a model builder workshop, a Ninjago ride, a 4D cinema, ...
  16. Well, that woul be an excellent choice, Roebuck! Maybe the new deer mould even appears in 60203 Ski Ressort - but since the set will be smaller and less exclusive than the WV set, I doubt it.
  17. Thanks for the info, @dimaks13! So being no mountain in this set, there for sure won't be a ski lift included. That's a pity. But I bet that there'll be a lot of other nice stuff included. A ski hotel oder a winter sports shop would be great. And an Aprés-Ski-party or a small mountain hut would be quite nice, too. I could well imagine TLG throwing in some rescue stuff, too - maybe a very small rescue copter with hinge and / or a small rescue HQ. Well, I fear we have to be patient for one more month to see the first pictures appearing.
  18. Thanks, @dimaks13! I could well imagine the three vehicles being a snowmobile, a landrover (loaded with skis and snowboards) and maybe a helicopter (although I would have no idea what it shall inside the set, but it seems that a lot of the bigger sets "need" to include small copters).
  19. Thank you very much for the information, dimaks13! It's ok that you don't specify. But can you please tell us whether the set will be a stand-alone or whether there'll be a whole ski theme with several sets placed around this one?
  20. There will be 60203 Ski Resort in the City theme (for 80 Euros). No pics are already there, but judging from the name, it's very unlikely that this year's WV set will include anything similar - so no ski hut, no ski lift and no snowy mountain.
  21. Thank you very much for this info, dimaks13! Do you already know its release date and what else there'll be included? It would be nice to know. Well, I have to agree with you, lightningtiger, that the set appears completely surprisingly. I would much more have thought about a circus or a zoo or an amusement park set to go with the Fun at the Fair people pack. Nevertheless I bet that this set will be great: You mentioned last year's rescue copter and this year's snow plow to go with it - plus for sure it will fit in our Winter Villages (if you placed the WV nowadays and used other City sets inside it, too).
  22. 60203 Ski Ressort - 80 Euros (in Germany) (source: brickset + brickmerge) I'm really looking forward to seeing pics of this set! For 80 Euros a small ski hut, a little snowy mountain and a simple ski lift could be included, don't you think?
  23. That's my opinion and not necessarily has to be yours or the one of any other person. Perhaps you understood me wrong - I meant what @Mylenium put into words: I don't dislike the colors of friends. There are great colors. But I want to build up a city. It should look realistic. So some of the Friends sets fit very well because either girlish colors are used for some type of houses in reality, too (e. g. the hairdresser or the party shop or the art studio), or because the Friends buildings don't include too massive girlish colors (e. g. the smoothie bar or the hospital or the restaurant). But I personally don't see these in the amusement park sets and the animal rescue / underwater research sets this year, so I won't buy them. That's ok. But there are two reasons for me because I don't like it: 1. The color sheme (looking like very light pink) doesn't go for me - a lighthouse has to be white-red. Plus the light having a heart sticker on looks unrealistic, too. 2. Having an animal rescue station inside the lighthouse isn't the best choice for my taste. I'd have prefered an apartment or at least something similar to the lighthouse some years ago - but again not in massive pink or violet.
  24. It's very sure that there'll be some Christmas GWPs in October and November. In contrast to the sets of the last years, I really do hope that TLG goes back to the years 2012-2014 when they released small minifig scaled add-ons for the Winter Village! (Some more decent sized stalls (minimum the size of 40082) for the WV Market like a hot chocolate stand or a Chrismas ornaments stand are really overdue.) What do you think?
  25. I hope that the new shopping cart (from the Friends 4+ Supermarket) will appear in a big City supermarket with delivery truck next year! And here is an idea for a Farm People Pack I'd like to see: small builds: pigeons' house on a pile hen house with small ladder to its entrance melting machine vegetable patch accessory: pushcart, shovel, brush, tools, hayfork, bucket, shepherd's stick, vegetable and two boxes minifigs and animals: grandma grandpa father mother son (medium sized legs) daughter (short legs) baby with printed torso mail shepherd maidservant 2x black-white cow 2x sheep (new mould) 3x pigeon 2x hen cock
