  1. Oh well, timing is everything, I suppose. So yes, I am your friendly forest pyromaniac. I hate each and every one of your little furry pathetic lives and the way you scurry about all happy and such. It isn't natural, you're almost as freakish as the scalies. *shudder* That said, I will reveal a little of my life to answer your questions. I killed your stinky leader because he blabbed way too much information to me during day 1. For those of you who haven't run into him before, he's both overly verbose and a freaking blabbermouth bear. Take the ridiculous and unnatural revivals out and he'd still be dead as he should be. I tried to kill Helen because I sincerely believed her to be scum and I was neutral at the time. I never expected another idiotic revival to turn my goal from difficult to impossible. All that mess with Brigit and the rest had nothing to do with me, I was neutral and hated everyone equally. I didn't even know the scum yet, nor am I been pleased with how much trouble they caused me before finally converting me, but they hadn't found me yet so I really can't hold a grudge. I tried to kill Helen the second time because, as I said, I hadn't been converted yet. You saw my conversion right after my death, there's no point in my trying to hide it, it was revealed quite clearly by the voice in the sky which left it impossible to defend. That is when I was converted to scum. Prior to that, I needed to kill all of you to succeed in my goal. Honestly, they'll take more of you before this is over and you'll figure out a few of their more obvious members, but ultimately, you don't stand a chance. I may be dead, but at least I can enjoy knowing that most of you will be shortly as well. It's been fun. I did the best with a difficult and complicated situation, but it just didn't work out well to be discovered and brought back so visibly after so much energy had been wasted getting me killed. I'm sure we all wish it had gone differently. That can all be discussed in the afterlife, and believe me, we'll meet again. Remember: Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. Now I get to do something funny... Vote: Shadows (Felix Fox, the Fantastic Fire Fanatic)
  2. You know, when I found out I was brought back, I knew I'd just be killed again, it's the same mistake you people always make, but I didn't expect a lie this silly. You really want everyone to believe that you would reveal such information on day 1, but then not reveal it the second you were revived to try to make a case against me? No one tells their intended action to anyone on day 1 except scum, that's just insane. As for the rest of you, whatever. I'm not giving you the pleasure of annoying me. I was brought back and I knew I'd be killed again, even though it's exactly the same revival as Helen. We saw Lauren die, we saw the obvious clues involving the torch. At this point, I'm not even sure there is a serial killer, which would explain why the scum didn't kill anyone on nights where the arsonist hit. You want to believe there's another one, I can't stop you. I'd still like to see what any real investigators came up with before dying, but no one cares about that.
  3. That's for damn sure, but at least I understand it better now, so that's an improvement. Not really, it's actually very simple, but hold on, I'm fairly sure someone will be hippo-critical and jump on me shortly. How does that work given that we were clearly revived by the same person? If you're going to suspect me, you'd have to turn the same suspicion equally towards Helen, wouldn't you? That's how it looked to me, and if the arsonist was the typical serial killer, no one would take her place. Nice try, but I was revived by the same person you were. Would you like to confess something, given that it clearly puts us on the same side? I can admit to being wrong yesterday, but given the weird situation it was understandable and we were all confused. I was far from the only one who suspected you. Now that I know what is going on, it's easy to see my mistake and admit it. Can you, or will you really be a hippo-crit? I guess not.
  4. I think I'd be suspicious of anyone who did trust it at this point, since we have no evidence either way. As a general rule, I don't trust anyone who tries to be too trusting early on, only scum and investigators have enough information to do that, and even investigators can be wrong. That said, I think your story is possible. I've certainly seen crows in our world before and they've always been evil, trying to eat my lovely crops and smoking cigars and stuff.
  5. You make a fair case and since you're the only one we have good reason to believe in this town, I'll go with you on this. Should it turn out wrong, I hope we'll explore those other problems we discussed privately. Vote: Lauren Lamb (Zepher)
  6. Nice. You rant like I did in that play where I was scum. Whatever... We've already established that you can't know you were targeted by scum, therefore the rest of your words can be taken as a direct lie. Could you please stop doing that, it's tiring having to point it out. Again. You certainly have been very communicative. Every single one of them that has come to me privately has said that you were probing them for their roles to the extent of asking them to directly quote words from the voice in the sky. That's called cheating for those of you who are new to this game of life. Good thing none of you are new, you know this already. Oh, and to take it further, if you are still, by some unbelievable chance, part of this village, you are putting everyone at risk by collecting information. And you know that as well. That pretty much says it all. By you. The hippo who no one knows the alignment of, brought back to life by the shadowy figure no one knows the alignment of. The 'second village reviver', I mean. Do I need to remind this star studded cast that mob bosses frequently return a "village" or town result when investigated? If you were that worried about the town you wouldn't want the investigation wasted on you. Asking for it if you're the boss doesn't prove a thing and you know it and from personal experience, the people who ask for it most are the most guilty but know they'll suddenly look innocent when the wrong result is returned. The only thing we know for certain is that you aren't the arsonist. And you lack tact and dignity in your arguments. That's about it.
