  1. See, now there is the problem. I already suspected him, but given your unlikely batting average (I recognise the bat injuries Miguel inflicts), we can't be certain of these results. Exactly the point I'm at. I wasn't aware of his attempting to do that, but he certainly might have planned to, there's just no way to tell. You did not convert them, but I have no idea if you tried or intended to and failed due to my presence. Unfortunately, I can't alibi you on that, nor can I condemn. Thus sayeth the Lord. Disregard his divine prank-pulling. AMEN! You have previously claimed to attend church. Perhaps stepping on such holy ground would be upsetting for certain people who chose not to attend? Something to consider. Yes, and now he has both shown himself to be armed and dangerous, as well as failed to attend church. I feel we have enough to take a shot here, but I'll wait for more discussion. All I can be certain of is that if he tried, he failed. I have never been fully aware of who protected me, but in a way, did anyone? I mean, the shot missed, then Miguel was chased, but does that really mean I was guarded, or just that God decided to spice up the story a bit with the chase? Beats a bunch of Greek armour and a carrot. Praise God, someone with some sense. As I've listened to all that has been said thus far, I have waited for that simple revelation and now it has arrived. Let's make a list, check it twice and burn the hell out of a witch.
  2. Having feared for his continued spiritual safety, especially given his unique abilities, I went looking for Miguel last night and found him, shortly after the incident with Hernan. He lives today because the Lord led me to him and blessed my hands with the needed skill to patch him back up and restore him to health. I feel that he has shown his willingness to cooperate with the work of the Lord. I still believe that Hernan is suspicious and quite possibly a heretic, but let us deal with more immediate matters first ... I don't see Sergio as that absolutely loyal to make a good test, but let us hear the results of this effort and consider them carefully, as Mustafa has asked. How anyone would tamper with a holy icon during the service is beyond me, but it does seem like something that was being pointed too in those particular paintings. The meaning is beyond me as well, but based on where we're all standing, the only one who could be doing anything with it is the Inquisitor, and why would he? Is anyone else getting suspicious about the constant looks Charles and Philip are giving each other? I'm beginning to think this is more than just jealousy, lust, or God trying to be funny ... And how about that face on Hernan's father? At one time, people were convicted of serious charges based solely on eyebrows like those.
  3. Your damn straight it's true. If you were paying more attention to your town and the problems it's experiencing, you'd already know that, as well as why. The bottom line is that your son has been telling tales and sending potato messages with conflicting information in them, trying to cause confusion and division amongst the good citizens of Azufre. Being experienced in this game ... of life ... that can only give him one motive. Heresy. Now one must wonder if the apple falls far from the tree. I see it does indeed run in the family. First, I did not tell him to do anything, I suggested it, just as I made other suggestions. I do not have power over anyone but my own self-control. Everything else is in God's merciful hands. Second, he chose to act upon it, which was not something I would have known in advance as I do not feel that the potato message is an appropriate way to conduct oneself in this game ... of life. I think it smacks of plotting and deception, but you'd have to ask your son about that, wouldn't you? Third, isn't this day over? Why do we all seem to sit around and chat at night?
  4. Seems that Miguel, or someone, is sloppy. I suppose he could be the assassin who never succeeds or something. Now, to think logically... if it was him, he was trying to do as asked, which would be a good sign, if it wasn't him, it would mean that someone else can kill in the night... Annoying. Every time we could get an answer, every time we kill a witch, we still end up troubled by new issues.
  5. It's in 'Other Themes' now, no worries.
  6. Excellent! Personally, I think ... is pure Linky goodness, and on the side, it works perfectly well for Hermie the Elf who wanted to be a dentist in the old holiday disaster classic, Rudolph the Overindulgent Alcoholic Red Nosed Reindeer. Keep us updated on your progress, please! Uh, yeah, I noticed that too.
  7. I've always liked this model. If you do make instructions, would you consider sharing them here? As well as pics of your box art efforts. It would make an interesting thread, I think. I actually tried to convert this moc to mlcad once, but either got distracted by something or stuck, I can't remember which. It's a heated and warped something else. What that something else is, I can't be sure, but it could be anything from a green cap to a rag wrap. The wrap is the most likely to be easily converted, and fortunately, it is going to pop up in green in the cheapest of the new Pirate sets, so it'll be an easy part to get, just not yet. Until then, you could experiment with green caps. Otherwise, someone sculpted it themselves. It's possible, assuming they make green sculpy, but it looks too smooth to me, I'm betting on a heat and warp job.
