So we're all fighting an uncertain future against wieners and black holes and you're our punting, and just happened to start exactly when this disaster struck the ship? Sure, we buy that. You didn't buy it during the last battle we all fought in, but whatever. Oh, and learn the meaning of meta, that isn't it, meta would be if I accused someone of killing someone else to cover their own guilt and used an inflammatory term like "meat shield", or perhaps "wiener shield" in this case. The only boobs I'm referring to are the ones who would be stupid enough to let us be stopped from dealing with the threats against this ship, and those boobs will end up in a black hole, or worse. As for sexual harassment, you're the one that brought my body into the equation as an attempt to distract us from our crisis. Don't think we can't see through you. All of that said, I still don't know what to think. You could be innocent and just acting foolishly, and that can't be enough to send you out an airlock. Unvote: Svelte / Barney Vance (Yes, I know it didn't count anyway) Well, that puts a new light on things, IF it's true.

You're from The Netherlands, we can see it under your name. Graphics are prizes and have to be manually added. Adding 7200 flags would be a bit of trouble, wouldn't it? Edit: Hi Siegfried who got here just before me.

I will contact you privately, and hope you're not infected. A lot of blah blah followed by an attempt to trick people into complacency. Yeah, that's a good strategy when faced with a pair of deadly threats. I stand by my feeling on this matter, even if the voting is only hypothetical at this point (less than 24 hours, you know).

If he was your boss and you needed to make way to take over the team. I think we both know how this works, so don't play naive. Fair enough, since we've had absolutely nothing useful to go on. I know for a fact that he is uninfected, so going after him makes me suspicious. Simple as that. When you find someone you know you can trust, you tend to get suspicious when others accuse them. It isn't unusual at all. Maybe you'd like to share what it is you do at night when you're out in the halls, and then we'll learn something? That was just creepy. If I was to take the evidence I currently have and start pointing fingers, it would be square in the chest of Security Guard Barney Vance who has been markedly absent except when he needs to pop in to throw suspicion somewhere else or defend someone who shouldn't need defending. He has also behaved in traditional scum style by failing to appear at the private staff meetings that he used to attend regularly. Everyone present at them has noted this fact. Combined with the fact that he has a night action he hasn't mentioned to anyone here, he's definitely at the top of my list. Is that transparent enough for you? And this will be the vote that tells me, and anyone paying attention, who the infected are. Vote: Svelte / Barney Vance

With every victory comes a loss. It beats two loses, but dammit, going at this pace it isn't going to leave us much time to try to save the ship as well. Night after night I am slowly beginning to get a grasp on at least one aspect of this situation and hope it eventually reveals something conclusive. I can say that I am still concerned with the quiet ones, the ones who seem to be trying to stay invisible, the ones who aren't maintaining their usual routines and are, instead, hiding in silence. There could be a number of patterns here, including one where you are infected and trick us into trusting you by sacrificing one of your own, so don't get overly smug. Yes, this was a victory, but it doesn't prove anything unless you can follow it up by applying whatever knowledge you used to spot Jad Suur again with the same results. I sincerely hope you're not infected. Ploy or not, this does make me reconsider my vote from yesterday. It seems that for now, I'm going to have to trust you to a point, but then you give me reasons to doubt again, just a little ... He isn't that pretty, but given that you are focusing on him instead of everyone who voted against you (provided you don't think that all 9 of us are infected ) makes me a little suspicious of your own motives. Whatever the case, by now our investigator has to have achieved something, or are we truly supposed to fly blind, day after day, night after night, as we wonder who is next?

Haven't bought from them in years. At one time, they were in a 3 way competition with TRU and KB Toys online, but eventually KB bought them out. At that point, the two sites were selling the same things but with different prices and the things I bought from eToys arrived in better condition. I never did understand what exactly they were doing there, but I never had any problem with them. Actually, the prices I saw were high, even some of the sale prices. It's sort of like TRU with their markup and then discount routine. Only way I'd deal with them is if they ran free shipping.

Now that's the way to introduce yourself. Welcome to Eurobricks! You have been frontpaged. I look forward to seeing you around the site. Thanks for joining! Or a lot sooner.

AFOL Spotlight: Jasper Joppe Geers In an unusual twist for the frontpage, we're putting the spotlight on a new member who has been kind enough to share both his personal story and some simply amazing creations all in one post. How about dropping in to his very first topic and taking a further look as you welcome him to Eurobricks?

Having relieved the pressing matter in my pants, I could definitely do with something to eat. Pumpkin pie springs to mind. Seriously, are we all alone now? Should I sit everyone down and tell them a story to pass the time?

I can't imagine either, but admit it, weiners looks more proper than wieners. I'm not sure why. Either spelling can produce the correct pronunciation and prior to the game I'd probably only written it a few times in my whole life, so when this passes, it shall be forgotten again. It's one of a limited number of words that I personally spell incorrectly my own personal way, like seperate. I don't even pronounce that syllable unless I am seperating things, which is a seperate issue entirely. In that case it's said the way I spell it, not that other way. When I hear someone say 'sep-par-ut', I'll accept that spelling laugh at them. Loudly. Give it time, I'll get seperate in the dictionary eventually. Yes, and it's spelled wiener.gif, which makes the whole situation even more curious.

Congrats Happy Walruses! In a shocking twist, I was considered to be "too normal" to be allowed in that day.

Right! How about Chicago?

LEGO Atlantis Guardian of the Deep Set Review
Shadows replied to Mariann Asanuma's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Makes perfect sense, think The Legend of Zelda. You're to defeat each of the monsters to collect keys that will eventually open the way to the next one, a boss of sorts. Kids will understand the concept and I think it actually adds a little something to the sets since each one will have a unique piece as a result. Aside from some of the minifigs and accessories, it's probably the most positive aspect of the sets so far, it sets up the quest concept that belongs in a theme based on a fictional kingdom. -
Minifig Collectors: Show and Discuss Your Collection Here
Shadows replied to gladiator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's currently pending approval to the BL catalog as an alternate to the main entry, so it seems that some made it out there. Whatever the case, I know I want one, but I'm crazy like that. -
Seems like you had a good experience, but this belongs in the Bricklink Trusted Seller's List instead so that more people will see it. Topics merged.

Minifig Collectors: Show and Discuss Your Collection Here
Shadows replied to gladiator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great job! I hope to put together a display eventually, but I'm still in the sorting and procuring phase and also doing things like Monster Studios and Town (which is absolutely mind boggling in number) plus all the classic lines. I'm 4 figures from finishing Classic Pirates, for example, but feel like I'm years from having the space to take all the pics I want. Oh, one thing about your Fantasy Castle collection, you're missing a recent alternate addition to the Troll King in the form of a copper crown version. I haven't seen one yet, but it sounds delightful. Keep up the great work and please update us as you progress! -

That's Lieutenant Commander, punk. Now I'm duty bound to throw you out the airlock personally. There aren't actually any lies, no one is claiming to know anything, we're just taking a shot at it based on your attitude. It's all we've got right now, I'm sorry to say. We won't, you weren't, and you're welcome. Drama queen.

It's annoying that we most assuredly have some form of investigator, yet they haven't stepped forward. It could indicate that they haven't discovered anything useful. We can't sit around waiting to take action, even if the action is questionable, we have a limited number of days to deal with this, then we have to try to save the ship from a black hole. I don't think that leaves us much alternative but to act now. If we're wrong, we're all dead in 10 days anyway, right? Vote: Jim Butcher/Florentzia
