  1. No. The host is. Moron. I really don't know what my secret was. I knew that the cop was bad because he testified to help people I thought were guilty. That tells me that I looked down on him for that, which means I don't see myself doing the same. I think I just got lumped in with the rest of the lawyers out there... Whatever the case, I thought we did try to read the book, and I know I tried checking out that recessed area in the basement, so I must have just missed finding those clues. And the treasure! Where is it???
  2. I didn't have any secrets, aside from the treasure. I made that up while waiting for the train I wasn't actually on. Figured that a gold, old fashioned treasure hunt could distract people from the purpose of the game. It wasn't overly effective, but it was amusing and I think Draggy let me live because he thought I could cause confusion when in actuality, I knew it was him from about halfway through. But what the hell is a Mafstraw???
  3. HA! KNEW IT! I'm sure the final wrap up explanation will help everyone else understand just what went on here, while I head down to the basement to find that treasure once and for all! Ooooh, look, a ruby!
  4. Not overly helpful. Engofi voted for every uninfected except himself. Ivan only got one right and that was a useless vote situation since it had no real support, Barney was wrong while he lived, that's 2 uninfecteds and an unknown... should I continue to point out the problems? At the very least, it seems to prove one thing... we're confused, badly. Evaluate the non voters next, it might be vaguely more revealing, since those people appear to be trying to avoid notice, which is typical scum behaviour. Oh, and I'm not jumping on any bandwagon at this point. I don't know who to listen to anymore. Next post: I can't edit, so I'll just correct the "Ivan" for whoever the hell JimButcher is playing. Seriously, I keep thinking he's Ivan for some reason.
  5. Give it a rest, queenie, you'd already revealed your supposed new night action when you did the typical "I heard someone new will be investigating" routine that everyone knows means the person saying it. Same as when Barney defended the investigator, everyone knew it was him. People are so obvious with that one. No, and for a very simple reason... he's repeatedly said he thinks you're scum, then the first chance he has to support that claim, he votes for me instead, leaving me in the middle of a situation alone. That's scum behaviour. Then add that if I die and am found uninfected (I would be), he wants you next. That's playing both sides against the middle, and if you really are uninfected, that's two guaranteed uninfected deaths. Good enough for you, or do you need to be hit in the head with it? I had to be ... You can blame some of that on the AI and a lot of it on Khrum and his suspicions. He's also the reason I wasted my blocking ability so many times on his wife. I admit to having been played, how about you? It's hard to focus when you're being voted to death for following through on something from someone you trusted, and I certainly can't view him as trustworthy now. As for DAVE, I've wondered about that since early on, but given the tendency for me to be attacked whenever I propose any possibility, I've not exactly been in a position to say it. Barney said innocent, and everyone assumed it was backwards. He was, in fact, right. It's why I thought Wicwa was a framer, the only wrong result came on a night when she did her night action. That's kind of an interesting attitude... but I'm not saying it lest I be attacked yet again for simply playing this game ... of life the way we always have in the past.
  6. That's great, Michael. Your list, my list, Khrum's list, they all match except when it comes to you. I give up, being voted against by my most trusted ally is more than I can handle, I can't work alone, and I don't really have anything more to add. This whole situation was set up to play us against each other and I can't look at you, Michael, without thinking you're infected, and with good reason, then you post a list that I've already sent Khrum, confirming that I'm either completely wrong about everyone, or we're both uninfected. Just kill me, people. I know I'm uninfected, I know I'm the blocker, but Michael is right, I've been ineffective. I don't think my blocking has helped at all, the only killer I found was uninfected and then Wicwa seems to be neutral with a useless role. A Lt. Cmdr should be able to do more than that, I was trained to be better than this and it I'm making it worse for the crew, the only fair thing for me to do is simply step aside and leave you to your own decisions. Unvote: Hinckley / Michael I'll be in my quarters for the rest of the day, settling my affairs and leaving a letter for my family. I couldn't stop loving you, anyway...
  7. But yes, I'm the one with the bad attitude. Didn't you just get done yelling at someone for doing exactly what you're doing here? Plus, as much as some of you would like to ignore your own responsibility, no single person makes any decision in voting, we do it as a group and are responsible for our own votes. I take that very seriously and feel bad for the ones that have gone wrong, but that doesn't make them my fault. Just checking the voting record you can see the order in which votes came in, that alone can be revealing. As for your random quotes... care to quote what came before those, especially the things by PM? No, I don't think so. Want to name all the people you proposed having La'h'Rok kill? I wonder how many of them would side with you if they knew your plans... As for specifics of my votes: Barney mistakenly led us to kill an uninfected, so if you're going to condemn me for doubting him, you're an idiot, but in the end he was lost to the infected killer. That tells us that he must have at least been heading in the right direction finally. I believe he was killed so that he couldn't report that I am uninfected. He never was crazy, he was deceived by a framer who made Sarah look infected when she wasn't. He had to be silenced or we wouldn't be having this fight today, everyone would know that I'm uninfected. La'h'Rok looked suspicious when he didn't kill who he said he would and tried to claim he was blocked when I knew I hadn't blocked him from doing it. In the end, we learned that the infected must also have a blocker, but before confirming that through his innocence, there was no way to know. Engofi's death was a plan I opposed despite you and Barney pushing it vigorously. Don't make me dig out all of those quotes, everyone remembers "the plan" you two had. Knowing that he was uninfected tells me that you were the one who duped him into it, and we have all paid as a result. You can misquote all you want, but the facts are pretty clear, I'm willing to risk my own life to stop you and your lies and deceptions. Actually, if you read those quotes, you'll also see where I tried to save Engofi from your stupid test and only gave in to it the next day when Barney had been murdered and we needed something, anything to help. I still regret that, but it was something we all did out of desperation. Oh, and as I recall, there was a guy who looked remarkably like you in that Noir Mafia movie, and he was one of the scum you are warning against. I can't remember his name now... Finkley, Stinkley, Jerkface, something like that.
