Always have loved the treehouse. It's chock full of both personalities who live in it, which is a pretty incredible achievement. Plus, it's what any good LEGO set should be, full of potential ways to have fun and cause people grievous bodily harm, while still looking sweet and innocent. I'd give it a nearly perfect 982. *y* *y* *y*

Consider him added to the list. The growing list. The massively growing list. The list that never ends! Except that one new guy, he's getting on my last nerve. >:-( ;-) UniqueBuilder postified!

Welcome to another exciting episode of EB Community News! I'm your host, imperialshadows, this is the bane of my existance, er, our reporter Staudie, and tonight's guest will be none other than UniqueBuilder! Tonights show will be packed with surprises, so stay tuned! *mutters* Doesn't mentioning the surprises ruin the surprise of the whole thing? Nevermind, on with the show! Welcome UniqueBuilder, do come in, have a seat, make yourself comfortable, our home is your home. *whack* Don't touch my ice cream float. >:-( Sooo... here we go! Q. Why the name and the Annoying (Join the club, we have breadsticks) sigfig? A. The name.. Humm... Well, I needed something Unique... I think it came out pretty good. Oh, and Timmy is NOT annoying!! >:-( Right. Just as not annoying as Staudie. Q. How long have you collected lego? A. Since I was two years old, in 1994. I've never stopped.. :-$ I have underwear older than that ... Q. What is your Favourite Theme? A. Trains & Town of course!! Uhh... Stauder, I think there"s a pikeman charging at you from behind... One of these days, he's gonna get lucky and we'll all celebrate. So? Get some popcorn... Me And shadows are used to this stuff... What? Where??? I don't see any popcorn. Don't worry too much, he's just the ghost of an editor from some show that used to be on this channel, it's why he carries that big axe, he was always taking things out of the show. Eventually one of the hosts killed him and cursed his soul to walk these halls forever. He thinks that killing Staudie will free him from his torment. I can't imagine where he even got such an idea. :-$ Would certainly free some of us from our torment... But our crack security team won't allow that. *makes a note to fire security* Huh? Did you say something? Huh? Did I say something? Oooh, he looks tired. *groans from around the studio* So, while pikeman takes a little break, and is a little broken, let's get back to our interview. I *wub* that guy... Always puts me in a good mood... X-D Q. What is your favourite Set? (Say top 3) A. 4555, 6541 and 6542!!!!! Q. Best In Real Life Lego Moment? A. The day my dad brought home the 4565 two years after it was discontinued!!! IMO that's one of the best trains ever made.. :'-) *COMMERCIAL BREAK!* And Now a Word From Our sponsor! LEGO. Word. *END OF BREAK* And after that :-| were Back! Q. Best Eb Moment? A. The day I joined. Oh, and all the classic "Hinckley moments" of course. :-D Q. QUACK DAMN YOU! A. Quack?!! X-D I work with a duck and get stuck with the bill ... Q. If you could design a custom set, what would it be? Whatever you want. No "Whack a EB member" Sets please. A. It would be the best firetruck ever! :-$ Q. Have you met any EB members IRL? Can you describe them to us? A. Sadly, I haven't had the chance to do that yet, but I hope to be able to go to the EB Event 2008 and meet them all there. I'm sure they're all fantastic people! *wub* Q. Can we see your lair? A. NO. I'm ashamed.. :'-( Aw, we still let Staudie on TV... Q. Am I more annoying than Timmy? A. Well, Timmy is NOT annoying at all, so I'll have to say yes. How did I get stuck with these two? Q. Who should we Interview Next? A. Errr.... Maybe... Sir Nadroj? (No, he didn't bribe me! X-D ) Definitely on the list. Well, that was a great interview, despite the interruptions. Thanks to UniqueBuilder for joining us, thanks to all of you for tuning in, and please keep those cards and letters coming, we like hearing from out viewers. Well, the nice ones. The rest of you can ... *signal dies*

Only a real Timmy would say that ... :-| ;-) And don't forget everyone (they can't forget, you haven't told them yet, oh just shut up, you make me, I will, yeah well you and what army, I don't need an army, your face looks like an army!) ... Um. Well... once I tell you, don't forget that the next episode of EB Community News will be airing VERY shortly. Like, maybe after this post. X-D

That would be #6901-1, Mobile Lab. I remember building it exactly as it came: a nice, friendly little moon explorer, picking up samples of rocks and rolling around. It didn't take long before the white and red guys were enemies and fighting it out, of course. >:-) Classic Space On! *y*

This would be a good example of 'search before you post' as it's been covered thoroughly here. Better luck next time!
-
Just a little word of advice. Before posting, and especially before posting an entire thread, have some idea what you intend to say and say it clearly. Oh, and if it's a new thread, search to see if it's been done before. Good luck and welcome to EB!

Tied at 19. Insanity! *wacko*

Snowtroopers in the old days did come with long rifles, though I think all the Hasbro ones have had the normal sized ones.

