  1. So my son and I have managed to get all of the 2013 sets except the Golden Dragon. I really like Cole's Earth Drill, and the Fire Mech is really well designed. Garmatron is pretty good, but the function sometimes doesn't trigger.
  2. While I will be getting this for mine and my son's city, it doesn't look as good as the previous modulars. Maybe my thoughts will be changed when I see this in real life, but something just seems........strange. It lacks the charm that the other modulars had, and I've never seen a chinese theater before. I'm hoping that I don't have to mod this set, as I'd hate doing that to one of the Modular Buildings (unless it's the interior, which I probably will change).
  3. Lego Star Wars 4 was revealed to be in the works at Celebration VI. It is currentley unknown what it will be about. Back on topic, I was thinking about getting the The Bat and Tumbler set when I go back to the Lego store this week, but I'm not sure about it since the designs are pretty cheap. But those minifigs are just
  4. I'll take the Battle Mech please
  5. I thought it would only be a matter of time before they did this. So the line up this year is City Undercover, Laval's Journey, Star Wars 4, and this
  6. To be honest I don't think Norton's rant is going to get him very far. Chima and Thundercats are nothing alike, it's just someone trying to ride off Lego's success again. It's happened before and it eventually blows over. As for the Facebook comment being removed, I think Lego posibley saw the comment and asked Norton to remove it. After all WB are on board with Chima, so there's obviously no issue.
  7. It could be that they're doing the same thing as they did with the BARC speeder a couple of years back. It was in the Battle Pack, and The Battle Of Geonosis.
  8. I'm hoping it's an X-Wing with a (decent) hanger bay. You can never have too many X-Wings, and it could have some great minifigures included. I'm hoping for a new Rebel mechanic so I can make a new version of Bespin Luke.
  9. I think I have an idea what's happening with this "new X-Wing". It's possible they're rebooting the UCS series to be minifigure scaled ships, but with a high level of detail. If this is in fact the case, it would be a pretty good idea. For example: Minifigure scaled X-Wing with lots of greebles, SNOT, and advanced building techniques. Or as I like to call it, "Expert Series".
  10. I thought a Chima MMO would happen, and It could be pulled off really well. Laval's Journey sounds interesting, and has potential. Good thing I got my son a 3DS for Christmas
  11. I think we'll use the second option, as it seems a lot simpler. Thanks for the help
  12. I picked up two for my son for his birthday from the Cardiff store, and we were wondering how we motorize two sets? Do you have to buy two of all of the needed power functions, or can I just hook an additional motor up to the front engine? Thanks
  13. The Back to the Fury one cracked me up But it also made me think; What if the DeLorean set will have the same feature as the S.H.I.E.L.D Car?
  14. Wow, I love this! It's a great motivation for kids to stay green, and the model designs are superb I hope this becomes a reality
  15. The Lego Store in Cardiff should have them in. They usually get the new sets in around Christmas.
  16. According to Gamestop, the game will be released on March 1st 2013. I'm not sure whether this means both versions, or just the Wii U version...
  17. I wonder if this will air in the UK...
  18. Just heard the news about the DeLorean, and I have to say, I'm quite excited for it I wonder what outfits Doc and Marty will have for the set..... But I am pretty upset that MB's Modular Western Town didn't make it to becoming a set I would have definatley purchased it if it did become a set....
  19. Are they giving out Lego Batman: The Videogame for free with that set, or is it a code for an online game?
  20. I posted back in the Ninjago 2013 thread that I talked with a Lego store manager and he said Ninjago wasn't going to be discontinued, but re-booted. Looks like he was right Are those evil nindroid reflections I see in Zane's eyes
  21. A bit of an update regarding the rumored 3DS version: My son was on the LEGO Video Games page (AKA TT Games), and asked if the 3DS version was real. Here's the reply: "There will also be a version of the game in 3DS. Stay tuned for release dates and have a great weekend!" Looks like we won't have to get a WiiU after all
  22. My son has it and he told me he's very dissapointed with it. He only enjoys Zombies, which is only 1/3 of the game. After that he went back to Halo 4. My opinion on it is that it's not worth it's very large price-tag.
  23. What shocks me is that it's a top rated seller
  24. So the Wii U is a faulty console? Looks like we'll be going with the 720 when it comes to next-gen consoles.
  25. Was I the only one who thought of Halo when I saw the pictures? The multiple factions, the different armour classes, etc. Anyway, really loving this theme, and I hope it lasts for more than one wave (it's possible, since SP3 had three waves).