  8. I'm going out on a limb here... I believe Wicwa, at least enough to not vote for her. IF she's neutral, she is of more use to the uninfected than the infected, and based on what I know of her night activities she can't be the killer, so at this point I see no harm in it. There is one among us who is a danger, however, and I've been fighting my feelings about it since the beginning. Michael is infected. It wasn't obvious at first, though there were a few small signs in his private messages, moments where he expressed too much knowledge of things he shouldn't know and such. I tried to put it off as guessing, but it eventually turned to a somewhat gloating attitude that I don't think he saw he had. The people who have trusted him have died. Barney and La'h'Rok trusted him, kept him in their communications, and died for it. They thought they could trust him and told him too much. I've been guilty of the same. If you check the days, you'll see where he's proposed a lot of things "to help" and all have hurt. He supported Barney when he was being deceived into thinking that Sarah was infected. He supported the plan to kill Engofi as a test and he was uninfected. He proposed taking out La'h'Rok yesterday after it was becoming clear that he just might be what he said he was. Now he's making veiled comments intended to make us believe that he's the new investigator and coincidentally, he just happened to scan the only person killed last night. Convenient. Let me guess that tonight he'll find someone innocent so we have no reason to test that result tomorrow, then when he does find someone infected, it'll drive us to kill yet another innocent and push the balance over to them. It's all been carefully orchestrated around our love. I was told very clearly that I would probably kill myself if he died, but I don't believe it anymore. I don't believe that I would be stupid enough to continue to love an infected wiener, and I'm willing to risk my own life to prove that point. Vote: Hinckley / Michael Now wait for his supporters to pop up spouting their false claims that I have been getting innocents killed day after day, then research it. See where those votes began and you'll see that he's been carefully manipulating this whole game ... of life ... behind our backs, all the way down the line. Yes, I've suspected some of the wrong people, but I've done it largely based on his words, public and private, and now I see what a fool I've been. Ask yourself why I'm still alive. I've been doing it since the beginning. In any other game ... of life ... I would be dead by now, but the infected think they can't kill me without taking out Michael. He must be very important to them, and it's time I take a stand and risk my own life to stop him. Michael, I hate you for what you've done and I hope you freeze in the icy void of space for all eternity, just as you've forever frozen my heart. I will never love again, and that's fine, I let it cloud my vision for too long but I see clearly now and don't regret this decision for a moment. You sucked as a lover, and now space can return the favour.
  9. I stuck a pair of your tighty whities on her head, it's enough to immobilize even the surliest troll (I actually timelocked her door from the outside).
  10. My specified method of blocking would have prevented her from leaving her room. Once that was enabled, I went to bed secure in the knowledge that she wouldn't be up to anything all night.
  11. I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer, I've been blocking Wicwa for days, I only wish I had suspected her enough to block her the night Sarah was falsely found infected, maybe it could have been prevented. I think today will be very revealing and help to highlight just where people stand, especially since a few were so quick to try to turn the issue away from Wicwa after Michael brought her up, just as the infected killer saved her life last night by killing La'h'Rok, who we needed desperately.
  12. I'm getting us to vote people to death? Did I lead the call for Sarah? Engofi? Anyone? Yeah, I didn't trust La'h'Rok and would have voted him off, but there was good reason to suspect him after he failed to kill who he agreed to. Despite that, we made peace and had a plan last night, then he was killed before he could do it. Since the infected killer had avoided him up to that point, and he was foolish enough to broadcast the plan to a few of you, it seems obvious that he told someone who was infected and they knew he had to die to protect their fellow infected crewmate. His target was Wicwa, you can bet she's infected and La'h'Rok died because the infected wanted to protect her. If you can actually investigate now and get proper results, kill her and investigate me, at least she won't be tampering with the scanner and you'll know once and for all that I am not infected. As for the sudden bandwagon against me, I would suggest to the uninfected crew that they review the tapes of previous days and see the truth, because I haven't been the one causing us to go wrong, it's been the people who have argued against me, knowing that I was on to one of their kind. When the time comes, I hope you'll be ready to vote for the truth instead of their lies.