  8. Geez. He has a sword, a dagger, one huge carrot (witchcraft!) and a scarecrow with ... a witches hat on it. I'm not even sure what to say here, I just wanted to mention all that.
  9. Praise God! Amen! Please don't give them any ideas. Are the filthy heretics really named Shirley? I would now suggest that all of the good citizens of Azufre pray to God, informing him of their intended actions on this night. The heretics and witches should, however, forward their prayers to me and I'll make sure they're dealt with accordingly, just as quickly as we can gather some more firewood.
  10. Because there isn't anyone in town I trust enough to use as the test subject except myself. That's the way it is. Even though I have some people I believe are good, I can't be certain. Can you? OR because Philip is a heretic. Let's not forget that possibility. Just tell me who is so absolutely clear of suspicion... Sometimes. In the Legend of Mystery Castle, a rotten bugger named Rotrigous used just such a method to almost survive the whole thing, had it not been for people not listening to him when he wanted to kill the torturer. Dammit. I mean, it's quite an interesting story, isn't it? Sadly, the people seem to agree. I don't know if she is or isn't guilty, nor do I think any of us do, but she was higher on my suspicion list than you (prior to the Inquisitor's proclamation of your guilt), so fine... the people have spoken. Let us pray they have spoken wisely. Unvote: Mustafa Vote: Sabrina Hopefully, that both finishes her off and she is actually guilty. I still think Miguel should kill Hernan though, he hasn't just been a little confusing, he's been intentionally so in my opinion, and that marks deceit, not a mistake. I also agree with the Inquisitor keeping his investigation private, it does make good sense.
  11. Forced by the devil, perhaps. Witch!
  12. Of course. Now it seems he's sent out enough conflicting messages that I'd like Miguel to kill him tonight. Pure and simple. There can be no good reason for that kind of activity. I agree that Martinus should kill someone, I was just suggesting Hernan. I'd like the town to vote for Mustafa, since it's based on the word of the Inquisitor and not simply suspicion. Exactly. He seems hell-bent on confusing us. That can be for no good. No no, now you're making a mistake. Don't vote for Philip to die, vote for Philip to be *cough* tested *cough* as a traitor by Martinus. So, to summarize the path I see as correct for the day... I would (and have), vote to kill Mustafa on the word of the Inquisitor. So far, all of the witches have cried and moaned about how much good they could do and how we're all making a mistake and then they've gone to hell. Let's keep up the good work. I also vote that Miguel should kill Hernan. He's an experienced player, but he's acting like a he's never played this game ... of life ... before. That can only mean one thing... deception. I also suggest that the Inquisitor look into Philip's loyalties. I think he could have been trying to turn one of the Savril family (isn't it Charles and Joan Savril?), yet he could also be a simple peeping tom and not someone we need to kill. Investigate his investigation claims before deciding his fate. I will determine who I guard. If we are to believe that Sergio is also a guard, I would suggest that he does the same. We have enough things announced right now. If we say "protect <player>", the witches know to target someone else. No one benefits from that except them. If any of the other actions are blocked, we'll know that they were on the right path and the witches prevented them. We'll just try again tomorrow with some new twists thrown in and eventually, we'll get the job done. On the other hand, if we make 2 good witch hits in one night, we might have this plague under control. That's my take on this. I don't expect that to change unless more is revealed as the day proceeds.
  13. Before commenting on things already said, I would like to bring up one interesting point. I have had a great deal of time to think and it leads me to this... The one and only potato message I have received during these days was also received by someone else (and perhaps more of you). In it, I was told that I was the only person they trusted, but they were hesitant about that. I was told very clearly that they didn't trust the other person who said they received one. I am certain they were told the same, in reverse. That indicates they were lying to me about that fact, and probably to them as well. The message attacked a third someone, who at least presently we're trusting is loyal (and I do believe they are). Why would someone do that if they weren't looking to divide and conquer, and what purpose would that serve to a loyal citizen? I would strongly urge the Inquisitor to take these words to heart and investigate the person who sent him that potato message. I am fairly certain they wouldn't have done so without evil intent. I would literally be willing to withdraw my vote for Mustafa in favour of this person right now, if I knew the support would exist, but an investigation would be a better way to go, I think. There are many ways to die, the worst being the one that leaveth the life, but taketh the soul. Am I clear enough, now? No. What I do at night, no man can stop without taking my life. We saw how well that went on night 1. Amen! He may be a pervert, or perhaps he has another intent and is being denied the opportunity. I've had my suspicions about him since his rebellious talk a few days ago, his definite interest in the word of man over the word of the one true authority over our lives... Tinypius God! Of course, he may also be some kind of nighttime investigator, looking for witchcraft to expose. I don't know how to test these possibilities presently. I would also add that no, I was not in your room the first night, I didn't think it would serve a purpose, I was fairly convinced you were already lost. The next night was more to try to learn something. Last night was actual concern.
