Thank you all for the positive comments! Now that you say it, Space Police XVIII: it was indeed a huge (Gerbil-sized even!) space monster, that attacked it. Of course, how else could it been? But we need to have a word on space fashion here. Just so much: Its not a tattoo and not a sash, just a very snug fitting space suit

In memory of the legendary achievements of the first Lego astronauts, Admiral Takayama from the Futuron-Starfleet has revealed a memorial plaque in the new space-flight museum. The plaque itself which was part of one of the first moon-bases and is - apart from some minor asteroid-impacts (actually Gerbil chewing marks!) in perfect condition for its age! The exhibit is called “A view back and a view forward” and features original artefacts, like the automatic short range sensor probe SRT-570 and a model of the legendary Type 928 Space Cruiser (which I took from the book Great Lego Sets: A visual History). The Admiral also took the occasion to also introduce the crew of the newly commissioned fast space-cruiser Andromeda, led by the legendary Captain McLane, who will soon depart for a deep space exploration mission. In her speech Admiral Takayama emphasised that it was always the spirit of the Futuron Federation to “explore new worlds and go boldly where no-one has been before”. More about the adventures of the Andromeda in the near future!

Review: 70335 Ultimate Lavaria
Littleworlds replied to Gunman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I heartfully agree! I really love that crazy little Minifig -
Quite impressive indeed. The price point is rather fair too, compared to what they nowadays charge for their top-of-the-line products I think it will sell pretty well, not only in the UK!

Review: 70331 Ultimate Macy

Very good review with a lot of shots - fantastic! I also like the helpful guard giving a hand or two assembling it - hilariously fun! As for the transparent armour - yes, it limits things, since it looks more space-trooper really. Maybe it can be used as something like volcanic glass? Skyrim veterans know what I'm talking about -
Ha! She looks quite mental, in a Lego-cute way I love how you photographed the astronaut-shots. They look really cinematic and its a fun twist to include one anyway. Definitely something different - love it!

This looks amazing! I don't know if you are familiar with rat-bikes and cars, but that's just the thing. Very post-apocalyptic and mean. A weapon on wheels! Dirty thumbs up!

Now this is really something different! I love the idea & the way you realized it with a classical looking stage with play features. Very nice and perfectly transports the feel of an old glamorous venue Maybe you add a few rows of seats (2 or 3 at most) with some spectators? And maybe a curtain that folds together zigzag-style if thats possible?

[MOC] Atlantis "Neptune Carrier Mk.II" Submarine
Littleworlds replied to Pimbo's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I just saw this post and wow - what a submarine! This is almost perfect! I especially like the elegant use of hull plates and the very thought- and skillfully made interior decorations. It is simply an amazing "little" boat -
[MOC] A guest at Goblin's getaway

You made a lot out of these parts! Beautiful arrangement and a fun idea for your build. It really made me smile -
Very atmospheric. Gives a sense of danger and tension. What might await her on her mission? Perspective, colour and lighting work brilliantly together. Also bonus points for starring Blacktron

Oh wow, this is supercute! And an admirable neglect of mini dolls I love the colours and the layout is simply awesome. Perfect use of space!

Here the shots I promised. The drumset is surprisingly simple. Just mounting the tom-toms was a little challenge, but again, the solution eventually wasn't really complex either, despite me having tried a lot of different variants and a lot of parts Stage, rear view: The drumkit: I didn't had the time yet to do modifications on the stage, but will happen soon!

Lovely little farm The way you made the fence is just awesome. Looks like the real deal to me! Overall the building and the little landscaping around it harmonize very, very well. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the pig enclosure a bit more bumpy to emphasize them digging in the mud all day long.

Lovely and scenic harbour! Buildings and stone works look absolutely brilliant. The arch connecting lighthouse with one of the buildings is also a lovely, whimsical detail. Very, very good!- 24 replies

[Tutorial] HOW TO: Clean White Backgrounds
Littleworlds replied to DarkRavenFilms's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Very good video and you don't waste time: it goes straight to the point and offers valuable advise. Excellent -
Very nice progress! The ship certainly goes into the right direction. For the gondolas I would try technic-parts and would in general experiment with the snot technique to create panels, radiators and such, I would also reduce the height of the saucer-section. It appears to me higher than it needs to be. That would give the front a more sleek appearance too. And maybe consider grey floor plating for the bridge too, to visually set it apart from the walls? or maybe a combination grey/red fields? This project wakes so many ideas... just great

Thanks for the ideas! Yes, I realized when doing the photos that black on black is a pretty tricky choice for a motive So I plan to make some modifications to the stage, like adding some 9 V powered lights and making the back of the stage deeper to allow more space for a proper background. Maybe with a prop, like a large engine block or something else embodying raw power. Tiles are an excellent idea. Maybe I can make use of the Minifig stands I have. That would allow making the stage quite versatile when it comes to placing the band members, but would also contribute to a more smooth look
