  1. I don't think this code thing is going to work.
  2. Good. I expect your full trust when we lynch a Maple today. You've now gone from at least attempting to make coherent arguments against me to settling on the ever-vague "you're trying too hard". This is beautiful. I sincerely hope that if you're town you'll reconsider your deathtunnel, though. I realize how it looks with the investigator claiming to Simon, and I understand if you don't believe him yet (although I will say, to his credit, he's not playing like scum), but believe the results - that I'm an Oak. Lighten up a bit. This is fun. I insta-voted Catarina after her initial low light claim, and then second-guessed. I'm just overjoyed at having been verified. This is actually something really worth considering. I definitely think one of Sammy and Nash is a Maple. Neither of their accusations have held much weight, and they seem to be going about them in a really low-key way - almost as something they can pursue all situation if necessary. This is very characteristic of scum. Which one, though? Simon's case for Sammy is compelling, but Nash has been pretty blatantly scummy yesterday and today (mostly yesterday). I don't think they're a team. Adelaide, if Nash is scum, who do you think his partners are?
  3. This is so awesome it deserves an unvote. Unvote: Catarina Dogwood (adventurer1)
  4. Vote: Catarina Dogwood (adventurer1)
  5. I've got the dead guy's stamp of approval at least! Seriously though, if you're looking for guidance with your night action, who better to help you than a tried and true townie??
  6. Yeah, claim to me instead - I'm a confirmed person!
  7. Your refusal to accept it is the suspicious part... I wasn't suggesting that you want a massclaim, I was saying a massclaim is good. I see now how my response would have been taken the wrong way! Dude, if only this warranted a real defense. The bottom line is that you have your terrible idea of what's good for town, and I have mine. If you think I'm scummy for having a different idea than you, well, then... That's suspect.
  8. Only a Maple would want to cast suspicion on a real Oak... Massclaim is a great idea. Thanks Nash! I knew something good would come of our talks. You were suggesting that the Maples benefit from information more than we do, so you might as well be suggesting that the Elder stop revealing allegiances. It's the exact same concept. You honestly terrify me, Nash. And I'm the one ridiculing the subject?
  9. Yes, I backtracked because I am absolutely terrified of being lynched. I can't stand the thought of it! I need to conform to other peoples opinions in order to feel safe. I definitely didn't think through the possibilities and decide it was worth it. Thinking things through is totally Maple. Are you saying I'm not an Oak?? That's pretty suspect... That's a really really good point Nash. You've convinced me. Knowledge is bad. Let's stop revealing things in public. In fact, let's tell the Host to stop revealing the allegiances of players too while we're at it - if the scum know townies died in the night, they know how many more they need to kill to win... In fact, let's all just stop posting. The more we know, the Maples know... :snicker: Yes.
  10. Even clearing an Oak who isn't under suspicion is worth it.
  11. "If the cops didn't want to tell anyone what their results are, it's their own damn fault!!"
  12. What if we get to Day 5 and the cop dies without having told anyone his past results? It's best to let them die with him, isn't it. We don't want to help those nasty Maples by enlightening ourselves.
  13. We have a chance to prevent what happened last time from happening this time. More roles claimed = less scum can claim. Plus, if an investigative role (watcher, cop, whatever) died with results, they don't have to - they can out them which will help us.
  14. They claim if they're informative roles with results. If not, they stay quiet.
  15. No, I'm answering it. The part you're asking about is included in my suggestion that informative roles claim. What's the point of having the cop claim if they have no results, etc. It's also crucial to Oaks. Look, being conservative with information has its place, but by and large, the more town knows, the less places Maples can hide. If you don't want things to be revealed, then that probably says a lot about you. What are you hiding, Sammy?
  16. That leads to listing roles we know we still have, which will tip off the scum. One of the great things about an insulated town bloc is that scum never know what we still have. If the leader of the bloc comes out and says "Ok, we have a cop, doctor, vig..." then the scum know what to prepare for and maybe even how to narrow them down. If the stumps claim, however, yeah, it shows the scum ONE role they don't have to worry about, but then that comes instead of ALL the roles. Get it? What I asked at first was for stumps to reveal their roles, but then realized that if they were the doctor/blocker/something else like that, it would be unwise. I then said informative roles should reveal their roles and results if they have any.
  17. Information is bad. Let's all stay in the dark. Back to the Stone Ages; anyone who wants to know things must be a Maple. Investigation results are always bad for the Oaks.
  18. Yeah, I missed it, sorry. Mobile is not kind to me. Well, if they had informative roles, it's actually very pertinent. If their results die with them, that's bad. Town needs to know everything it can. Not necessarily; I'm open to possibilities. Gun to my trunk, though, I'd say he was Maple, yeah. If the action is one shot, he probably was. People were starting to have doubts by the end; why would they janitor someone who would look like a fairly normal Day One lynch? Plus, it would make me look bad if he flipped Oak, so there's the added bonus of that. You seem to definitely be advocating for a viewing of Alastair as Oak, though...
  19. Bah, I must have missed this. Yeah, I get your point, and if it was something like blocker that's fine, but if you were the investigator or a watcher or a tracker or something, it'd be good to reveal your results at least. Actually, you wouldn't have gotten a result if you had died, would you? This is more advice for future stumps. Sorry, I'm still trying to wrap my trunk around this.
  20. Isn't that what you're trying to do?
  21. Stumps: did either of you have night actions?