  14. Fine, I am not one to doubt the word of the Inquisitor, with one qualification. Since you are certain of your word, you'll be held to it if it's wrong. Vote: Mustafa / Dragonator I pray you are right, or my next vote has been decided as well. I have no idea what Sergio is doing, as I wasn't informed of his presence previously, but it seems I am now aware that it has happened before. For all I know, he could be there conspiring with someone or trying to, perhaps, lead someone astray. If he is, I can at least be certain that it isn't working against one of you. I'm a bit creeped out too, I have never before seen a woman in bed. Uh. Or a man. OR A MAN! I need to go pray now. I think the reason is obvious... To my way of thinking, they would be natural targets of the witches because of their position and their wealth, as well as their active nature in the town. So, shame shame, everybody knows your name, Mustafa the dirty Baritone. Oh, I'm not up to all that editing, you know the routine. Baritone. Bastard. Bitch. Witch. Blah blah. And if it doesn't turn out to be true, we shall avenge your death. You have my word on it.
  15. Are you ladies having a pyjama party in here? If Mustafa would be so kind as to check his shop for some marshmallows, I believe I have some chocolate and graham crackers or maybe sacramental wafers or something to make smores, roasted off the body of one of those evil witches. Maybe we could even sit around in the warm glow and tell stories. I know all kinds of stories. Most of them aren't particularly believable, but hey, it's all in good fun! Who says the Church can't party?
  16. I bet we weren't, at least not exactly. The difference between the two would be most revealing, and I am inclined to suspect that a similar message made it's way elsewhere, but whether it did or not, I find it a bit odd, at the very least, considering that we all know Miguel is a killer and his purchase of killing implements is just part of the job. I see. That is revealing. I am of the same mind. That said, I think we may wish to carefully scrutinize our silent and unsolicited informant tomorrow. Actually, it was a Potato Message, a small note carved into a potato and tossed through an open window. Similar result and less kicking required. Pigeon messaging went out in the middle ages after some foolish nobleman forgot to kick one and save the life of a loyal guard of the kingdom. The potato message was actually invented around that time as the citizens of the kingdom found themselves practically buried in potatoes after an unfortunate wagon incident. The 1670's were a particularly disturbing period in fashion for us all. It seems that Philip is still stuck in it. I must admit to having fallen into the bell-bottom leisure robe sensation that was going through the priesthood at the time. Mine were baby blue.
  17. Sorry I wasn't able to join in earlier but, though it may seem out of character, I was incredibly busy visiting the sick in another town and upon my return from the trip, I was exhausted. I am just now rising from a nap and trying to catch up on the events of the day. I'm not sure I see the question for all the confusion, but I'll try... Almost everyone seemed to approve of the plan initially, but it did rely on our coming to a mutual decision. In reality, it would be no different than condemning Cassandra, as has been done today. We decide, someone dies. One isn't any more or less murderous than the other, except that when we agree as a group and take it to God, he seems to understand our purpose, to defeat the witches. I believe the same would be true here, assuming we had chosen wisely. If we had determined two likely suspects, we could have taken out a second one and tested the loyalties of our supposed loyal night killer, but reading back, I can't see anyone definite enough to do that with, so we should skip that idea. It does, however, leave us back to the question of Miguel's loyalties, but that isn't much of a departure from where we are with everyone else anyway. On that subject ... when I returned to the Church, I found a note that claims that Miguel purchased the scimitar and that the note writer 'involuntarily' purchased a rug and hat. That concerns me, given the nature of the only hat I recall seeing in the shop, as well as the claim of involuntary action, like one would see in demonic possession. I noticed other accusations and claims concerning the scimitar and wonder if all of these claims are coming from a single source, attempting to use these notes to confuse the matter. Would anyone have something to offer on this subject? That said, I am a humble Priest and can't be expected to count the number of votes cast and such, so instead I will: Unvote: Sabrina Vote: Cassandra / Bob the Construction Man / Dirty Bastard Baritone Bitch Witch (I hope... it seems a little light in the evidence department to me, but she was on my potential list). I would add that it is interesting to see how many husbands accuse their wives in this game ... of life. Makes one wonder.
