  1. Yes we do! I'd say welcome to EB based on your 5 posts, but you've been here a lot longer than I have. You did a very nice job on these, maybe you could post more often and share other creations, especially anything else Zelda or game related, I suspect the would be a lot of interest in that. What did you have in mind? Maybe someone else would pick up the project if they had a few ideas.
  2. The LEGO Store in Orlando is sold out of everything but the largest set, but there have been quite a few reports of TRU having various sets in stock. All you can really do is have him drop in and check a few, or call ahead and hope that someone will actually look. If you're more specific about what city he is in, a member there might be able to provide more specific information. Good luck!
  3. Prepare to die... it was this year, maybe 6 months ago. Downtown Disney, Orlando. They had received a couple of cases of random minifig parts that weren't intended for the build-a-fig and I just happened to pick the right moment to arrive. Ended up with a pile of black aviator helmets and more bley crossbows than any one person could ever need as well. Add in the blue and red rag wraps, some random hair and a variety of racing helmets, pikes, spears, axes and a few samurai swords, and it was a surprising little haul. I had to manually pick out the good stuff from amongst all of the race helmets though, there were literally thousands of those with a very limited number of the good things. All in all, worth the time and effort.
  4. Your face sounds like witchcraft. (ok, Wikin made me laugh, I'll admit) Seriously, I thought you had a wife to service. Twice. Oh, done already...
  5. Now try it in context. Clearly, he is indicating that some of the clues are going to be misleading, we would expect no less, but facts are facts. When a game moderator states the alignment or role of a character, it is hard fact. It isn't up for debate or doubt, it is what it is. A witch, declared by any game moderator, is a witch. Please show me a single source that claims that a narrator/moderator/host will lie about the alignment of the lynched, and I'll agree with you. If Dragonator had pulled something like that, you would have given him a harder time than you did. I don't think Tinypies is either, you're just making an issue where it doesn't exist for your own purposes. From mafiawiki: End of story. The players aren't lied to, they aren't deceived or mislead, they're told the truth, success or failure. We have been told that each of the 4 choices have been witches or heretics, therefore they must be or this game ... of life ... is a farce. More mafiawiki: Not a lie about their role, not a distorted interpretation of their role, just their role. If their role is 'witch', I think we can feel pretty secure that we've killed the right person. Unless, of course, you don't want to kill witches. More mafiawiki: Alignment. Again, not a lie or deception. Their alignment. The most basic piece of information we have to go on. If the desire was to not reveal that information accurately, it would simply be left out. There is no requirement that it be told, but if it is, it had better be true because the words of a mod during the non-narrative part of his post is supposed without bias, and lying in that way would unfairly alter the game in favour of the scum. And again, not a single one of the 'victims' has claimed to have been innocent, except before death. 2 have confessed after death. So seriously, get over it. The witches are dying. The town is doing exactly what it should, and you can't stop it.
  6. It's been mentioned in some of the reviews, but it's good to see it discussed seperately since it's such great news. I, too, miss the true yellow epaulettes, but it's nice having blue and red return, along with the new gold. I don't think there was anything wrong with yellow, but it's one more variation, so I'm not complaining. Similarly, I wish the dark green rag wrap was just green, but I'll live with the few I have and I love more colours. As for the cutlass, it can't hurt. I mean, I have literally dozens of extras in old grey from a lucky visit to a LEGO store with a well-stocked PaB, but I'll take 'em. Same trip also netted me a pile of red and blue rag wraps and old brown muskets. I assume they had cleaned out some old bins at the factory and were dumping them to make room. A happy day for me, I'll say that.