One of the oldest cds I own ... The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Hoth and an AT-AT to make it complete. The latest set of SW magnets and those 3 bag thingamabobs. Was going to order a few clearance things as well, nothing I particularly wanted, but when I put in the free US shipping coupon code, it wouldn't let me have the sale prices as well, and I sure wasn't paying full price for that crap.

How much wood would a wood glue glue if a wood glue could glue wood? Nevermind, I'm not starting that again. Flatbread is all the craze these days. Clearly you need to install a bridge. Bridges are more appropriate places for train accidents and much less likely to kill innocent bystanders, unless they're standing by the bridge or fishing under it or something. Just think of a more Addams Family style crash and save yourself a lot of trouble.

But not so much a dish as a flat disc. One serious winner of a pic there, I'm on the Anakin's hair love committee *y*

What game are we playing at the moment?

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. 18 hours in. -
And the tie is broken again in 007's favour ;-)

You're forgetting that there's an entire open wall in this fictional elevator X-D But you bring up a good point! If, in fact, you did sort of achieve a temporary weightlessness, could you open the hatch at the top of the elevator, climb up, and then jump just before it hits? I know better, but my mind just wants to believe in this, no matter how wrong it is. *wacko* Watch, they'll pull this stunt in a Bond movie and I won't even get credit. Of course he'll have a grappling hook in his Rolex (how exactly does that not snap his wrist when it's pulling him up?). Wait, who am I to be doubting that when I've got a crazy elevator theory... :-$

X-Wing Fighter and Luke Pilot Maquette Co-Pack
Shadows replied to Courleciel's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the US it was supposed to be yet another Toys R Us exclusive. It appeared long enough for people to preorder it, then disappeared completely. The stores now have just the maquette for $69.99, and they don't seem to sell around here. It would seem that the original co-pack idea was cancelled. I'm glad, personally, I didn't need another 6212 or really want the maquette, though I would have bought it if they had really been released at $49.99 (clearly a mistake). -
I can bust that myth for them myself. Not all of us crazy people even have medication to take! HA! :-P

That's a lot better than our old studios, it actually has some building qualities to it, and doesn't look like I could go from undead to dead at any moment. *y* As for the 'staff.' Most of those guys don't do any useful work at all and I have to spend half the day keeping them away from my babes in the hot tub. :-| It was about time that someone tried to make things a little safer around there though, it's like working in Muppet freakin' Labs most of the time. Oh, and I do not wear makeup. At least not on the job. :-$ :-P Clearly you've been spending too much time in Fairy Land. No, seriously, those come out of a set called ... Fairy Land! I'm going to just assume it was a random bricklink order thing. 8-| Though I must say ... if I found a pile of that set somewhere, I'd buy 'em up... :-$

Speaking of crazy theories, I've got one I was never able to quantify. You're riding in an elevator going down. 78th floor. As the floors pass, it gets faster and faster until you realise you're in freefall. This isn't your ordinary elevator, it's open to the elements on the outside wall (yes, I know, just humour me). Riding the elevator to the ground will kill you, obviously. Can you jump off at some point near the ground and actually minimize some of the damage, or ... Remember the thread about good posting where I said I abort 1/3 of my messages? This should have been one of them. :-| Crazy On! X-D

I've never actually bought the stuff, it was a gift. I do like the size of that bigger case though. Imagine knowing someone who goes through the stuff in quantity and talking them out of their empties ... *y*

Leia *wub* ... the first minifig that made me look at them a little differently ... -$ ;-)

Wow, you guys aren't having any luck at all... *n* Personally, I'll be getting it promptly sometime late in 2009, I expect, same time as the Wii drops to the price I want to pay and I start hording games at cheap prices. I always do this. I didn't get my Gamecube until very late 2005. I might actually try a slightly different route this time and pick up games along the way, whenever they drop to a cheap price. Then, one day, I'll get the system to play them and be all set. *wacko* (it isn't really as crazy as it sounds) Late Adopters On! *y*

One might argue that my first was a Shell gas station from the 80's (#6371). If you're asking about oldest, coincidentally, it's another Shell station (#690), this time picked up in an eBay lot and dating back to 1974. Since your question was clearly intended for the newer lines of licensed products, as in the ones based on movies etc, I'd have to say it was Graveyard Duel (#4766) from HP. Never actually built as the original set (except the tree, since I had no use at all for more rewn/frown/reddishpoopbrown). I wanted black chains, mechanical claws, and the sand green slopes. Plus random minifigs always come in handy. *y* That was the first and last HP set I've bought. Since then, I've picked up a couple of Spongebob sets and both of the Avatar sets, mostly because they were on a healthy clearance. I do buy licensed minifigs whenever I can, just because they provide new faces and torsos to work with, so I'm quite happy to see licenses, but especially so the upcoming Indiana Jones. *wub*

I was about to suggest exactly what you're talking about, I think. If so, it's Ferrero Rocher chocolates in a plastic case of 16 and the labels come off easily, from what I remember. Some people flip it so that the lid is on the bottom, thus causing less interferance in viewing, but whichever way you use it, it holds an 8x16 baseplate comfortably and is tall enough for pretty much any minifig. Don't know how widely available they are, but as I say, I have exactly one that I've used for minifigs.
