No, you're not the only one. He "had information" on day 1, unlikely. He determined he could trust someone enough to tell them that. On day 1. Really unlikely. He died and can't speak for himself. Hints are given that all of this occurred, knowing he can't confirm or deny it. When you look at it that way, it seems awfully suspicious, doesn't it?

We seem to be going in circles now. Things we know Eugene was killed either by a vigilante or the scum. Let's just leave out any possibility of a serial killer, it doesn't look like that at all. If it was a vigilante, I'd ask that they be more careful in the future. If it was the scum, I'd ask that they make it a murder suicide and go first next time. Samuel can't vote, but god didn't tell him this in advance. That seems to make me suspect that it's an outside influence that chooses who to block, as opposed to a flaw in Samuel that causes it. That's really it, isn't it? I see why we're going in circles and I'm sorry I don't have any meaningful contribution to make today, I just don't see any glaring clues to work from aside from those two situations, and they're pretty confusing as it is.

Bad logic for a number of reasons. 1. You don't kill someone likely to get themselves killed by the town. 2. You don't kill someone likely to distract the town. He wouldn't shut up about his problems and that would have meant more discussion of it today, keeping the focus off the scum again. 3. The scum kill, it's part of why they're scum. Everyone knows it. Trying to disguise that by picking stupid targets is pointless and means you've wasted a chance to kill someone the town is less likely to. *shakes his head*

A true shame about the vote yesterday, but day 1. That's about all any of us can say there. On the other hand, I find it very strange that the scum would kill Eugene. He was practically painting a target on his own back for us to vote him off and he was causing confusion. Those are reasons for the scum not to kill, which makes me consider the other possibility... the killer was a vigilante. Nothing they said indicates either way, though "druggie" sounds like something a loyal citizen might say to someone they perceive as a criminal, as opposed to one criminal to another. If that's the case, why didn't the scum kill anyone? Perhaps they were blocked and are trying to use that to their own advantage now? What better way to create the illusion that they are on our side. I'm wondering the same things, we will have to watch carefully to see what it all means. It could mean he has a secret and is being blackmailed. To be honest, it almost has to mean that unless it's a complete fabrication. Doesn't mean he's bad, just that they have a way to control him right now. That could be dangerous, or we could figure out a way to free him. Samuel, does any of this sound possible to you? Do you have some kind of secret that isn't terrible, but might be enough to give someone power over you?

Shadina swaggers into the Hall and rests her massive bosoms on the nearest counter. Someone requires my services, I assume.

Could I get a small metagaming clarification, please? The use of the word "shadows" is not an indication of me. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program, already in progress. -
I guess it's bandwagon day. Given the threat of a penalty, I'm not going to be the only one who doesn't vote. Vote: Benji (Big Cam)

And then it ended up being Zepher who made the case better than you when he denied that I had protected him that night. Scummy bitch. I've died more in a game. Killed more, too. But yes, I'm real. As real as any of us staff bots. In a recent poll, I was determined to be 20% more real that Hinckley, except when he's a witch. Sadly, he's always a witch. With an ugly tombstone. You'll have to learn your mafia history to get any of that, but it's worth it. -

As someone who has been metagamed once or twice, I feel safe in sayings ... cry me a river. But yes, it is, and it should stop. Especially when done to me. -
I agree with a lot of what has been said today, if you filter out all the dribble. I don't see a solid direction to follow at this point, and if it continues, I probably won't vote at all unless there really is some penalty for that. Has such a thing been confirmed?

I can only see two likely reasons. 1. She's scum and trying to seize any opportunity to misdirect us. 2. She's an idiot. I have no idea which it is, but in past plays we've put on *proudly adjusts his "I'm a Thespian!" pin* here, my poor character has been killed for enjoying pie (wholly unrelated to the plot) and then my partner in piedom was killed because of it. In that case, it was a 50/50 win for the town, but let to a spiraling disaster and defeat. As such, let's be careful how much we read into our fellow citizens and their potential eccentricities, but let's not throw it out completely, it's really hard to tell what we're looking at here and down the road it may help if we remember anything out of the ordinary.

I am getting a headache from all the babbling. It seems, as usual, it's going to be very difficult to make an intelligent decision at this point. If anyone can make a valid case against another, back it up with a little logic and leave out of the odds and ends and accents and drugs, I would be happy to hear it now. Otherwise, babble on, I guess.

Haha, stupid FBI. Never trust anyone that claims to be an FBI agent. Or so I've heard. -
Yes yes, drinks all around, they make the thinkings clearer. That Ivan fellow, not only is he a dashingly handsome hero who all but singlehandedly destroyed the mob not once, but twice, but he is quite the smart thinker. And modest too, I hear. We shall take his words to their greatest value and watch everything that goes on here until we know the correct place to put our foot. Step to take. Something like that. That said, I hope to remind all of you that on this day, only the mob knows who is the mob, so one thing to look for is sudden accusations without evidence (what evidences?) and strange alliances without justification of evidence (still no evidences!). Wait, that's two things to look for. Look for them! More drinks now, as we wait for the evidences to falling from the sky.