  7. None taken, it was just a crazy idea that I heard someone kick around once. Still, look at what has happened so far. We have an Inquisitor who thinks everyone is a heretic and no one being killed at night. We've taken 4 chances and they've all been witches. People are confused, horribly, going back and forth making silly and often conflicting accusations. As far as real evidence, what has happened? Even the few night actions that have been taken have ended oddly. Attacks with no death, investigations that show nothing. I ended up playing nurse when that isn't even vaguely part of my role. You run a shop but don't control the goods and can't track who buys them. The torturer can't remember what he's done. The killer can't kill anyone. Charles is married. See? It's like the whole thing is a deception. Just a silly theory based on the lack of any real proof to point to. Exactly. Thank you for being one of the few to apply logic. Clearly, we have killed 4 witches/heretics, as hard as that may be to believe. From the descriptions, 2 may have been original witches and 2 were turned, but all were evil. So why is Charles trying to claim that they weren't? Why is he misusing the words of Tinypius to indicate that everything he says is a lie when all he said was that some things may be misleading (like people arriving late, shopping, the normal clue type stuff)? Why has he gone so far as to declare that Hernan wasn't a heretic at all? How would he even know that without being a witch himself? Why is he so insistent on trying to put doubt into us when we are succeeding, even to the point of trying to manipulate the very structure of this game ... of life? Why is it working so well, and why did he target the Inquisitor on day 1? How about his own wife? Why does he target me when simple logic says that I'm innocent, as proven by the venom with which Hernan, the known heretic, attacked me? Why do I sincerely doubt that he would go calmly to his death after the Inquisitor is murdered and shown to be innocent? Come up answers to all of that and things will be much clearer for you in the future. But the inquisitor isn't the one posting that they're burning in hell, Tinypius is. And so far, as Mustafa noted, not a single one of the heretics has gone to the discussion thread to claim otherwise. If you were innocent and declared a heretic on your death, wouldn't you say something?
  8. Funny how jumpy and accusational you get when nothing is said that could possibly warrant that. Still, you did use the correct term, "imagining", since you would have to be to even consider that possibility. My point is: in no other game ... of life ... that I have ever heard of, would the narrator lie about the final disposition of the dead. The only time one was ever even slightly misleading was relating to a character who returned as a ghost, and that was indicated through the use of a different avatar, and even then the person was said to be good, and they were. This is not a proper situation, and it seems to be intentional or someone needs to seriously figure out what they're doing before they ruin this whole thing. If it is intentional, it's leading me to think that it's all a ruse and there really may be no witches at all, just suspicion, paranoia and deception on the part of the host. Anyone ever heard of a situation like this where the dead are declared to be in hell/guilty/heretics and yet might not be?
  9. What if there are no witches at all? What if this is just a case of mass hysteria? I'm starting to think it could be, given the fact that in no other game ... of life ... like this that I've heard of, would the narrator/host/whatever potentially lie about the loyalty of the dead. If they were declared "uncertain" or "no evidence" I would buy it, but to say they're burning in hell indicates knowledge that should be absolute. Insanity. Pure insanity. Now I know you've been turned.
  10. This reminds me of the long-lost Paradisa line, just not in the traditional pink. For example: Clearly, this is a much nicer 4x4 design, and the white fence will be much handier. That Paradisa set was $16 for 126pcs in 1992, so this is a bit steep, but not totally out of line. It's good to see a return to this kind of set. No uniforms, no traditional workers, just people living their lives. That's something we've been missing for far too long. Good job, LEGO, and nice review 5150!
  11. Before there are any more accusations thrown about, let's clarify one thing visually. The Inquisitor may be the one who says, "HERETIC!" as they burn, but it's God who sends them to hell. If they weren't heretics, would he do that? Consider that case closed. Now stop trying to distract the issue and stop doubting our successes, those are proven. The matter to decide is how we have been successful and how much we can trust it in the future. You will also note that both Bernard and Hernan's obits would lead one to believe that they were converted, not always bad. In the case of Hernan, if even says "recently", and since he wasn't one of those investigated by the Inquisitor, he couldn't have been converted in that manner, so that kills another idiotic theory. See how a little fact can wash away the stain of lies and allegations that have no foundation? Look deeper, people, before it's too late!
  12. Another fine review, TheBrickster! Love this set, not so much for it's brilliance, but for it's intent. Lure in the new fans and make the old ones buy a set outside of their usual range to get an exclusive figure. It's pure marketing, and sometimes that doesn't work out well, but in this case, it's a neat little set with enough positives to make it worthwhile. I actually considered swapping to that head at one point, but upon closer inspection, it's a little too youthful for me. The torso, however, may enter sigfig rotation. The hat... well, the cartoony skulls are about the only thing I really don't like much in this line, so I'll pass on using it. They might grow on me, in time... you never know. If this sells well, I wouldn't be surprised to see a castle equivalent, or maybe TLG could use it as a way to test something new. A set like this with a ninja and one with a cowboy. See what sells better then produce a line. It's a decent test. I'd buy both.
