  1. True, in retrospect it would have to be called duped (don't mind stealing your word there), but through the time of the vote, I was still considering the possibility that it was a meatshield and only shifted to "maybe she's a noob" and he manipulated her when she ended up town. They were both related to Fred's behaviour, but probably should have been split better, especially since the second part was about both Fred and Daisy. The point I was making more than anything is that aside from our traditional bad behaviour, all of the big spats and worst confusion I've noticed so far have involved Fred, making him someone I'm interested in knowing more about. I'll have to double check the scumboard, can you send me the password again? I still don't have anyone on my list of people to trust and neither one qualifies as a lynch candidate to me, just worth watching a little more than the rest. I'm sure that list will develop over time and early indications may be completely wrong.
  2. Fred has bugged me since day 1 during the situation with Trish. There were times that it looked like he was trying to coach her into saying things that she didn't understand (and later said she never meant) and later ditched her like a convenient meatshield when she couldn't manage to say anything but nonsense babbling. I brushed that aside as her being a noob, but then today I saw the situation with the glasses/frames and how heated it got, only to suddenly (and it really was sudden) stop like everything was fine. To me, that looked a lot like an outside influence triggering a sudden retreat, as if a scum partner spoke up privately to stop it. I've seen both of them in action before and neither one will usually back down without a reason. I'd like to see the real reason, because I don't think we have at this point.
  3. Oh, and let's get this logged now, no sense taking any chances of missing the cutoff. Of all the cases presented today, this one makes the most sense, though I must admit that the situation with Daisy and Fred is still nagging at me a bit and will continue to be considered as we learn more. Vote: Walter (Waterbrick Down) But when it happened, you immediately said it was because of you, only later did you add the others. I find that odd, wouldn't you? I contributed earlier and I've voted to show my opinion. You really can't handle the tiniest bit of scrutiny? Noted.
  4. So you wanted her dead to get her off the suspect list, even though you weren't "at all sure" that she was scum and then it happened and you immediately took it as having been done because of your suspicion. Fair enough, it looks like that's the case, so why are you backing off that in your last post? Have you learned something to change your opinion about Jane or are you just getting paranoid that people will hold you to the decisions you claim to influence (and then claim not to)?
  5. That certainly narrows down the selection process for the day, doesn't it? I'll just add in my agreement that this doesn't look like the hand of god and that it would be an odd choice for a SK or even the scum, since it was a target we might have eventually lynched ourselves. Let's hope for good results.
  6. Lots of suspects for the day and given the early ending on majority vote situation, I think we would be smart to pace our voting and not end things before we can actually discuss them fully or a mistake will just let the scum pile on and prevent progress that could be important later. At this stage, the more discussion we have, the better. You have a bad habit of declaring that I'm playing my scum game when you wouldn't know my scum game if it bit you in the furry little megablocks or you wouldn't have a history of getting me killed when we're both townies. And losing when I'm scum, unless you are too. There, scrutinized. Oh, and you're not a gopher, but that was a classic. Have a penny.
  7. Maybe that's what passes for foreplay in their world. Sugar cubes in creative places is so much simpler. I'm kind of thinking the same thing, even down to your theories, but there are problems. First, if Daisy is a watcher, what kind of watcher would be represented by glasses without lenses? That's like a watcher who can't see but poses as one. I would imagine a much better representation to be something like binoculars or a telescope. Second, if it's her being framed, that would obviously be represented by something scummy, not something that actually says "this person is being framed", that completely destroys the purpose of framing. I don't see this as a likely option at all. Which leaves Daisy as a framer. It's ridiculously literal, but of the three, the closest to plausible. Whatever it is, we need to figure this out, so if someone else used a lunch of Daisy, this would be an excellent time to bring that forward. Otheriwse, we're here again, at that part where we think we know something, but the person being accused/suspected is making jokes. Daisy, stop. Please. This is not the time for jokes, it's the time to be serious, and right now there is some serious reason to suspect you. Talk to us and leave the jokes and insults out so we can try to understand what is happening here. Otherwise, it's just going to be day 1 again. Hopefully with better results. So on that note, if you're scum, keep on doing what you're doing and if you're not, just be as honest and direct as you safely can. Ok? *if someone else used a lunch on Daisy (correction)
  8. Uh huh, and every time you get all nervousy because I'm trying to help the town, you get me killed. And we both end up town. Sometimes I think you like me to death.