  7. Yeah, I'm finding it a little hard to swallow as well. We know Booker was village and revived by a villager, I seriously doubt another such reviver exists, meaning Helen belongs to some other group. It's about as simple as it gets. At least you see the need for investigation. The problem is, who do we trust is the real investigator and how will they reveal their information, whatever it may be? We have so many people claiming to be things that it's almost impossible to sort out the truth from the lies. You make a number of very good points. If the person giving an alibi isn't proven town and actually ends up brought back from the dead by someone who isn't town (there aren't two town revivers, don't make me explain how stupid that idea is, this is supposed to be an All-stars game) then how can we possibly trust it? That leaves us with the other part of what you said, we have Booker. He was verified and then revived by town, if we can't trust him then the voice in the sky is a witch bastard of the lowest order. So I propose a compromise. Everyone who claims to investigate, investigate Helen tonight. Anyone who desperately needs to trust someone, trust Booker, he's got to be our best shot at a verified villager so far. Everyone else, let's figure out which supposed blocker to trust and then test it by voting off the other one. I'd especially like to hear from Edgar in this situation, since he's been central to the argument. Fair enough?
  8. It's surprising when we had no information to go on for 2 days, then were given the events of last night to work with? What have you been basing your tireless work on? Only the scum know the identities of their teammates, so where did you gather your great knowledge from? Further, who have you exposed, saved, or in any way cleared? No one. Every death has been a villager and we still have nothing more to go on than the events of last night. You seem to want that ignored. So what do you propose we do now? Oh, you've tried to get people to trust you when they have no actual way to verify anything you've said and the result has been a string of village deaths and no progress. Wow, you've done a smashing job, I'm just embarrassed I couldn't do so much. Aw, that's so sweet. Being condescending is a fairly pathetic way to try to shift suspicion off yourself, but if you want to try it, go ahead. I'm sure it'll work brilliantly. Yeah, shocking that I would be suspicious after you're brought to life by an unknown, on the same night a verified member of the village is brought back by another verified member of the village. There's two village revivers and one knew to bring you back last night, with only the loss of poor Brigit! It all makes sense now! They aren't that stupid, they aren't going to overlook this. Seriously, try something new and stop insulting their intelligence. Soon as you give it up, I will. It really is tiring to see you paint yourself as doing something for this village when you haven't. If you want to be the hero, do something that works, unless things are going exactly as you want them to...
  9. You're the towniest of townies now? Jesus, get over yourself, no one at this stage can verify that you're town any more than anyone else has been. You really want to announce that you're more loyal than everyone else? You really feel it's right to insult them that way? Wow, you've got one serious ego, but don't expect everyone else to be as mesmerized by it. We are supposed to consider all possibilities and you object when we do? That isn't very townie at all... It does? Every single death so far has been a villager. What the hell are you doing that any of us haven't? Nothing but trying to convince people to turn over their lives to you. I'm suggesting they try to think first. Guess what? I'm right, you're wrong. You've been outed as known town? megablocks. You haven't been confirmed by anyone we can know is town yet. Until then, you're in the group as the rest of us and all things should be considered. Why does that worry you? You were brought back to life by someone other than Brigit, that's clearly shown. You really expect us to believe that there are two villagers with that power? Hell no. You need to come up with something better than acting like the victim when you're the one still alive and it's all villagers who have died. Perhaps I should add that Booker was a verified member of the village brought back by another verified member of the village. Thus, his reviver was on our side. You are an unknown who was brought back by another unknown. It's very unlikely that there are two village revivers, so who brought you back? Bad enough Brigit had to die trying to save you, but that doesn't mean she was right about your alignment, it only means she may have been fooled. I'd like to see us not be fooled, so I want questions asked and answered before anyone puts their trust in you or anyone else. I still can't see how that is wrong.
  10. I'm not sure about Booker or Helen, but given that Booker's alignment was given to us, I at least can believe in it at that moment. Helen, on the other hand, was brought back without us knowing her alignment at any point and I want to make sure we don't forget that. It would be easy to be tricked by such a situation. I guess what I'm asking is for anyone who can check on such things to do so, but since she's making a point of trying to get everyone's roles, I'm a little concerned that it can be done without the results being influenced. I'm going to tell everyone one simple thing to remember, and I hope you'll listen... the only people who know who they can trust right now are the scum. They're given the names of their fellow scum. Anyone who offers to tell you their role, alignment, or asks you to do the same, can not be automatically trusted, and just doing it is suspicious. On top of that, if you trust someone and they are converted somehow to evil, you've just put yourself in danger. Please think carefully about who you can be absolutely certain of. At this point, it's no one unless you're an investigator and have personally investigated them (and they can't have been lured to evil somehow). Think before you speak, don't be so desperate for someone to trust, they're probably the wrong person. That's all I'm asking.
