  1. I watched AUJ with my son the other week, and I do think white would fit Azog better.
  2. This Saturday according to the Wesfield Brand Store ;)
  3. Summer LOTR sets will be in UK Brand Stores on Saturday Also the sets weren't recalled according to the manager of the Westfield Store, they just weren't meant to be released until 27th.
  4. I think it will be £59.99 like the Rancor Pit
  5. Looks like they didn't cancel out the EPIII sets after all then. The AT-AP looks nice, and I like the look of the Clone (or Commander Gree if it is him).
  6. Well the hood doesn't look so hard to mod, so if you don't want the blocky hood, you can mod it for a ramp piece (sorry forgot the name ) The manager at the Shepherd's Bush store said he would reserve one for my son, since we already made our monthly purchase for this month.
  7. Whenever we've been to the Cardiff store in the past, the PaB selection there wasn't anything too special. We won't be going to that store anymore since our friend there moved to Shepherd's Bush, and we don't live in Wales anymore. It's really complicated but it's something to do with my son's condition, I won't go into it. But does Shepherd's Bush ever have any good parts on the PaB wall? We make purchases from there every month (our friend sends them over to France for us), but we've never done a PaB there before.
  8. I think that Spidey is possibly a timed-exclusive. That is the Amazing Spiderman 2 suit, so I don't see why they would skip out on making sets for that...
  9. It isn't The LEGO Group's fault at all. Merlin Entertainments runs the Legoland (and Discovery Center) franchise. Yes it does have LEGO's name on it, but it doesn't automatically mean you should point to them, and refusing to buy their products isn't really a way to set an example. At the end of the day, the employees are employees of Merlin Entertainments, not The LEGO Group, so it should be taken up with Merlin. Also I'm pretty sure there's AFOL nights in the Discovery Centers, why didn't he go then? And he isn't the only one who's been turned away, loads of lone adults have.
  10. Just talked to the Shepherd's Bush Store manager, and he's going to reserve one for me and my son
  11. I wouldn't mind LR ending up like PoP. That way I could get the train cheaper
  12. Not in the UK unfortunately.
  13. According to a London Westfield Lego store employee, the sets are out August 1st. EDIT: Manager said that that was a mix up. The real release date is July 15th
  14. I think that constable looks really nice, we need more British minifigures (I won't count Team GB).
  15. To be honest I would have been fine with just Marty, but it was really nice of Lego to throw Doc in too. I hope the Jules Vern Time Train get's to 10,000 on Cussoo, since it would be nice to get another BTTF set. Maybe this will have the same fate as Minecraft (which is rumored to have more sets in the pipeline), and the Time Train will become an actual set. But yeah, what kid wouldn't want this? It's a flying car, and it looks sporty.
  16. And now my son's seen it. Bugger Looks like we'll have to phone the Westfield manager and see if he can hold one for us, otherwise I'm not going to hear the end of this if it runs out of stock.
  17. Or maybe Cragger becomes too strong for the flower and sides with the Lions, while Crooler goes insane and leads the crocs to war?
  18. I really love the Marty and Doc minifigures And I'm willing to forgive the design flaws now.
  19. Am I the only one who's a bit tired of the whole "hypnotizing flower" thing? It's a bit like how people thought that Garmadon claiming that he couldn't stop being evil because he was bitten was a bit of a plot device. I'm personally hoping that very soon Laval and Eris will find out about Crooler hypnotizing Cragger, because the flower gimmick does seem a bit cheap in my opinion. Other than that, I thought The Joyride was a great episode, and if we continue to get episodes with this quality, Chima may do very well after all. But yeah, not too keen on the hypnotizing flower thing.
  20. Hold your horses folks! I believe I can see gullwing doors on the set. If you look closely, you will see that both the door area and the roof have hinges between them. The roof obviously won't open so maybe the doors will? I'm not giving up hope for minifigures just yet.
  21. I'd wait for the press release. Could be the minifigures and extras are being shown then.
  22. I really hope there are figs in this. It looks like the model can fit minifigures, so I don't see why they would leave Doc and Marty out....
  23. My son has one, and it's really good. He has the basic set, but apparently those have been sent back to Nintendo because only the premium set is selling.
  24. I'd keep an eye out on Bricklink for these. Or TLG could pull a Shirtless Darth Maul and use at as a TRU promotion like in France last year. Or it could end up in the other Legoland parks.
