  1. The "h" in the middle comes from Youtube username. Leviathan without a h was not available so I added one, but it is a muting h ! I think it is not very important. I don't know if I can correct it on EB. Make it free is one of the best way to see your Moc built by someone else. It is a great final conclusion. I can't wait to see the result on your Porsche !
  2. Thank you ! Oh it's a mistake -> front axle Castor angle ! Rear wheels stay parallels.
  3. Hi everyone, Building instructions are available now on this link. They are free ! See you !
  4. Thank you ! Your Alpha Romeo inspire me a lot to create this car : same scale, same colors scheme, etc... I prefer couple 24t/24t instead of four 8t gears too but like you said, no so much space. About the shit lever : If I rememberer well I tried version with balljoint. I did not keep this solution for few reasons. I could not hold down balljoint friction. May I had some bad sizing balls ;-p I'm not sure, but is it an illegal build ? I mean, in terms of building instructions I guess it's difficult to make a clean and easy step assembly. I add a stop on Charbel's column design on main axle in order to reduce handling mistakes. It was not possible with balljoint lever. In my opinion, your system works well if you have the safe shift system behind. In my case, Charbel's improved design is a compromise. Thank you ! Implement the gearbox and shifting system was a huge challenge !
  5. Hello everyone, Let me introduce ma latest creation, a Jannarelly Design 1 at 1:9 scale. Jannarelly is a French car manufacturer based on Dubaï : https://www.jannarellyfrance.com/histoire. We feel a lot of Cobra Shelby or Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa design inspiration. It is a Neo-retro style : New materials on old shape ! SPECIFICATIONS : - Dimensions in cm (L x l x h) : 44 x 20 x 12 - Dimensions in studs (L x l x h) : 54 x 25 x 18 - Ground clearance: 1,3 studs - Weight : 1,3kg - 2 000 parts FEATURES : - 5+R gearbox - HOG (at the back) + working steering wheel - Openable cockpit canopy - Transverse V6 engine - Independant suspensions - Front axle: Ackerman steering, caster angle, steering radius : 55cm - Openable doors, front trunk and engine cover - And a cool stripe ! On picture below we can see elementary features : The HOG is connected to a gear reduction 8t/24t to enhance wheels rotation. Front axle has a positive caster angle. I re-use @T Lego one from La Ferrari : https://bricksafe.com/pages/T_Antonie/ferrari-laferrari The cockpit canopy can rotate to see interior details and give a better access to gearbox lever : The gearbox is a 5+R architecture like Shelby @Sheepo : https://www.sheepo.es/2013/10/ford-mustang-shelby-gt500-14.html. The main column is taken from @Charbel Volcano RS design. Ratios are : R - 1:134 1 - 2.1:1 2 - 1.67:1 3 - 1:1 4 - 1:1.33 5 - 1:1.667 Back 3D view below : Each driving ring (middle, left and right) has its own linkage (pink, green, blue). There is no "no back" system like @Gray Gear https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/177499-how-to-6speed-manual-transmission-with-safeshift-system/ or NK03 gearbox design because too big to fit in. INSPIRATIONS : Nico71 : http://www.techlug.fr/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9776 Jeroen Ottens : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-2927/Jeroen Ottens/alfa-romeo-4c-spider/#comments T-Lego : Charbel : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-9613/Charbel/volcano-rs-supercar/#comments CONCLUSION : It was a real pleasure to work on this car : design working and features implement were a good challenge ! HD photos on this link : https://flic.kr/s/aHsmR3ZYCx Thanks for reading, I hope you will appreciate this creation ! See you !
  6. Hi everyone, Lately, I read topic on Audi R8 from Jeroen Ottens (https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/178368-wip-audi-r8/) and it remembers me that I had such a prototype of a sequential gearbox. It's an improved version of my sequential gearbox used on my Bugatti Chiron 1/8, lighter and more compact. I use 4 orange rotary changeover selectors. I just want to say that is only a prototype version unfinished that I wanted to share with you. Please do not judge assembly design, but system core. How does it works ? - The main shat is the center one and it's made the dual clutch shaft - On each side, there is 1 half-gearbox. One with odds speeds (1, 3, 5, 7) and the other one with even speeds (R, 2, 4, 6). - On main main shaft, there is an offset of 90° between the 2 orange changeover. Its engage only at time one of the half gearbox. The real secret of the gearbox is the offset between each half gearbox. I used a factory wheel with 2 pins with tow ball to create this offset. See the picture below : Of course, the gearbox has a end stop to prevents 7 to Reverse shifting. Ratios ; R : 1,2 1 : 0,6 2 : 0,75 3 : 1 4 : 1,67 5 : 1,8 6 : 2,1 7 : 3 The reverse speed is too fast. I worked to an improved version too, smaller that prototype. The arrow shows the right way to shift up. Finally the video to understand the mecanism : I hope you will like it ! See you soon !
