  1. Oh yeah, I am so going to start doing this one myself. I want to go to a store right now just to try it! Hey look, it's Spongebob! RRR! Um. Lemme try again ... Hey look, it's that new evil wizard guy! RRR! Well, I'll work on it. ;-) This is the post I've been waiting for! Don't get me wrong, I don't do this, never planned to do this, never will do this, wouldn't even consider it. Finally a post that makes all of my confessions feel normal! Thank you so much! X-D Oh, it's not really that bad. Unless you build with gloves on too, then that's just creepy and I'll require pics to verify it *wacko*
  2. Whoa, I showed up at what appeared to be a fundamentally appropriate time and this party is already well under way! >:-( ;-) Well, happy birthday ladies, you all look lovely in your coming out dresses (oh man, there are so many reasons that's just wrong, but someone had to say 'sweet 16' and my mind being what it is and oh nevermind ...) :-$ :-D Seriously, plenty of LEGO, plenty of cake, plenty of whatever else you can get! >:-) And plenty more birthdays, yet to come, surrounded by your friends here at EB! Growing Older But Not Up ... On! *y*
  3. A fine looking force woody64! *y* Could you perhaps add one more picture. Something with each of the types lined up in full view, perhaps in order by rank with a bit of explanation of who they are? I think that would be most useful to anyone wishing to replicate or fully appreciate your work. Again, very nice work! :-)
  4. ... each and every person who didn't buy the line. They're the true enemies that killed off the Vikings. >:-( Hey, I did my part, I bought loads of them! :-P
  5. I think I spend more time updating the Big Billboard o' Doom than I do building :-P
  6. I like that, it really has that feeling of forward momentum! Flying On! *y*
  7. Thanks! *whispers* Confidentially, your interview is one that I really want to redo, since it seemed like someone :-| sort of overshadowed you a bit. *ends whispering* So, how 'bout those 2008 sets. And stuff. X-D *whistles innocently* X-O
  8. Your examples always look better than my end result. >:-( ;-)
  9. Wow people, this thing just started and the great entires are already flooding in! *y* So far, I have my idea at least ... :-$
  10. Some valid points there. Taking all of that into consideration, the only true and fair answer is that both are equally good to get ... for free. Therefore, those people who have Pirates or WWW that they aren't fond of can send them to me. Address available upon request. >:-) ;-)
  11. And you still haven't >:-) :-D ;-)
  12. Or, better still, a 2 part question with a scale of 1-5 for each, thus producing a number which could be compared, if that's really necessary. 5 - Great! 4 - Pretty Good 3 - It's Ok 2 - Not really my thing 1 - Hate it! I'd end up dual 5-ing that question, but as it stands, I can't really come up with a correct answer. I love the heck out of Pirates, but I don't dislike WWW, even though I basically missed it in my dark ages.
  13. I would think it depends on what you whack them with. Feather duster *n* Aircraft carrier *y* ;-)
  14. Hey, no worries. It's good to see that the winning entry is the one still getting votes! Thanks for checking in! *y*
  15. Zymurgy and A Few Brick Short were excellent, the rest were definitely very good. I'd deal with any of them again without hesitation.
  16. I'll have disposed of fired promoted him by then, so it won't count and I'll have to do it all over ;-) Oh, and thanks for the fix *sweet*
  17. An assortment of eBay wins arrived including a nice quantity of female minifigs *wub* LEGO Babes On! *y*
  18. It's my favourite as well, no doubt about it. *wub* The tough stuff will start when I ask the questions. I mean, come on, the Jocko interview was pretty good, and those were mostly mine. We got all the way up to potential murder-suicides in that one *y* One day, when we've worn out everyone else, I think we may revisit some of the earlier interviews for a little followup action. Consider yourself warned :-P Until then, I don't even know what the kid has planned for next week. Being halloween, it should be interesting, whatever he comes up with.
  19. No, what's on second, we've already covered that! *whacks you with a Susquehana (boy I know that's spelled wrong) hat* *wacko*
  20. It's very cute, though I think it lost it's HC-514 license plate that it seems every car in LEGOland has ;-) It really would be just that much cooler with doors, and I'd swear they could fit in there nicely, without major modification. Only thing missing is the rope. What rope, you're asking? The one to tie the criminal to the roof with, since there's nowhere else for him to go! :-D
  21. Sometimes I try to follow these threads, but I don't know ... THIRD BASE! X-D
  22. So... how 'bout those digital entries for us cheapskates without a camera? :-$
  23. That's a pretty good list and covers a lot of the major ones. I'll add a few as I browse my feedback here... Zymurgy Lego - Some of the most creative parts descriptions on the site, everything is mint, and she likes to use way too many tiny ziplocks, which means I'm in love *wub* Hockey Bricks - I can't remember why, but I've dealt with him 2 or 3 times. An uneventful order is a good order. Gary Istok Historic LEGO - Author and seller of an excellent CD guide to early LEGO. A valuable resource when you're trying to figure out just what that part is, or where it came from. Or when. You get the idea. Land of Bricks - Not the worlds fastest shipper, but if you want a promo brick, this is the place to go. His other parts are in excellent condition as well, so putting an order together is easy. Cheapskate's - Fast, friendly, everything the way it should be, and when I ordered, he lived up to his name, everything was nicely under average price. A Few Brick Short - Had what I wanted. Sent it quickly. Threw in some extras. All around win. I'll probably add more later, but these stand out so far, and weren't already covered.
  24. It definitely has that federal post office look, solid and official. About all it needs is a row of post boxes outside and a flag pole. They always seem to have those. Very nice work, thanks for sharing it! *y*
  25. Aren't we really killing the UNdead? *skull* (which I find more than a bit rude, to be perfectly honest, but I'm going to let it pass ... this time) *wacko* Great idea for a contest and your example vig sets a high bar. That's a very nice chipper/shredder, I am so stealing that for something. *y* Oh, and you've been Billboard o' Doomified! :-)