As bad as this all is, there's never been a better time to buy booze. Hi everyone! I'm Stanislav, manager of the world famous Hinckley Brewery, though I haven't a megablocking clue who this Hinckley is. Whatever the case, we brew the fruitiest and most delicious beer in the world (so sayeth the mysterious Hinckley), as well as distribute many of your favourites from around the world, especially the motherland. *produces a case of Vodka* That should put a smile on your faces, even in this trying time. Now, after a bit of liquid refreshment, let's all prepare to get to the business at hand and stamp out these monsters. At least Ivan is still kicking. Better stay that way, too. -

Subtle. -
I can only laugh at the ending. I planted a few vague seeds of doubt against people during my short life and then died quickly for absolutely no reason at all, which was hilarious. The town got it right by holding me to an unfair standard given that no one can contribute anything helpful on day 2, and frequent posting is not a sign of innocence, nor is the opposite a sign of guilt. I was literally noobed to death, then got to watch my partners burn their way through, or more directly, watch you burn yourselves. All in all, one of my happiest early deaths.
-
Ok, so clearly I have 1 and 3 down. I do wish you'd remember that it's "You're Shadows" though. That's just sad, I expect more from you. 2. megabluck. I swear I'll try. I WILL DO IT. I WILL. Really. 4. In game or out? It makes a difference. In game: There was this time that the host tried with all his might to tell the idiot players that I was scum and to trust his personal hired killer, and they killed the killer and I killed all of them. No, wait, that was more embarrassing for them. There was this time that Jesus got me megablocking crucified. That wasn't embarrassing, just infuriating. I'm stuck here. Out of game: I don't embarrass. I just don't. I'll try to think of something and add it later, but honestly, I'm ridiculously shameless. One time a girl asked my birth year because I was buying spray paint and I said 1817 out of reflex (seriously, don't ask). She stood, a bit stunned, then giggled and waited for me to say something. I grinned a bit and stared back. The person behind me was old (though not that old) and said, "what?" and I repeated it. Then the girl said, "that's megablocking cool" and I left with my paint. I don't know what all of that meant or why I told it. I must be going senile. (does that count?) That's hot.

Belville Mafia: confirmation/discussion

I haven't been watching closely, but you kids are amusing. We really need to switch to standard mafia form and count wins based on team and not individuals. That's how I played this one anyway. -
I have to agree with the comments about Amy trusting Fuschia, I just can't see why anyone would have trusted anyone else on day 1, so it's a little suspicious. Is that enough for a vote? I don't know... Fishy that I didn't want us to randomly kill someone, expecting that in all probability it would be a loyal townie? Oh, look, it was a loyal townie. And my husband. You monsters. Let's do better today, ok?
-
First Sammy and now my own brother. Oh, poor chocolate faced fool of a brother! How could you make enemies so quickly? Were you on to something and they had to silence you? It didn't help that you got my husband killed for no reason, I mean, he was probably the father of my children and all, and now they're left as little bastards, er, orphans, oh, without a father or something. It's all so upsetting, I can't think straight! And what of this lover ... clearly not the term he would use for his wife, nor do I imagine he was in that position for no reason, so I have to imagine he was waiting for *gasp* another man, and the killer mockingly calling him baby ... it's all too much to try to take in. Dragina, I hope you know I'm here for you, just as I know you're here for me in this time of loss. I hope we can comfort each other with kind words and candlelight and pie. Lots of pie. I could really go for your pie right now, though if it's too soon, I understand ... In the meantime, we need to consider everything that happened yesterday and figure out who would be most likely to target Henry and bring them to justice. I'm sure in all of that there should be some useful lead to follow. I also hope people were actively looking for information last night and maybe someone can figure out a way to help us see the answer. I need pie now.

That sounds idiotic. Really? I didn't say that nothing could be gained, just that we don't really know anything. If we're going to base our first lynch on the discussions of the day, we might as well just go for whoever hasn't said anything at all, since anyone with half a brain would avoid incriminating themselves today. Now see, there's some thinking. I knew I had bright kids. At this point, a split vote where we all participate is safer than just randomly killing someone. Oh dear. Brother against sister already. See people, this is what we've become! If, however, we agree to vote based on silence, oh, it's too much to even consider. Amy, dear, please speak up! Ok, that's vaguely something to consider, especially the omission that seems almost intentional. We already know that can be avoided, so don't try to force us to kill someone who is likely innocent purely out of fear. That would be a tactic better left to the scum. Great, now you're on my list of suspects. Still not voting for you, it's friggin' day 1 people, everyone looks innocent and guilty. Don't take it personally, the only person I trust right now is ... well ... me. Ever since those little brats pushed your mother into an oven, you haven't quite had the same view of children, have you?
-
So far no one has contributed anything of substance, so you can wipe that chocolate grin off your disfigured little face, brother. If anything has been suspicious all day, it's been random finger pointing, but since that's traditional day 1 stupidity, even that is fairly benign. You've done it, Sammy has done it, others are doing it. What's next, the rule of 3's? If we make a decision today without any evidence to back it up, we're most likely going to kill one of our own. Whoever leads a vote of that nature is a fool or scum. If not acting that way makes me suspicious, so be it, because I'm not either a fool or scum and won't play into their hands. Did I mention it's day 1 and we don't know anything yet? Except I love pie. Since we can't communicate privately, how exactly will we even know the results of such investigations, or assign the protector to the right person?
-
It's hard to say much when you have a mouth full of pie. Seriously though, no one has said anything constructive so far, because no one knows anything. The only people who do would be our enemies, and I don't expect them to be overly helpful. *dives back into the pie*