  7. Congrats to all participants ! Thank you to everyone for your support. It was a real pleasure to build at this scale. I was not able to vote, but my favorite entrie was @Didumos69 one. I think I saw Ford instructions on Rebrickable.
  8. Hello, Building instructions are available : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-43369 I used a lot of parts of 42093 inventory Regards,
  9. Hello, Building instructions are available : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-42656 A lot, lot, lot of work !
  10. I am not sure to understand ! Do you refer to digital pictures or real one ?
  11. Hi guys, I've a question for you on stud.io. I used #62519 and #62520 parts, like said before on the topic, to get the perfect angle on my building. However, on the part list, the u-joint is shown as a subassembly of the 2 parts before and not as the 62520c01 part. I don't know if I'm clear : What I've on instructions editor on Stud.io : And what I wish : How can I fix that ?
  12. Thanks ! I have a lot of difficulties to add rubber belt on studio :(
  13. Hi, Instructions in progress ! For those interested by the internal gearbox + shifting system, studio file on rebrickable is now available ; https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-41526
  14. 9. Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 "Valentino Balboni" edition. Quick turn about features : Rear HOG Fake realistic V10 engine Openable doors and trunk Steering radius about 30cm Please, watch pictures in HD : https://www.flickr.com/photos/147164115@N07/albums/72157713841846828
  15. Photos shooting finished, see first post edited, thanks Lightroom ! I hope you'll like it !
  16. Absolutly. The exact version is LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni (Lamborghini famous pilot) But just for fun, with spoiler : Other photos coming soon !
  17. Hi everyone, Here is my last original creation : The RC Car from Toy story movie ! I would like to make a RC car controlled by smartphone and easily recognizable by young people (and older one too...) Features : RWD by 2 L motors Steering by 1 Servo motor Controlled by 1 Sbrick (or 1 Buwizz without bbox) Independent suspensions External switch for power supply Some nice colors I used 2 pythagoriciens triplets to improve chasis stiffness. The car is divided in 3 modules : front, motors and rear In the picture below you can see red bush on 4l axle with stop. It's the switch to power up or down the battery box. I used Anto's buggy motorisation : http:// http://www.techlug.fr/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11544 but il replaced 8t by 24t. HD photos gallery : https://www.flickr.com/photos/147164115@N07/albums/72157713497548457 Building instructions are available : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-39835 I added 3x3 lime dish for the eyes on 3D model : I hope you'll like it, See you soon !
  18. Almost finished Maybe I'll add a spoiler. I will take pro photos this week ;)
  19. Hi everyone, This is my entry for this contest. Why this car ? 'Cause I have a lot of Orange in stock and what brand car is recognizable in orange color ? A Lamborghini of course ! (A Mclaren/Old Mustang too I guess...) Specification and functions :Wheels: 43.2x14 or 22Engine: fake mini V10, RWD Color: Orange and white stripe Dimensions : 120 x 300 x 85 mm -> (15 x 40 x 10 studs) Openable doors and trunk. No suspensions, not necessary at this scale In my opinion Front steering + Rear HOG HD photos gallery : https://www.flickr.com/photos/147164115@N07/albums/72157713841846828Regards, Video in coming !