  13. Unbelievable! Or maybe not so. The military hasn't done anything in all of this, but you'll take care of it. I suppose the three of you will be invading some neighbouring city soon, in hopes of finding those evil terrorwitches? Hear this and understand it. If the Inquisitor is killed tomorrow, and turns out to be innocent, I will not rest until Charles has been dealt with. Will you all stand so firmly against him, as you are against the Church, or will you allow him to weasel out of it and continue to live and manipulate you? If there are still enough good souls left in this town at that point, we will stop you, by God! This is why you continue to live, you have continued to appear reasonable amidst all of the twists and turns and allegations. I don't know if it is truth or an act, but I want to respect it, at least in it's appearance. I could have sworn he was responsible for more. I can't argue the possibility that he is sick in some way, he sort of hinted at it after the first investigation, but at one point I thought he also seemed to indicate that he was becoming more certain in his efforts. I have heard of this phenomenon in games ... of life, where one's sanity returns and they are able to do the job they were intended to do with accuracy. We cannot be certain that this isn't the case either. I do think that the fact that the torturer isn't allowed to remember the results of his work is an indicator that God was providing a way for the Inquisitor to be paranoid without being challenged in his words. I don't believe that is for evil, but simply representative of his mental illness. Since we are told in two different ways that we have killed a heretic (both from the lips of the Inquisitor as controlled by God and in the form of "burning in hell" updates in the first post of a new day), I believe it's true. Nothing will convince me otherwise. As for the Inquisitor... I think he's mentally ill, but well intended. I think he got lucky in the past and as the days have passed, I think he's improving in his mental state. I would like to believe that, I would, but I can't take anything he says to heart. I am sincerely beginning to believe that he was turned last night and now he is trying to reverse all of his previous words to fit a new situation. If that is the case, he clearly can't help it, but that doesn't mean that we should be deceived as well. As for putting his life on the line, that's an old routine. I first saw it in the Legend of Mystery Castle, but I'm sure it predates that. However, if Charles gets his way and ends up wrong, as I believe he would, I do hope the town will actively take him up on his 'generous' offer.
  14. I don't fear any man, least of all you. My strength comes from God, who will always win in the end. You can babble a good tale, but if people think carefully, they'll see through it. I don't know if you're confused, bewitched, or a flat out heretic, but right now you're as useless as the Inquisitor who can't be sure what he's doing. I'm beginning to think that madness is the disease of the day in Azufre. You may want to refer back to the Legend of Mystery Castle. In it, a lovely but somewhat loose maid had busy nights, but no official night action. She was, nonetheless, a traitor, sadly. Further, what better thing is there for someone with a night action to say? Personally, I never sleep at night, nor do others who have Holy duties to perform, like an investigator. Seems you're trying to set up an argument by which you will convinct all of those who have night actions. I hope they notice that ploy and remember it when the time comes to take action. Does that seem like a reasonable cause to murder him, as Charles is suggesting? Do you believe that paranoia makes guilt? If anything, it makes me think he must be innocent, but I'm not planning to take his word on anything (which is good for you, huh?). And yet he wanted to kill you yesterday, instead of the proven guilty Hernan. By the way... according to the voice of God, he and only he controls what is said in the posts he makes. Yes, I checked on this. Does it mean that everything we see is perfectly true? Not necessarily. I'll admit, that part disturbed me a bit, but when the Inquisitor says that someone is a heretic, those are the words of God in his mouth. Since we have already seen two of them confess to that, after making impassioned and incredibly dishonest attempts to claim otherwise, it just confirms that we have actually been killing witches. I have gone down that road with Charles before, and when he was speaking with reason, I did consider what he had to say, but he has changed since last night, it is incredibly clear to any who will read and comprehend this change. He has, in just this day, contradicted the word of God by claiming that Hernan was really innocent when he was not, he has accused everyone associated with the Church (yet again), when even you will admit that the Inquisitor is probably just crazy (and if he was crazy AND a heretic, I bet he would be finding everyone innocent, yet he has been correct time and again, as confirmed by the words God places in his mouth). For a shopkeeper, you don't count well. The Inquisitor, directly or indirectly, was involved in finding 3. Hernan, the 4th, was found by the agreement of the town, without an investigation. While the Inquisitor believes he knows 2 more, that is untested, so claiming that he has found 6 is wrong. He has found 3, and 2 of those confessed in time. That's a pretty good record for a paranoid, isn't it? While I agree that he is causing confusion, so are others. I don't see us so quick to condemn them, and they haven't brought us the kind of success that the Inquisitor has. If you are, as you claim, innocent, don't be so blinded by hate for the man who says you are guilty that you destroy the opportunity for good that could come from working intelligently, carefully, and without allowing ourselves to be influenced by someone who has changed direction so quickly.