  11. Possibly. We sure don't know Helen's alignment, though I'm waiting for someone to try to claim we do now. Like trying to claim that the scum tried to kill them when we don't know that either. Definitely a mystery surrounding this little series of events and their associated claims.
  12. I think that's the point I was looking to explore. Poor Wendell had to give up his life to bring you back, but this other one can rub some balm on and get the same result for Helen without dying? I don't think that makes a lot of sense, it seems like it gives them far too much power, almost like evil power. Am I wrong here? Anyone want to give their theory on why this would be?
  13. Wow, that's quite a series of events for one night. Losses, recoveries, more losses and one weird twist. What are the odds that two different people who are town would be able to bring the dead back to life? I'm confused now, I hope you're all paying attention to this and can help make sense of it. Welcome back, Booker! Want to sniff my flower?
  14. I don't care much for it because I don't see where it makes any sense, but given that we're in deep furry trouble if we don't vote today... Vote: Bristol Bunny/Bob the Construction Man Sorry if we're wrong, Bristol. If we're right, I hope you make some demon a delicious meal then it chokes on your bones.
  15. This doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere. I'll be blunt, I'm still not sold on Edgar's story, but there are a lot of you who aren't making much sense right now either, which I think is mostly a product of early confusion and attempting to conceal your roles, whether they are village, scum or 3rd party blah blah. I do find it suspicious when people defend each other despite having no apparent proof that they can trust the person they're defending. It seems a little like something the scum would do, since they should be aware of their allies and we aren't. I really had hoped that today would dawn with some new information, and instead we lost a villager, got a stupid puzzle to solve with no point of reference to give us the slightest clue how to solve it, and a lot of speculating. As a result of not having anything new to add personally, I'm not saying much, it doesn't help the situation. I would suggest that those of you who don't have much to add do the same so as not to distract from the issues at hand. Much like yesterday, I'll be here to vote if we get a semi-solid lead, and if we change our minds mid-day, I'll also unvote, but let's try to be careful with that. In the meantime, I'm going to take a nap. I get up at the break of day and have already put in a lot of hours tending to my delicious crops. I've brought big, juicy carrots for all of you, so enjoy a little snack and work hard thinking this out!
  16. I feel like I'm locked in a house where some demented old fool left anagrams stuffed in the light sockets and hidden toilets.
  17. I don't think there's much to add to what's been already said, this is just awful. Poor stinky adorable bear never even got to live ... Ok, so just based on the intro, I feel like we must have been given some clues in all those words. Why was there a werewolf reference? Surely we aren't facing them too, so maybe it means something else that we need to notice? Why a late arrival when only one thing seems to have happened? Why Booker and not Edgar, anyway? Was he on to someone who wanted to silence him or just an innocent victim? Wouldn't a serial killer go after the person trying to stop him if he knew their identity? It's all questions and no answers. I'm sure you've all considered some of these same things, and I think we need to figure them out before making our decision for the day. I know we also need to hear from anyone who has learned something helpful. Combining all of that, I believe we can make a good decision today and turn this tragedy into something good. Booker would want it that way.
  18. I'll have to agree that perhaps I was a little too worried about what god might do to us, combined with some confusion over the claim being made. I took a long nap and now that I look at it with a clearer head, I can see where there is some logic to what Edgar has said. I hope someone will take the opportunity to try to verify those claims, but for now I can't vote for him without feeling like it could be a bad mistake. Unvote: Edgar Elephant (Whitefang) At the same time, I don't understand the new bandwagon for Helen and can't participate in it either. I have a feeling we may be letting this day end without a conviction because it's not really possible to condemn one of us based on guesswork. If god takes revenge on us for that, I'll be very disappointed, since he hasn't given us anything to work with today.
  19. I can't argue with the crowd, especially when Edgar is revealing so much. If it was all true, he'd never be so stupid, would he? Vote: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang)
  20. It's a date! I love it fresh from the tap. What? You certainly aren't going to interpret any of our fun as dirty, are you? The only dirty one here is that stinky garbage pail bear. He's kind of cute, though...
  21. Oh! I'm glad one of us has some horse sense around here. That sounds as reasonable as anything else so far. Let's keep our eyes open for the quiet ones. You know where to get it, we grow 'em big on my farm.
  22. This is terrible! Demons here! And they're cannibals or something because we're counting on them to eat their own if we chain them up outside. Ok, now I've just confused myself... Well, I'm a farmer, not a thinker, so I'd best just get back to raking until everyone arrives and we can try to figure out this horrible situation together. Just as an aside, why is that cute creepy bear hiding in a trash can?
  23. Iris will be pissed. Again.
  24. And I can't be killed at night or converted. Oh, and if anyone tries to vote me off, it causes a landmine that kills them. All of them. And you too.
  25. Oh well, I lasted longer in this game than some, and at least my death wasn't completely idiotic. Who asked you? Vote: Dragonator / Pushypants McDragonfreak