  9. Disappointing results, but we have an entire day of conversation to consider before making a decision today, plus an entire night of actions and late-night lunches, I'm sure. Reminder: This isn't the usual situation, you don't need to be quite as afraid to come forward with things you learn, we're actually at an advantage here. Since so many of us have lunches, as vague as their results may be, you can feel safe presenting what you learn without the fear of making yourself a target of the scum. Take advantage of that if you know something helpful, or even something confusing, it might take more than one of us looking at their results to piece together something useful. That said, I saved my lunch until such time as I see an appropriate use, so today for me will be a matter of listening, learning, and hopefully analysing something from what is said. Also, please don't be stupid today, townies. We don't need to make another mistake with our lynch, and the best way not to do that is for none of us to act suspicious. I know that can be rough, but really really try. For example, let's not make jokes about our roles or crazy claims. Look to day 1 and then don't do anything that happened there.
  10. Looks like a certain hedgehog has earned some pennies.
  11. Oh, sure. *carefully moves Oscar to the fencepost where he can watch those two as they 'repair the fence'* Let me know if anything exciting happens. While I might not phrase it exactly the same way, I can't argue the sentiment, every post she makes to clear it up makes it more confusing for me.
  12. Poor Zara! Well, maybe poor Zara, we really can't tell who did this, so we can't tell her alignment yet. Still, day killer seems pretty scummy, unless these lunches are more insane than I would expect. Or day serial killer? Does that even exist? Oh, and pay no mind to the horse and me in the background. We're, um, playing. And I think I'm talking to Oscar. And that hussy and the owner's husband are repairing the fence. Or something.
  13. Who exactly told you to claim? All I remember is people asking if you were claiming, which was a reasonable question after what you said.
  14. This whole situation is confusing and confusion only helps the scum, so until this is cleared up, I see no reason to change my vote. Whatever you are, you aren't intentionally helping us (though you are unintentionally helping by causing so much discussion). Here are the troubling points to me. You claim a bit of an odd role out of the blue and in the open on a day 1, then slowly seem to adjust the claim, mostly through a second party until finally "it's a joke, nevermind!" You receive a PM from one person to another "by accident" and that tells you that one of them is a townie and present that as evidence to us. Let's not forget that it involved the person in the previous point, who seems to be central to all of this. You lunchclaim to someone who then apparently tells someone else who then tells Oscar who then tells us. No chance of any confusion there, right? I think it's time you start making sense, don't you?
  15. Trisha: Your 'defense' isn't one. There are a lot of things that can be joked about in this game of life, hell, we have a talking hedgehog sitting on a horse's megablocks, but something as important as a means of identifying the scum is not one of them. That said, to humour those of you who actually find any logic in this claim... I am aligned with the town. I am wearing my town badge with town clusters and I may or may not be wearing town underwear. Wait, I'm not wearing underwear at all, scratch that one. Mike: You're not making any sense to me. At this point, there are lots of options, yet you're picking what looks like the least logical one. Dumb or scum. My vote stands.
  16. Assuming this is all true, and at this point I see no reason to doubt it, there are a lot of questions to be answered, questions that have already been asked and not answered in any logical way. That's enough for me to cast a vote. It doesn't mean I won't reconsider if given reason, but everything just keeps doing the exact opposite for me. It would be one thing not to know anything helpful, I can fully understand that, but to claim something suddenly, then keep changing the story until you finally back away from it completely? Not good. Vote: Trisha (TrumpetKing67) You have time to defend yourself, or even to just try to explain what all this was about. If you're a townie, please use it to save yourself. If you're scum, make some cookies and then die.
  17. Thanks Boney and Ace!
  18. I must admit, I don't care much for people anyway, a lot of them are judgmental and annoying and generally disagreeable to be around, but horses are the most wonderful, majestic creatures, better than people could ever be. Anyone who would harm them needs to die in the most horrible way possible. Don't think we won't catch you, and when we do... Consider yourselves warned threatened, and I've got the money to carry through with that threat.
  19. Let's see here... 5 by MadAboutLego - 1 point 6 by Sum1UCantNo - 1 point 8 by seaotter71 - 1 point And thanks to everyone who participated!
  20. Oh please. You apparently don't know who I am. My family is one of the oldest and most powerful in Heartlake. We own the mines that produce all of the coal required to power this fine city. When I'm not here enjoying the company of horses, my dearest friends in the world, I spend my time traveling and being exposed to new and exciting experiences, broadening my mind and living life to it's fullest. You know, while you're busy ... working. Your net value.
  21. Hi everyone, I'm Shadell! It should be noted that I spend a lot of my time with broads and horses, if you know what I mean. I don't keep my hair short for no reason. I am so confirmed.
  22. Thanks to all of you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves and died, that's pretty much all I was going for here. Well, you were killed by a pair of docks and you were targeted ... by you, so you figure it out, Dick. Damn good advice there.
  23. We don't talk about that. 1. Far too much. I'll even have time to harass the noob host and make penis jokes in the days. 2. I already said so, didn't I? Noob hosts. 3. The cake is a lie and should be lynched, therefore I choose you, steak-achuuu. This seems vaguely familiar. "Are you interested in a PC or Apple?" "Well, most people go for PC, so ..."