  15. This day has revealed a new problem in town. I would recommend that you all review the days we've spent together since this ordeal began and see who has changed direction drastically, only since last night. Also see who voted against killing Hernan, who was, in fact, another heretic. It's all very clear if you take the time to see it. So now we're declared as "the three witches"? Well, at least I know what the real witches did last night, they turned you. Anyone hearing my words can look and see the sudden change in you, it should be obvious. As for there being 6, no one knows that, and no one knows how many more they've turned in the night. Like you. I believe it was the future I saw, a future coming true now. We have? Only in your imagination. So far, we've convinced witches and heretics and God has reported that to us. Whatever we may think of the tools he is using to do the reporting, he is putting those words in their mouths, thus they are true. To deny them is to deny God, something you are only suddenly willing to do. Or they are witches. They told us that stash2sixx was a witch (whatever was his character name?) and he was. They told us that Cassandra the lipsticky weirdo was a witch, and she was. They both confirmed that as they died. Why do you want to assume inaccuracy when we have proof that those were right? Because you suddenly need to kill the Inquisitor for some reason... My comments in this next one are in bold. Exactly. We all know that there are some actions taken that we have no control of, those moments when God controls us, and that is one of them, as it is posted by His Divine Hand and not ours. To doubt that, as Charles now claims to do, is the path to heresy. I can't agree with the first part, but the second is a given. His son was guilty or he would be bitching about it in the discussion thread. You know that. You're trying a very poor gambit to turn the tide now that you're a heretic. I should have protected you last night, for that, I am sorry. Posted by God. Only you are trying to lead us astray now. You weren't previously. It's clear why. I hope the town can see this change and know what it means. You ask and answer the question all at once. Why would anyone want to kill our only source of information... to stop that information before they are caught. He can't. The word of God says he was guilty, you are mature enough to accept that, but now Charles calls God a liar. Don't look for logic to come from that. Disregarding his investigations is fine, but killing him means one less innocent to keep the town in balance. Think more carefully. Just as you mourn your own soul? That is a fine strawman argument. Why would you reverse your view now, you know he's innocent and you want him dead. That isn't going to change overnight.
  16. For a good tutorial, read this. It explains the whole thing, in detail. Good luck!
  17. Ok, you mentioned Photoshop, so let's go with that, instead. First off, don't resize it. I know that sounds silly, but all you end up doing is wrecking your work. Instead, adjust the DPI (dots per inch) until it's would produce an image of the necessary size. Basically, it's like you're telling the printer to place the dots closer or farther apart as necessary, without distorting the image by resizing. I, for example, make all of my decals at 600DPI. If someone wanted to print one and usually worked at 300DPI, they could resize it to half size (quarter, really), but instead, by printing at that resolution, they get a crisp and less distorted image. Is that making sense? Bottom line... it's only the print size you need to adjust, and Photoshop can do that without resizing, just by adjusting DPI. Play with it.
  18. Another excellent review of another brilliant little set! New dark green rag wrap. Shooting cannon in the US (yes, they were taken off the market here almost immediately, though I ended up with one in every 1989 set I bought, because I bought quick). Return of the classic cannon carriage. A nice new pirate. A classy new Imperial with shako. Telescope. New flame. A map. Spare blue epaulette? That alone will run you at least a buck for a used one on Bricklink. It's a dream come true in a $6 set. It just keeps getting better.
