Gotcha. You told us earlier in the game that you'd find out who targeted you. -

Simon, who targeted you? -

If they're scum and the serial killer, you keep no-voting. Then they have to kill each other. The game will end in a stalemate since if they both vote for you then whoever has precedence (probably SK) wins. I think it's two town to one SK though. I've actually used a SK that investigates as town before... -

Addie's weird gambit was totally unnecessary. -

Either Waldorf was naive or it's Lassie. I'm tempted to say vote Lassie just for the mechanics of it. What happened with Sammy? He was told Sue had died and was scum? That's scummy. What the hell? -

Simon, I would be very surprised if there were any scum left. -

I think Berty sums it up best: After Adelaide's lynch, it would have been 2 town vs. 2 scum, meaning scum win. No, all the scum must be gone now, and there's just a SK. I think the vig abstained and the SK killed Sue. -

At this point, I couldn't see the vig not abstaining. Way too risky to kill yet. -

Damn it, why couldn't we evaluate Waldorf!? The only way Lassie can be town is if he was naive. Lassie and Sammy ought to immediately vote for one another, because one is the SK. This will prevent any weird things from happening. Then it's all in Simon's hands. -

This sums it up best. While I too worry with this lynch, as I have with many others, the stumps and I feel that Adelaide would be best for today. I would really like to follow up with Sammy tomorrow, if there is one. -

What if we're looking too hard for partner reads now? I think it's possible that there's only one scum left. Simon if that were the case, who would it be? My money would be on Sammy -

Yes, sorry, it's taken some time to get used to not having limbs anymore. I love that Jack was actually the janitor. I didn't think it would happen, but I'm sure as hell glad we lynched him. This confirms my suspicions about Sue - that she's probably town. What about Lassie though? She was the first vote for Jack back when it looked like he wouldn't be lynched. Could that be a smart bus? Simon - I'd love to decipher your codes, but I don't think I even half of those. Are these all from our 1 on 1 conversation? -

After that vote analysis, it looks like he's the serial killer. Do we have time to switch? Do we want to? -

Vote: Jack Pine (mostlytechnic) We need a lynch today, and this is the best one we're going to get in the time remaining. -

I don't really like the Adelaide lynch. She was the one who started the codes in the first place, which have made it possible for Simon to communicate with Waldorf and the others. She may be changing her play after her great performance last life, but I really think she's town. Lassie is a better lynch. Simon and I had been talking about her for awhile, and all of the suspicions he brought against her are extremely valid. What do we want to do here? We need a lynch, and I just don't think Adelaide's a good one. I actually wouldn't be opposed to lynching Jack. It's probable that he's the SK, but that at least cuts down how many townies die per night... -

There were two non-town kills on Night 4 though. How could Hazel be the SK? I really think she was scum. -

Hazel is the last person you want to believe about anything, ever. I cannot believe we're actually having this conversation. Also, if we want to cheat and metagame, let's think about what she said after she was lynched in the C&D thread. I'd say that more than balances out anything Berty received. I'd also like to reiterate what's been said before - if all scum disappear upon death and then they can janitor someone, that's the equivalent of a death miller (it's actually worse - they can turn anyone they want into a death miller), which would be horribly abusive to town. I trust our friendly overlord to not be a bastard god, so I'm going to err on the side of "Hazel was a scummo." -

I'm trying to work the timeline out in my head as best as I can Night 1: Vig blocked, Scum/SK kill Buck, Scum/SK kill Lauren Night 2: Vig kills Agnes, Scum/SK kill StickFig, Scum/SK don't kill/get blocked/target is protected Night 3: Vig kills Bobby, SK kills Barry, Scum kills Clem Night 4: Vig kills no one, Scum/SK kills Waldorf, Scum/SK kills Maggie Night 5: Vig kills Nash, Scum kills Chester, who in turn kills scum... So it looks like there was only one nontown killer out and about on both Nights 2 and 5. What if Peter was the SK and the scum actually converted or something on Night 2? -

Berty, if some blown up stump came to you from beyond the dead to claim Oak, why are you believing them? They're alignment unknown, after all. They can pull whatever kind of wacky shit they want. I think "all scum are removed" is a fair assumption. -

This puzzles me too. It's also possible that he was the godfather, or a usurper or something. Those who wouldn't vote for Hazel or Peter are a great start though, since we don't know for sure on Alastair. That's true - maybe he was some sort of third.
