Yes, without a doubt. Next year.

As we all agreed upon, I tried to protect Kyle, who said that no matter what happened, he could do his investigation. Seems that didn't quite turn out to be true. Now what? I think we can expect Draggy to block our night actions from here on out, which means we can't find out what Michael is up to, good or bad, to know if Savvy (dammit, Mary, now I'm doing it) is trying to stop him because he's good or bad. Stumped. Again.

Uh huh. Immensely. To me, this is a good indicator that we weren't on the right path. Here we go again. Why do I feel like that's a threat? Always a bridesmaid, never a bride... So, we're right back where we started... 2 days ago? Oh no, that's right, 2 days ago we could have not killed Fred. Let's try to get this right, while we still can.

Well, I ... nevermind. I doubt we'd want to host a non-LEGO themed game in community, but I see no reason why parts limitations should keep a LEGO one from happening. As long as you can manage a set of characters, how much more do you really need? Don't use Draggy as an example, he takes the building side of this to an extreme, when it's really just a strong story and interesting night actions that are required. -
Excellent! Maybe a little too excellent, especially sounding like so many forts and islands with no ships. It's not a very typical LEGO list at all. Still, we can hope. I must admit though... Kraken Attackin' is the lamest name I've seen for a set in years. Hard to say about the Soldier things, Shanghai Chase is listed as New Classic and it's Indy, so some of this might be a little hard to decipher. Only drawback to me is that this looks like everyone's dream list and I find it hard to believe that TLG could get this much right in one shot. Just the taun tauns are enough to make me wary. Yes, yes it would.

Excellent! I really liked the shark, cannon, and kahuka a lot. Expect to see them in future posts. Thanks for the votes, guys! It was a fun little contest. I hope to see more of you participating in future outings.

Well, it is Bionicle... I figure the vehicle sounding sets will be very minimal minis of some kind. Seriously, I'm just hoping it's worthwhile, we really won't know until closer in.

Snot really sure what you're talking about...

Does anyone know anything for a fact here? But logically, would LEGO allow their name to be put on non-LEGO toys?
-
Never seen that in my life. Traditionally, at least here, fast food toys show up by weeks. McDonalds is usually 8 toys spread out over 4 weeks. Sometimes it's faster, if they sell well, so you have to keep a close eye. Once they run through the initial lot, sometimes they start over, or clear out whatever is left, so it gets kind of random.
-
Excellent news! Honestly, stop worrying people. There is no way that LEGO would allow them to make a different toy and call it LEGO, that pretty much goes against their entire corporate image. It'll be real LEGO. As for McDonalds... everything in moderation. Or, just ask them to let you buy the toy separately. A lot of them will do that. If they want to charge as much as the meal, take the meal, give it to a homeless person outside and enjoy your LEGO. Do a good deed and stop griping. Geez.

Count me in! This kind of thing would be fun with a decent host. He knows I'm kidding. -
We'll consider you honourary, or dishonourary, as it would be.

So the forum is in English because Americans are stupid. Couldn't you have just said that, instead and saved us from having to listen to your two kroner worth? (it is two kroner, as opposed to two kroners, right?) Oh, and before someone comes along and mistakes my joke for something more serious (though honestly, Americans are stupid ), I'm one of those stupid Americans who wouldn't even attempt to use this site if it was in another language.

Cry us a river. -
I find it hard to believe that every surviving un-investigated person other than me is a traitor, but if they are, the loyalists still outnumber the traitors in the end, whether Kyle is dead or alive. You're right, no argument from me. I simply don't trust the results, especially since I've been one of the few voices that said that I thought he was a traitor, especially in light of the Michael/night action situation. It would be very easy for him to cast doubt on me, then act as surprised as anyone when I'm found to be loyal. I don't know that I can count on the lot of you to not be talked out of killing him, even after I would be found innocent, murdered because of bad information. I haven't fought this hard to avenge the King, only to be killed by deception. I should also repeat an earlier point. I don't think he can investigate me accurately, for the same reason Calvin couldn't, it'll end up inconclusive if he reports it honestly, and we'll have gotten nowhere. Plus, if we're taking sides based on investigation, Lord Savril should be next to die. He was the only person investigated by a mercenary employee of a traitor and called absolutely loyal. One could argue that Calvin meant he was loyal to the traitors, based on that perspective. I still think he only sold out Marcus to try to save himself, but it failed. Do you see me jumping to conclusions based on all of that?
-
I've never been sure how Savril caught on to Marcus before the rest of us, but aside from that one slip-up costing poor Grim his life, he was apparently stopping Marcus from killing us. Did we ever confirm that Lord Savril stopped the attempt on the Friar? I never have understood that one... Exactly. I can't even figure out what his night action is, but he sure hasn't been willing to share that information with us, and then it turns out that Lord Savril can block it, after previously blocking a traitor. Seems to indicate that they are on opposing sides, and Savril having formerly been opposite Marcus makes it seem like Michael and Marcus have something in common. Remember: Lord Savril tried blocking me one night, and instead, nothing happened. Why? Because I wasn't up to anything bad. It's only risky if everyone isn't buying your story. If you plan it right, you get everyone so confused that they can't figure out what to do, then you provide them with the answer they want, and they'll believe it. That's what I feel is happening here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Draggy yell at several players, including him, about being misleading concerning things they had been given in their opening profiles? Exactly what I'm thinking. It's the perfect way to get an immediate answer. If he's not a loyalist, we know that nothing he said can be trusted. If he is a loyalist, we kill everyone left, though I'd like to be last, since I'm actually innocent and not exactly up for martyrdom. I'm telling you... Kyle dies and we have all the answers we need in one shot. There can't be more than a couple of traitors left, we aren't going to upset the balance with one more killing, right or wrong.
-
I don't think there is any risk of anyone dying today. Good thing this wasn't one of those "kill someone or die" Draggy days though, huh?
-
You know, I get notes from our dear-departed Grim all the time, asking me to avenge his death, hunt down the idiot who didn't save him, and you don't see me mentioning it, do you? So, seriously folks. What are we going to do here? Sit for another night, let the mercenary investigate and then spend all of tomorrow trying to figure out whether we can trust him or not? Oh, and just what do we think Michael will do with his night action? You know, the one that Lord Savril blocked violently. Huh. If Kyle says that Michael is loyal, and Michael was attacked by Lord Savril for doing a night action, does that mean that Lord Savril is a traitor who had to stop whatever action it was, since it was by the opposition? I guess it depends on which one of them you want to believe. Kyle and Michael, or Savril. Whatever, we're not going to do anything today.
-
Hmmm... I guess you'll just have to wait and see. <hint> Oh, and an announcement... This isn't the last of these yearly reviews I'll be doing. </hint>
-
See, that's the kind of stuff that makes me worry about you. I haven't spent anywhere near every night with her, and even provided a detailed list of all the different people I had spent the night with. That would be Grim. You might remember him as the poor loyalist you forgot to kick a pigeon and save. Again, it wasn't that often, and once the killers were dead, I didn't have any serious business left, so it didn't matter who I picked. Excuse me for falling into Draggy's lurid trap, but when the game ... of life ... got boring, it was at least mildly interesting to pick her again and see if he would make it sordid. Cheap thrills in a castle of boring. I just got a note: Whatever. These idiots don't listen to reason. They're more interested in an self-proclaimed investigator who hasn't done anything to actually help us. Just like the first one. Another note? Welcome to the Castle. Oh, and Kyle. Live or die, you don't help. The only way anyone here could really trust you is if they employ you. Oh, wait, that doesn't work either, Calvin stabbed his boss in the back to try to save his own skin. Sound familiar?