  19. Excellent job, this review confirms all that I suspected about the new line and I'm pleased to see it. Figure quality is up from the originals including back printing, new accessories like the telescope, the current colour range, decent but not overdone design qualities. I'm pleased. Personally, I wouldn't want the 'kraken' to be any larger, as I think the whole concept is stupid, but it's a logical choice for LEGO to take, and they did so without wasting a lot of time and effort on something bigger that would have just been more of a waste to me. As it stands, a dark red octopus is just fine by me. The new parrots are, well, new. I don't mind new, I have enough of the old ones to stock a whole island, 3 jungles and a pet shop. I have the old printed ones, plain red, medium blue, pink, medium green, yellow, bley, grey, brown... are there any I'm missing? Whatever the case, I like birds in my scenes and have been known to use them in stories. I'm quite happy to get something different to mix in, and I'm sure I'll be talking as adding one of them shortly. I really am excited by this line, I need to get out and pick some up.
  20. The printer will do whatever the program tells it. What are you trying to print it from?
  21. OR, one could argue, without you and your stall, the witches couldn't get the things they need to do whatever it is they're doing behind our backs. In reality, I don't believe your continued existence proves or disproves anything in that regard, and I expect God would simply replace you if he wanted to send us a clue. However, that doesn't make you guilty (or innocent) and we're back to where we started. The Inquisitor and his mental state. Toast? Yes, Hernan is toast now. You know, we should start using these witches to fuel the bakery at this rate. Don't worry that the point will be lost, I am still on that page, I just thought it was a good time to stop the one heretic I felt we could be sure of, and we have. I believe you're overthinking this game ... of life. While the Inquisitor is the one speaking the words, they are clearly coming from TinyPius God. I would prefer a message from him confirming that anything he posts is accurate and not part of a deception from the participants represented, but even without such a proclamation, I feel secure that he wouldn't be intentionally deceiving us in that way, or we'd probably ban him from ever being involved in another of these games ... of life ... again. Right, Charles? I'm uncertain why he arrived. My memory isn't overly good with the time before these recent days, but I suspect he was sent her by someone official, perhaps I requested assistance in dealing with the surge in evil. God only knows.
  22. Another? Who was the first? According to God, we've killed 3 witches. Do you know differently? Well, guess what, shopkeeper... you just stepped in it. Since this is the end of your life we're looking at, you might want to start using that helpful role, if you want to convince us to allow you to continue to play it. Otherwise... burn, baby, burn. Actually, that only convinced the Inquisitor to investigate them, and you don't trust his word right now, so the two cancel each other out. I knew a girl once... name of Darlene. She did that twice in one game ... of life, even got lucky with one of them, much to her surprise. How in the world does that prove anything? The fact that you could resist death from an assassin who we all think is loyal to the town? I'm protected by God, who protects you? Every day we wait, the witches grow in number. The only person who would suggest patience at a time like this is one who wishes for that to happen. That said, I am willing to be patient, to a point. Your life, as far as I am involved, is safe today. If you are trying to deceive us, you are doing it publicly, which is at least slightly honest, it gives us all the chance to consider it carefully. Hernan, on the other hand... Vote: Hernan / stash2sixx
  23. This is the only polybag SW set I don't own and you won it here. I hate you. Congrats and nice review! It's the disease where you keep a set sealed (Mint In Sealed Bag/Box), treating it like a collectible as opposed to a toy, usually with the idea that it'll be worth a lot more later, but sometimes because it just looks really nice that way. I suffer from it sometimes. Other times I thoroughly enjoy it.
  24. Oh, we have one way... It just means voting off Mustafa or Sergio. I've always worried that the Inquisitor isn't paranoid, he's possessed, reporting these things back to get us to do what he wants. He's always the one who declares the most recent kill as a heretic or witch. Occasionally, I am uncertain how much faith to put in the updates we receive. Can we be absolutely certain they are from God and 100% accurate, or are they reporting what we are to be told, based on the word of the Inquisitor. It's all very disturbing to consider. As for witches entering the church, I'm going to assume they can. IF they couldn't, we'd simply vote off all the non-attendees and be done. I don't see it being that easy. One or both of you may be doing a good job, but we can't be sure. We need to conduct the test. By fire. And even then, we can't be sure we haven't just gotten lucky again, or that we're being given the correct report on the results. I don't like where this is going. We've all been thinking it, do we have the faith to do it? As was revealed earlier, I suspected Miguel would be in danger last night. I do not know where Sergio was. Was anyone guarding you or Joan? I never saw anyone guarding me.
  25. Aw, how pathetic cute. I'm kind of surprised that Charles didn't make this thread for you, my dear. Rotrigous certainly would have, in days gone by. Seriously though, Happy Birthday, before this gets weirder.