  13. Just a personal opinion but something is rotten in one of those states near Denmark. Seriously, this looks sketchy to me and we're not meant to be your private advertising assistant when you aren't behaving like a good member of the site. Game over. Thanks for playing. Please don't insert another quarter.
  14. Or a drinker. I'm leaning towards the latter, though it isn't exactly a mutually exclusive situation...
  15. The scanner moved to someone else? Oh crap, that means we really do have to test it once and for all. As I said when the day started, I see no reasonable alternative to this... Vote: Engofi / Eskallon
  16. I've announced my suspicion in previous days and made it fairly clear. I haven't seen the slightest bit of interest from anyone else, and I can't fight the battle alone, so instead of confusing the current battle more, I'm holding it until I see some outside support. That's why I haven't voted for you at this point, but it could all be an elaborate plot. Leave the two of us alive long enough to keep confusing issues while killing someone else each night, then finish us off for the quick win at the end. I don't know yet...
  17. I blocked Barney on the first night because I had a feeling about him. There is no way I could have known his alignment or role at that point, and I wouldn't have had a problem with being investigated, though given his results, I'd probably be dead now since he probably would have gotten a mistaken reading like he did with Sarah, so I can't say I regret the luck there. I do know that you didn't do anything last night, and based on past experience, you pretty much can't be a killer, though I'm fascinated by the rest of what you say... Unless you're a neutral of some kind, you have allies, even if you are uncertain of them. At some point, if you have a means of helping, you're going to have to take a chance, like I am by being so open about things.
  18. From what I've seen, you said it to half the crew, including at least one person I know is infected, but know I'll never get everyone to support dealing with. That's pretty open behaviour for a killer who doesn't want to be stopped. Speaking of which... why didn't the other killer take you out? I suspect it's someone who is afraid of the confrontation or who isn't participating much and doesn't realise it. At this point, I'd like to see a killer vs killer confrontation to settle the matter once and for all. I don't believe you. When I block something where the person is taking real action, like walking around with a knife, it's shown for all to see. I didn't block you because you said you wouldn't kill me, which seemed like a great test, but I'm beginning to think you can't kill me, and I'm starting to come up with a good reason why. For now, that's not the point here. The point is, you didn't do what you said and there is no indication why. If you were blocked by another blocker, I would expect the AI to show that or at least have you both arrive late or something indicating action. If we aren't even being given that basic information, we can't rely on anything and the AI is out to get us and I'll personally ban it from every starship in the fleet, as soon as I get a chance. I thought I knew what you were going to do as the day ended, at least in the sense that you wouldn't kill me. At that time I chose who to block, before your PMs back and forth with others. When I saw who were going to target, I thought it sounded reasonable as I had suspected them myself. When they didn't die... it's hard not to jump to a conclusion there. If only it was that simple. While you may always be seen in that suit, there has been some time in your past when you weren't in it, so for all we know, you could be the King of the Wieners and leading this whole attack. Seriously, that just isn't how this game ... of life ... is played or we would also be able to rule out pumpkinhead and mandydroidy, but we can't. Next the trolls would claim they can't be infected for some biological reason, etc.
  19. Only unlikely? What if you aren't who you claim to be at all? I have reason to believe that each of us was invited through deception, but that one wasn't invited at all, and that one ... is YOU! I'd like for the group to subdue this imposter and put him in a closet, a crate, a coffin, whatever we have handy. Let's not have any more deaths ...
  20. I never told him I would or wouldn't block him, but he seemed to think I wasn't going to, based on that private correspondence we were all receiving. I was also under the impression he had a specific target in mind and they didn't die, so I can see him as a valid target for the day, unless he can offer some explanation (though I can't see what it would be). Then again, if there is an infected blocker, our discussions yesterday may have told them exactly who to stop in the night and we're right back where we started. That said, I am not in cahoots with anyone, I don't trust a single one of you that much. Everywhere I turn I see wieners or suspicions of wieners...
  21. Sorry to be so long, I've been rather busy looking for the treasure and lost track of things. Sadly, I'm beginning to think as some of you that Father Clarance is the killer. I tried to protect him and couldn't find him, which means his actions are completely unaccounted for, except by his own word. Most of the rest of us have been previously shown to be uninvolved in various ways, but not him... I accuse Father Clarance!
  22. Barney, you looked guilty but you turned out to simply be insane. Based on that, I can't see any alternative to taking out Engofi, unless someone can offer a plausible alternative. Seeing as I was as confused as the rest of us, I'm going to try to be more open to suggestions today and less argumentative. Until someone pisses me off, of course. Likewise. Except according to private messages between La'h'Rok and Barney, I was under the impression that they were going to use his killing powers to do a test, so I didn't block him. The person I blocked never left their quarters, so at the very least I know who the killer isn't, but I don't have any way to vouch for La'h'Rok. Nor do I have any way to assume he committed the killing. This isn't getting any better...
  23. Can't you feel the anticipation building? It's exciting!
  24. We tried that yesterday and look what it got us. We're definitely flushing the ship's AI after this mission.