  18. Ok, I'm going to have to resign from the staff now and save myself the embarrassment of going against entries like this. I don't have the space, time, or skill to even come close... Oooh, look at the pretty flames. I like the pretty flames. Watch me make them bigger! Hey... what's that ugly broad doing dirtying Sinner's blade with her nasty blood? Oh, I see now, that's no dame, that's Governor Hinckleman in disguise. I must admit, he fills that dress nicely, though... Too many months at sea. Too many months at sea. Oooh, flames.
  19. Martini lunch? Count me in! Oh, wait... Martinus. Well, whatever. Give me some of that garlic bread that Azufre is so famous for. As for Sabrina... she'd better be talking or she'll be walking. We get it. We heard you the first time. Doesn't mean we're quite ready to change our votes, though. Let's hear what she has to say, 3 votes won't condemn her, but if she doesn't have something good to say, it won't stop at 3.
  20. Has this one been possessed by a demon or something? Of course none of us are gay, how could anyone in a town threatened by witches be happy enough to constitute gay? Well, I guess the witches might be. Hey everyone, the witches are gay! Is that a clue? I think it's a little predictable, but I see some validity in the argument. Plus, idle hands are the devil's playthings, and this one hasn't been participating, so ... Vote: Sabrina / alexrider7 Hey Charles, Philip seems a bit depressed and defensive. Any idea what's wrong?
  21. If I want to post a picture somewhere, I want it in a folder I control, not linked to someone else. I assume others are the same. The important question here is ... why do you care? I mean, it isn't as if legit MOCs aren't capable of being posted because Brickshelf is out of space, so what does it matter? If they ever have an issue with space, I'm sure they'll say something, but I'd expect them to crack down on useless 3000x2000 .bmps first.
  22. Or Charles and Philip, the megabloks starer... *gives both a wary eye* On the first day, we were told that the bakery received no business at lunch, as I recall, and the three shoppers were over at Mustafa's. Now 2 of them are at the bakery. Plotting something? I wonder how their voting and accusation histories would look... Which one is Isabella? Seriously, has she said anything? I hear of people going to the church, but I don't see them, I don't get their donations in the poor box, I don't even get to hear their confessions. It's like being an internet preacher or something. Whatever that is. Agreed., though honestly, I think we're all a little curious to know what the others are doing in the night, so it could be simply that. John, Cassandra, or Sabrina. They're all we've got. I'm a little curious why she was going to buy carrots to make an apple pie... She seems confused, confusing, or maybe that's her plan...
  23. It is good that most of you see the wisdom in the test I have suggested, but thus far, no one has a suggestion for just how to implement it (or upon whom). I confess to being just as uncertain. A couple of points though. 1, Mustafa: Every shipment of items makes him look more suspicious, but I am beginning to believe he has no control over this, which leads one to wonder who actually owns his shop or controls his supplies. I can't imagine he is this stupid or bold, but it doesn't mean that he isn't guilty anyway and feigning ignorance of the situation. So, here is an alternative idea... what if God is warning us? Gunpowder could mean another attack coming, but we're supposed to believe that the attacker was a good citizen, so that isn't very clear. Maybe we should just have Miguel kill Martinus and Martinus investigate Miguel and ... no, that's crazy. The hat, however... Any witch should already have a hat, so I fear it indicates that they have somehow recruited a new one to their evil ranks. 2. The Legend of Mystery Castle. Yes, I have considered that this whole confession is a trick. The only thing I know is that he tried to kill me, and I'm not a witch, so that's a strike against him in the Good Book. 3. Philip is staring at my megabloks again and it's making me nervous.
  24. I have a few ideas... No, really, I wouldn't know at this point. I suggest we discuss it as a group and try to come to a logical selection if we can. I'd rather be sure of your loyalties than to simply kill you and find out we removed a valuable weapon from our arsenal.
  25. Bastard! Baritone! Bitch! Witch! Good job! I really thought we'd screwed up...