  20. Hi everyone ! Today I'm glad to present my latest creation : a replica of a Le Mans Prototype, the Lola Aston Martin ! See below the result, I worked on this creation during 1,5 month : SPECIFICATIONS : - Fake V12 engine - Independent pushrod type suspensions - Steering by HOG + Working steering wheel - 4 speeds sequential transmission + paddle shifting - Rear cover articulated - Elytre openable doors DESIGN : I used this part https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=24118#T=C from 42056 Porsche to create the cockpit front curved shape. Into the cockpit you can find some details sport wheel and seat. The dashboard include speed indicator serigraphed tile but also green/red indicators to speeds shifting. Paddle shifting is created by 2 short yellow liftarms. You can notice presence of a red extinguisher ! Red and white pins indicate two sides of the paddle shifting ! FEATURES : To create the HOG, I used one couple of knobs and one couple of 16t. A friction axle avoid steering free wheeling. In other hand, doors are openable. For the rear cover, I used Nathanaël Kuipers tips to keep it open with friction like NK03 (https://www.nkubate.com/predator-supercar/) The fake V12 engine is a Crowkillers design : https://bricksafe.com/pages/Crowkillers/mini-v12 The sound it makes in functions of speeds is awesome ! Supensions pushrod system is a copy slightly modified of 8674 set. For the front pushrod I re-used Nico71 design like on his own LMP1 : https://www.nico71.fr/lmp1-racecar/ I created my own 4 speeds gearbox for this model. It's a flat design like 42056 Porsche one but there are less gears so less friction. I use blue rubber for the 90° indexor. See how its works in the video bellow. Ratios (without diff) : 1 : 1:1 2 : 1:1,667 3 : 1:3 4 : 1:5 I put a paddle shifting in the back of the car to up and down gearbox speeds. I re-designed 42083 shifter to make it smaller. MODULARITY : Main assembly is easily operate by a modular design. There are 6 modules and 2 structural elements. Cockpit itself is a part of main structure. I choose this kind of design in order to make instructions in the future. VIDEO : INSPIRATION : I'm sharing links of creations that somewhere gave me ideas for my Moc : https://www.hellobricks.com/2017/01/porsche-919-le-mans/ https://pikdo.biz/p/kimkamza/2048722475702589051_176999168 https://www.flickr.com/photos/158776396@N06/32215776147/in/album-72157676668829937/ https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/138348-porsche-962-c-le-mans-racer-in-185/ http://www.techlug.fr/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10823&start=45 I hope you'll like it See full HD gallery on Flickr : https://www.flickr.com/photos/147164115@N07/albums/72157712427943327/with/49298358508/ See you !
  21. Familiar uh ?... My apologies I forgot to say your name in the topic. I fixed that. By the way, your anti roll bar setup is very easy to implement and so realistic. Thank you for sharing that kind of idea. you helped me so far :) Thank you for the sharing !
  22. First of all, thank you for all your comments ! Glad to see you liked it :) Yes I'm planning that ! I'm very curious about future TLG version. Much more about the (probable) gearbox. May I will make some kind of review but for sure I will take photos to compare Yeah I fixed roof height due to lot of remarks on YouTube and Techlug ahahaha ! IMO, it's very difficult to evaluate ratios aspects of your creation when you look too closely since 2 years. Forums and you guys help me to stand back and give me opportunities to improve my MOC. I'm very interesting about TLG future approach too. Hopping about a dark blue/blue color scheme and not too much new specifics parts. You spoted the reverse ackermann effect, nice shot ! I think if you ask the question you know the answer ^^ In reality when you have transmission (4WD) + setting of adjustable suspensions + anti-roll bar, there is no more space for steering in front of the axle. The angle of steering stay the same than positive ackerman angle. It's a Formules 1 geometry configuration. Thank you for your comment but my Bugatti Chiron doesn't follow TLG standard :) I'm so far of Lego designer building technics. It wasn't my aim either. But I think that trying to create something new and different is a good way to improve skills for future MOCs. I'm totally aware of TLG's standards. Like you said @Meatman, that's definitely a fan (perfectible) build :) Concerning "C" silver : I choose silver (or grey) 1/2 thickness liftarm to create a cohesive and strong chassis continuing below the bottom of doors. The line could be more "just" with flex for sure. Am I answer your question ? Nice detail about the 1x2 grey liftarm ! I'll fix it :) I agree with your remark about rear diffusers. I'm waiting TLG treatment. If I like it, I will improve my creation ! ahaha nice ! So I have long time followers :) Very very useful this steering wheel link ! I used it to set panels too. I'm glad to heard you liked the main shape of the car. For your information, the gearbox itself has 1 000 parts. Yeah that's it. You have one driving ring for steering (the one you spotted Carsten) and one for driving train to disengage. Because it a dual clutch gearbox there is always at least one driving ring engaged on two.
